- Jess and Shannon find a diamond in the rough hidden in the pines. This FJ40 hadn't been driven in over 20 years, not knowing what they had, they decided to see if they could make it run. After fixing the leaks, rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the seat covers, replacing the tires and wheels, and a whole lot of cleaning they were ready to hit the trail 70s style! LOL
These videos were taken from our Instagram story archive, hence the vertical video. We thought you all might enjoy a peek at our project that took place before we kicked off this TH-cam channel. Hope you enjoy it..let us know what you think because we have a lot more Instagram archive material we can do this with..if you don't like it let us know and we will nix it! @MrsCampbell5az

Nice!
@@monette44 thank you
Enjoyed the compilation of stories into a video. Let’s the memories live on another platform.
@@patrickobrien5424 yes people were liking that first jeep that I built just talking about it and pictures so I figured I would just try that and see how it went. I’ve got so many more just trying to find time to do them and remember half the things about them lol thank you
@@shannoncampbell_unleashed very cool way to preserve what you've had a hand in building over the years.
What an Iconic off road vehicle. To find one in that condition, a true survivor, amazing! It really cleaned up nice. I'm sure the new owners are happy with it. My son in law has 3. Two of them sitting in my back yard and one at his house. Just waiting for the right time...
@@kevinp2820 I had no idea what they were really worth. I wasn’t even going to buy this a friend called and told me the old couple had to get it off their property at their cabin and said it hadn’t ran forever and I told him I don’t really restore vehicles or anything. I just build them from scratch but I went over there to try and help the old guy out told him I would find a buyer and after taking pictures of it and posting them found out it was worth a lot of money so we went back the next day and bought it and I was going to flip it like it was without doing anything then I got hooked after getting it running
That thing looks to be just the right amount of used, talking about the FJ😅🤩
@@Motodents it was such a beautiful perfect little vehicle. We hated to sell it, but it was going to sit outside all winter, and I just spent a lot of time detailing it and cleaning it up. The Pino was perfect. There was not a ding in it original everything was missing the backseats, very fun to play with not like the stuff that we normally play with but was a perfect cabin mountain cruiser
Was curious did you watch the whole video? What did you think it was basically Instagram stories that I clipped together this is before I started TH-cam mostly wanted to archive it so that I had it somewhere besides Instagram let me know what you think and be honest
@shannoncampbell_unleashed I enjoyed it, thought it worked out good.
@ I did watch all of it , I thought it was great , only little thing was it cut off some of the words on the bottom screen. So that’s a pretty small critique. You guys should definitely do more like those to get them on YT🤩
@ yes I knew that the words got cut off. It’s because they were actually on my story on Instagram and then the way that the picture fits on there. There’s no way to save it at least not my technical ass lol I have the CJ seven that was my very first bill here at The Coop. I have a whole lot of the whole build same thing. It was done on Instagram and I kept getting people calling metelling me to start TH-cam when I was building that jeep and of course my new race car is all on Instagram
Would love to have you join us this year for Rubithon June 25-29
@@jeffgreenwood5159 oh my friends go on jeepers jamboree so we easily go on that trip can only swing once a year but thank you for thinking of me and thanks for watching
