Hi, I'm wondering how you do the separate texture on the axle on the T-shirt - near the Neck Collar you show.... /// THX ... Wonder if you can show this in a video TUT if time over, please... /// McRoman ...
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by axle? Do you mean the shoulder panels? How do I use separate textures on different pieces? Could you try and explain differently so I can help? Thanks!
Hi, I asked in another video, but I'll ask here - in relation to the trim edge on the fold line. Id like to have more definition there so that when I take outside to another program I get a smooth render on the folded edge. Do you know if I can control that somehow in Clo?
The same thing as turned sewing? No, setting sublayers is more about when things are sewn on top of each other and you're telling it which one should sit on top. Turned sewing is like pressing something back on itself as opposed to pressing a seam open. Like a facing. Does that make sense?
Thank you a lot, but I try as you say but do NOT have the "HOLE" you have on the parts of the shoulder pieces, I only use CLo3D for about 1 month, so if you have time and power I would be very appreciated, if you can show on a video or find one, I search but not find one who explains in a good way, and slow to follow ... /// McRoman ... Anyway THX for replay back to me... " Who Says's LIFE is Easy ! ;) " Also, any chance to buy this T-Shirt you do above - IF it is not too expensive ... - only humble asking for learning... Also, how do you put this shoulder part on the T-Shirt ...
Ahh I see. I didn't realize you were asking specifically about the texture. You need a repeatable image to create a texture. I'd be happy to share it with you for free, just email me at hello@ides.studio and I'll send you the fabric file. If you want to purchase the t-shirt it's available here: ides.studio/collections/tops/products/t-shirt-block-male To add the shoulder panels you need to draw the seamlines, cut-and-sew them and then merge the two pieces together at the shoulder seam. I can make you a video if you email me.
Do you mean the shoulder panels? - YES this I mean, ... How do I use separate textures on different pieces? - YES too ... /// THX /// McRoman sorry don't remember the word, axel is like a Swedish word ... ;)
No worries :) I figured it was the word in another language. You can drag and drop different fabrics from the library into the property editor under the fabric tab. Then you select the pattern pieces that you want to be in those fabrics and you click the down arrow next to the fabric. It will assign the pattern piece to that fabric. Let me know if that's not clear and I'll find you a video that shows it more clearly.
DITO;: I love the speed of that tutorial and the explanation of steps with the hotkey icons! Keep up the great videos! /// McRoman ...
Thank you!

Great! That's my goal! I did mess up the Tool Bar hotkeys in my first few videos, including this one, but I've fixed it for the future :)

Do you mean how the fold line can look crinkled and low res even in hi-res?
Great tutorial!
Thank you!
thank you so much!!
You’re welcome. Glad you liked it!
Does layer over not do the same thing?
