@@Velocinappaas a fan myself from the beginning I'm far from starving in terms of specifically LBP content, I can play the LBP trilogy on Beacon at any time, and in terms of uncharted grounds I still haven't completed SABA yet, I'm also yet to play LBP Vita as I'm waiting for vita3k to optimise the game way more since original hardware is becoming more expensive to attain. And on a similar note, I'm very eager to see how Restitched turns out to scratch that itch of wanting to play a new UGC game that's actually good. People who consistently beg for new slop every waking moment even when something just came out are just way too dedicated to a single franchise and refuse to branch out to try new experiences that tickle their fancy, or properly pursuit the realistically attainable ways of restoring functionality to what they lost in terms of the PS3 games (it's seriously easy to install HEN with webmanMOD and patch the game nowadays)
Servers are expensive, since it was ment to be a free game it would have a lot more poeple playing and publishing levels thus having much bigger loads on the server and bigger costs, it only makes sense to charge to be able to publish more levels to make it easier to keep the game up and running, and to make a profit
@@OreoEater Counterpoint: they already have more than enough ways to monetize the game via costume/level packs, I personally don’t see the need to add another way to monetize the game by locking a feature that’s one of the key parts of LBP (sharing), and has been there since LBP1 and 2 behind a paywall
@@livmo04 while yes there is other ways to make money it might just straight up not be enough to sustain the game considering it was a free game that was ment to be continually updated, not only would the game being free bring in more people, they also would no longer be paying the 60$ that the previous games cost on release, a good chunk of the new playerbase would also not buy any dlcs at all, so limiting how much players can publish for free and giving them the option to pay to publish more levels would probably have been necessary
Interesting how they just straight up copied/pasted the store from this build into LBP3. Also there was a planned Bioshock Infinite DLC? Also I wondered how this would’ve worked if you already owned LBP1/2, Would you still have to buy the story level packs, or would they be automatically unlocked upon scanning your profile?
If you owned LBP1 or 2, they would have most likely asked you to insert the disk to extract their contents, so you don't have to wait for the Downloadinator
I like Hub's UI a lot. Its a shame that Hub was canned, it might've made LBP more accessible and as a result made the game more popular. And then we may have seen an LBP4 come out at around 2020 or so. I personally was playing LBP for the first time ~2013/2014, and seeing as Hub was supposed to be free, a lot of people like me would've gotten into the game a lot sooner thanks to Hub if it was a thing. But thats just my ramblings, lol.
After the game is release with have now lbp 3 lbp psp lbp karting lbp vita level and lbp 3 lbp psp lbp karting lbp vita dlc and the pin have icon now for the lbp hub pin and you can change the pod in a pod bus and the social have photo and the game is on ps4 ps5
It’s so funny how the store runs 3000x faster than the LBP3 store
i bet they just crammed that store into lbp3 at the last min
It’s funny how this game runs faster than LBP 3

Real
It's like an upgraded LBP2, I would've loved this.
And it would’ve been for free!
@itsthepossume4457 in the original announcement they did say it was going to be for free, which is extremely disappointing that they cancelled it
With how functional this game is, now that it's actually connected to servers, I'm surprised they didn't release it!
I love the immediate interest in it
The lbp fandom needed something to cling on to ig

yeah... it's an unreleased game

looks like it was originally built for all platforms

Man, they really wanted to monetize publishing levels, huh? Lame asl ngl
i mean it was intended to be a free game :/
i imagine you’d have something like 5 free slots and you’d have to pay for extra ones

Interesting that the LBP2 timesaver DLC has LBP vita art as the thumbnail
Where are the patches to make it work? It just infinitely loads. Over two hours waiting for the pod or intro level.
gotta love how the store in lbp 3 was just copy and pasted from this
i wanna see how the lbp levels would have played on lbp2 engine
hmm.. i wonder when this is getting released for rpcs3. gonna have to wait extra time for that
Do the LBP1 levels work at all?
this was cancelled? what? why?
ohh so that's where the lbp3 store mechanics came from
Downloadinating!

But the con would have been to see more kids or trolls into the game such as the ones who settle all the free games…
Funny how i love this hub but also am so distraught because of the ui lol, I think i spent too much time on lbp2 to appreciate this properly
How do you get this verisok of the hub??
I think they use RPCS3 and use the LBPUnion Patch on it, to "unlock" the store and multiplayer menus etc, my laptop is too slow to run it lol
