hello voo what can i learn from gosuacademy
is that the preangle map i need that preangle thing map pls
8:24 What is the map name? I want to set bots like that and prefire them
@vooCSGO yeah, what's the map name @8:24? looks super useful.
My boy AustinCS getting some good recognition he deserves
You know, the very first time I saw the name “AustinCS” in my feed I legit thought it was “austincts”, as in a portmanteau of the words “autism” and “instincts”. Yeah…
That would be a pretty dope name though if you were autistic and good at gaming
So glad you posted hyped for what you’re cooking up for cs2
this is like the first page he got recognition from lol. pretty sure they’re friends.
@@volify_ naw. the scene has been showing him a bit more love lately fs
@@garywinthorp4387 I meant voo has had austin on the channel like years ago.
imagine paying for csgo skill
90% of the game does XD
People pays for skins...
not you having a 120hz monitor, we can talk about paying for skill when you play on a 30hz TV on speakers
so many times when i try to analyze the micro aspect of why i died or lost a particular duel the answer comes down to subpar movement in some aspect or another. i've been working at it and have seen a lot of improvement but it has taken a LOT of conscious effort. great video
Playing with people you know, who are better at the game than you is always good too, because I get my friend to point out when I do bad movement, dumb crosshair placement etc, and that's been the biggest thing, as sometimes noticing my own flaws is hard, but having it pointed out by someone who isn't being a dick about it, really helped me (:
heyyyyyy its lasagne
@@shamrooooock we love voo here at lasagne enterprises.
can you really call him a real friend if he isnt being a dick about it?@@MechaPlays
As a newbie CSGO player I thought getting my aim perfect was the difference between me and higher ranks. Then when I started playing higher ranks I realized even if my aim was great...it's just harder to hit them for some reason. That's when I realized all of these different little practices they have that make them hard to hit. Unfortunately my teammates are still wailing every time they get prefired while they're just standing in one place holding an angle and hoping that works out.
Positioning and good utility usage is probably more important than just focusing on aim. Maybe going for difficult shots and commiting aggressive plays only when it makes sense, 1v3 or deagle buys etc. Obviously good crosshair placement helps
02:20 dont stand completely still when coming in contact with enemy (keep moving between shots)
03:18 utilize peeker's advantage (in combo with pre-aim)
03:45 examples of peeking well
04:22 God-like peeking from ropz
05:10 max speed peeking
05:35 don't shoot while holding W
07:42 definition of Xantares peek from austin-cs
I remember seeing 1:53 live, dude is cracked out of his galaxy brain
He got robbed from the play of the year or play of the major whatever it was too :(
A video on duel movement is something I’ve wanted explained from this channel thank you Mr. Voo
I love how your videos are always in depth!
Thanks for having me in the video voo!
that was better than i though it was gonna be voo, i thought the vid was basically gonna be the same as the other 5 movement vids you've made. good shit.
Hyped for more content for cs2 from u !
Omg voo i played with u way back in source amazing to see u doing well
Very well worded thank you, hopefully this helps me get out of silver
Return of my fav cs2 coach, time to get leave mg baby!(silver 4 in mirage, dust 2 and inferno, about to stop playing🥲)
I started yesterday and holy moly, I gotta learn this
bro the little "pew pew pew" sound effects for the scream clip 🤣🤣
gotta love fl0m
asked to show xantares peek and says "wanna see a fl0m peek"
that's my streamer
I just need an experienced player that is willing to not be a dick 😂 I learn so much from the trash talk on my bad plays, wonder what it'd be if I wasn't stressed at the same time
if you're actively focused on your mechanics that actually helps lower your stress levels. When you're stressed you start doing things without thinking, but if you're trying to pay attention to how you move and aim and clear angles then you'll also be calmer, because your brain is more focused on all of these different aspects.
@@ishaan863 I also find that when I play for the first time after a while, I am way cleaner mechanically for that reason... when I'm playing often, I am always thinking about the multifrag opportunities or just overthinking in general
one very simple concept i learned from another video (I assume is talked about in this as well, haven't watched it yet) is this: press W as seldomly as you possibly can. I stopped peaking anything with the W key involved. I position myself in a way that I can peak with A or D. then move in cover and position again to peak with A or D. of course you have to still use it here and there. but if you keep this in mind at every corner, you will do a lot better very quickly. of course it's not that helpful if you don't learn and practice counterstrafing since that's the actual key but it's a great start.
I figured out that thing n0thing mentioned too. I went into a DM and basically let my opponent take the first shot. Surprisingly often you get a free kill on an immobile enemy that way.
My boy retnuhhh getting the recognition he deserves shoutout him
Hey Voo, can I ask what is the map called that you are using at 8:30? It looks like YPrac, but I was under the impression that hasn't been implemented in CS2.
it is refrag
I saw that simple video that other day. Good advice
I've had this discussion with so many players i've coached. I mention their bad movement and how it's effecting them. They always hit me with "but I can make x jump". Unfortunately, we're in a situation where KZ movement has infiltrated the minds of the newer players in the game. I ALWAYS send people to watch 1 NiKo demo on T side, and they come back understanding what i mean. He has perfect movement, which is..... 70-80% why he has amazing aim.
Good video man
I’ve always understood a xantares peek to mean a good pre aim and max speed. So like voo touched on with ropz, you want to back up from the corner enough that you hit max speed as you’re peeking
It’s incredible what throwing a random crouch or pre firing a angle can do (in Lower ranks pre fires are so damn good because a lot of people just walk into them atleast in my experience)
Sick a CS2 movement video with a bunch of old CSGO movement references!
man jump peeking with awp in source was so fun (for the peeker)
n0thing's drill is amazing
noway this guy is the peekers advantage dude, still going strong i see. i get nostalgia from 2015/2016 times
Man old nuke sounded way different than I remember.
Voo missed your new contents man ! Thanks for your great educational contents , Best free coaching content you ll ever find Online .
voo is back at it again,!!!!
This might be my favorite vid from you
Damn he posted Nice
MOM voo uploaded another video!
very good video :) i needed to hear this
2:37 "pew pew, pew pew pew" had me dying lol
@6:46 silent peek posted twice.
still a very helpful and informative video
yeah i noticed that after the first render but that's literally an OBS recording that i edited zooms into and i didn't want to have to go back and edit it again lmao
i forgot to add the uncrouch peek (like you can do on t stairs on inferno, go to the angle crouched then stand up into the shot) to the list so that's what should be there instead
lol all good, man. you the GOAT cs coach! thanks for another sweet post and quick reply! @@vooCSGO
my favourite cs pro zanterez is gonna be so proud
voo! Had 3k hours in CSGO and just downloaded cs2 searching for tips and a familiar name popped up, perfect timing.
I’ve been meaning to try the no shoot drill, I get bad nerves and often jump my cross hair when I see someone
Babe wake up new voo video just dropped
im just a dirty silver player but to elaborate on xanteres peek,
its a peek at full speed if your holding close to an angle you wont get it up to the right speed, you have to start farther away from the angle than you usually do
Hello! these videos have been super helpful for newbies like me! I was just wondering where you find these maps you play on where there are bots in positions so you can practice peeking and where to aim? I am in Australia so i don't know if that makes any difference but I can't seem to find anything like this. Are you able to send a link on where to download or how to access them? :)
Good channel that explains well. Sub'd!
thaanks soooo much i hit a one tap fast peak while watching this video
he's backkkkk
A big problem I see with the way my teammates peek (maybe perpetuated by the xantares peek), is everyone peeks waaay too close to the wall/corner. You should be maximizing your distance from the corner. It will minimize the amount of time your on the enemy screen. If your closer to the corner you will appear to move faster but the enemy sees your arm before you have completely rounded the corner.
Oh my.... well that explains A LOT!!! Ive been playing cs2 like were playing cs 1.6 or source. lol....
Voo came out of hiding finally!!
I was gonna study but then voo uploded
Sorry for my dumb question, but where is the part where you show how to “peek like this” with the key combos shown in the thumbnail?
you make funny videos that i enjoy watching
8:14 my usual experience when xantares peeking
I am very newba so thanks for the vid mate
This video is a piece of art, we missed you voocs2, glad you're back !
Holy shit a voo video
lol we went from "peek from as far as possible from the corner so you can retreat more safely and commit less" to "hug the wall and jump far from the corner to surprise your opponent".
ig i had cs2 meta understanding back in 1.6, had to unlearn it because everyone said it was stupid, and nowadays im worse than i used to be (stuck in low ranks when i was mge at my peak). feels like now the meta is just camping and covering angles, at least thats what i see everyone do that doesnt die as fast as me.

