If you want to learn more about American culture, I think you’d be interested to learn that many of your famous countrymen were quite important to our country’s founding. Kazimierz Pułaski was one guy I know. Tadeusz Kościuszko came here because he believed in freedom and he fought in our Revolution because it was a cause he believed in, and many times he tried to advise and warn the revolutionaries, and most of his tactical predictions were correct. He stayed until the war ended and America was established. He returned home to Poland with the intention of doing something similar to what was done in America, with the constitution he wanted to establish being inspired by the US, but if I can remember it was even more forward thinking. It’s sad he didn’t get to see his goals through but if I’m not mistaken he’s a hero in Poland and in the US.

Having a test tomorrow in an advanced placement american history class, it's really amazing how usefull of a study tool this song is. Even if it was intended for young kids, its still pretty valuable to me at 15 in highschool. :D
