It takes a lot of repitition. I've been self teaching piano for almost 11 years now and I've picked up that you shouldn't try to follow the video in real time it won't work.
Learn the keys on your piano first, so know what the letters all mean.
I will have a sheet of paper that I divide in half like this:
Left Hand____|____Right Hand
|
|
And I'll write my notes side by side then rewatch the video to put them together. Hope this helped ✌️
