Could it not be because the vast majority of their enemies are weaker compared to them? The ottosuyis are ordinary humans (the vast majority are just civilians) turned into monsters by being in the middle of a stress attack or mental problem or overwhelmed by a childhood trauma or existential problem and they ALL have the same eratic fighting style, without style and much less experience
The whole show is a joke/reference/celebration of Super Sentai and being unabashedly Japanese. I'm pretty sure the reason they never lost was in and of itself a reference to the fact that when the mechs fought, they stayed down. Not that a loss is bad or anything, it adds drama, gives the stories a little more excitement, allows writers and choreographers to get frisky with the whole story. I'm not a huge fan of Don Brothers or Momotaro as a concept for sentai, but this is all based on the preceeding sentai series being really meh for red Rangers being really weak. So I say let the joke ride. I mean, Momotaro basically had his mind wiped at the end . So he ended up learning zero at the end and it all mean nothing.
