It's an absolute honor to own many of your knives, most of the Rinkhals and all of the exclusive Orcas that Arno did back in 2019, as well as some of the most beautiful and rare of your fixed blades. The attention to detail ,materials and customer care is second to none,I've personally received a phone call from Ruan on many occasions asking how I enjoyed my knife and that is something I will carry all my life,The knives are a part of my life, a forever collection that I enjoy and will pass along for many generations, along with the passion for knives that I have, thanks to great companies with the attention to detail, passion and customer dedication of Arno Bernard Knives, owning an exclusive paring knife would be a lifetime experience that could never be matched, and a knife to pass along for many generations to come.
As a person who enjoys cooking and being fortunate to own several Arno knives, I appreciate you making it possible for us to have an opportunity to own this beauty. Thank you!
Awesome knife , I have one of your knives from 24 years ago , excellent knife . You should really make a paring knife as one of your production knives . So useful in the field to have a thin blade knife .
Watching this video, I am so impressed with the custom made tooling in your factory. Purpose made, but only just to enhance the hand made finished item, not massed produced. With SA in the throws of the third wave, you all keep safe!.
Oh man, that is a thing of pure beauty! I have gifted two Arno Bernard knives to very close friends of mine but strangely enough, don't own any myself (yet). If i am deemed worthy enough to win, this knife would have pride of place in our camp kitchen, living out a life in an environment that deserves nothing but the best!
Great idea for the kitchen. I have 3 ABK Hunting knives. I use in the field as well as skinning game. I enjoyed cooking as well as hunting. The up coming paring knife will be a great knife for utility work in kitchen food preparation!
My wereld what a beautiful knife and the craftsmanship out of this world.I have the vulture which is my pride and joy.Hopefully I can add to this.Greetings from New Zealand.
My Giraffe Bone Bongo is so beautiful I still haven't taken it out in the field for use. Watching how it was built tells me that it should be used for it's intended purpose. This knife is also beautiful and will most certainly serve its purpose well.
You guys are awesome designing knives. From the sketching to production. Stay safe and healthy my friends 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 P. S. if you have time make another cooking video 😂
Nice video guys! I have many of your wonderful knives here in Canada including a one-off Arno did for me a few years back with a beautiful burl handle. Hope to see you the next time we visit South Africa.
Fabulous! I have several of your knives! I purchased a nice trout and bird style one for a dear friend , as well with his initials engraved on it. Btw I love custom knives and very few of them do quality leather work like you folks!!!
Enjoyed the video! As a knife maker myself I am familiar with the process and the similarities. I have a couple of your knives and anxiously waiting on the Imamba! Would like to see a folding knife video as I haven’t tried one yet. Your knives are awesome! Especially the Rhinkhal!
Beautifully made knife with a top quality sheath as well, great job! I’d certainly like to have it in my kitchen, loved watching every stage of it being made, you’ve put together a great video. Regards from Down Under.
A very interesting video to see the whole process from the very beginning till the end! It is art and your skilled craftsmanship is awesome. How long did it take you producing this beautiful knife? Would be glad to win it! And did you ever hurt your fingers while the various grinding steps?
@@ridhwaanjogiat1708 It depends on what finish we want. A mirror finish we do not sand further like this knife. With a satin finish we sand it on the belt with a very fine grit
I notice the words in one of the songs playing during your video goes, “we are born again “. Is this a Christian song? Are you Christian people, believers? You all seem such decent types I just wondered.
Congrats to Angel Saliba for winning the knife. commentpicker.com/youtube.php?id=ycp_60dde1f01ec26348

Is that rice that you put the knives in? Also where do you guys get your canvas micarta from?
It is ceremic cylinders. We bought it from Masecraft.
@@arnobernard-knivesfoodafri1804 thanks, so does any handsanding take place after the cylinder process?
