These look so cool! I love the twisted ones from your first set too, think i prefer that look but i also love variety in a set :) looking forward to making my own too 🥰
Thanks for your videos. When you say "this has been a learning process" I have to laugh because of how true it is. SO FRUSTRATING but so fulfilling. I just wish i could figure out the crochet hook method, it doesn't seem to work for me.
When looking for kanekalon, look for pre stretched. These have ends that looked feathered and not straight blunt. If it is blunted, you will have to feather the ends by pulling sections out of the bundle and placing them back into the bundle multiple times for the feathered ends.
I’m in the process of making me some as we speak. I’m using some of my old human hair extensions, with some synthetics mixed in…. We will see how this goes.
Love that you make simple to the point vids!! As I was watching (I’m making the twist and seal method dreads currently) I was wondering whether you like this style of dread or the ones from your previous video more? Do you have any pros/cons for either??!
I really like the twist style more, I think it looks prettier! But I do like both. I feel like the crochet method makes them look more realistic, though the twist and seal looks pretty.🦋
After you crochet them do you stick them in boiling water to seal them? I wanna start making these so bad but the only way i have seen is the hair straightner way which seems alot more difficult.
Yes I do! Both methods can be tricky and time consuming but if I can do it anyone can, trust me! You just have to have patience with yourself.✨️ And trust me, I'm not perfect at making these at all compared to a lot of the people who have been doing this for years. But, practice makes perfect.

Honestly, I'm still learning. You'll get in eventually!
Love hearing Trent in the background vanlife theefineprint
Try stretching the kanekalon if it isn't pre stretched. There are lots of videos on this.

How many dreads can you make from 1 bundle of hair
Hmm, I want to say maybe 5-7? I don't really remember😅

A steamer should work well and make the process a bit easier!! Theres little ones that work like an electric kettle with a nozzle top :D
where did you get the crochet hooks from?
I got them off Amazon!
👍🏾
There is a girl on TikTok that makes dreads
A lot of people make them, they do such a good job!
