How American Ice Theatre changed my life | Adult Weekend Skateaway 2022

I was stuck in place for a long time. American Ice Theatre is one of a few things that helped shake me loose.
In 2022, American Ice Theatre hosted their second annual (in person) Adult Weekend Skateaway in Austin, Texas, and yes, I did get to go this year.
Contemporary skating is something I was exposed to in early 2020 on Instagram, and ever since I've been entranced by its similarity to contemporary dance. Through this medium, skating becomes less stressful, allowing me to skate from the heart.
