It's sad that we never got to see the Thunder Megazord use the Red Dragon Thunderzord's staff with the tail of the Firebird Thunderzord in any episode of the shows second season.
This is the super sentai artisan release. I think it was released back in 2013 to commemorate Dairanger's 20th anniversary. The original version, both JP and US didnt have the swappable hand nor spinning hand feature.
Because it is, at least a little bit--this appears to be the Super Sentai Artisan release from 2018, with some upgraded features (like the swappable rotating wrist on the dragon/RyuseiOh) and all of the stickers redone as molded detail and paint operations. (Those paint operations are probably the biggest factor in it looking nicer than the original!) You can also notice the difference when Daimugen/"Tor" goes back to using stickers, since that toy never got an Artisan release

I dont know how to feel about dairanger mecha. The dragon is sooooo good and the overall asthetic is excellent. But besides that everything is so... Boring

Holy crap! This is so awesome. The Bandai JP Mecha in the Dairen'Oh had so much more movement and features than the Thunder Megazord we got in 1994.