wtf bro did you kill me there? 1:39
Starting 8:24, how to make the bots stand in those positions for practice, is it availble for any maps?

its quite hard to start gaming at 28 yo, but fun all the time while improving step by step
What ist the name of the workshop map in cs2 to practice vs bots where they are standing in positions where normal people stands? as it was shown at the end of the clip
I dont like sharing tips to random players i dont play with or am actively investing in - but ill bite. Your peek is meant to stop on as tight of an angle as you can while preaiming to take the shot on the pixel you stop. Whether you wide swing or tight stop is based on your own Time To Kill and whether the enemy holds tight or reactive wide. I think one thing people miss is they tend to over pre aim. Youre more likely to hit a shot swinging out to the right while under pre aiming your enemy to the left so when you full stop your crosshair is just before landing on the enemy - thus landing on the enemy when your brain sends the signal to fire to your hand. Theres been speculation from pros regarding hitting a shot with zero mouse movement (ie shooting when they peek you) and being more likely to hit a shot while moving your crosshair and shooting mid flick. A lot has changed regarding stutter step accuracy viability and running accuracy from csgo to cs2. Running accuracy is insane if youre full A strafe or full D strafe. Viable even with deagle as long as you apply a upward flick from chest level to head level at a distance of around 3/4s an inch on your monitor. These examples however are all variable applications in the sense that each person has their own play style and applies themselves and what works in different ways. As a take away that i dont see many people touch on, if you are full running and get armor punched and thus stunned, your first shot is nearly 90% accurate, just work on your flicks and the commitment to the first bullet, subsequent bullet is recoil based and the next one is dependant on if you started to move again. - This video seems to be in regards to peoples pathing however, suggesting too many people move in a straight line towards where an enemy might peek you...
Double bhop wide peek with awp 👍
xantares peek is any peek done by xantares
Voo how do you get the mirage map with bots positioned on all the angles can't find it online anywhere
Several times during "good peeks" from the opponents' view I didn't even see the peeker yet before they died. Like wtf? I haven't played CS2, and only a dozen or so hours in CS:GO, but during my years of playing CS 1.6 I don't think this was ever a thing in there... Or at least to such a noticeable degree.
I tell new players that too, take the split second to hit your shot instead of panicking when you see someone, because odds are at your low elo that other person is going to miss a lot on you as well.
8:25 I want this map!!!!
Whats the song that plays at 1:01, I am dying to remember the name of it.

Thanksssss
how can i practice vs bots like in the video when started at 8:22
the thing I find really hard about movement is getting a sense of velocity. always feels like my character is dragging along accelerating or decelerating. i know this is about good counterstrafing and pathing. how do I get a better feel for this? these vods look so crisp, but even when I spend a lot of time ypracing nothing happens
so in csgo there was counter strafing in gunfights is that no longer good to use because i just got back in cs after a year of not playing and now it looks like enemys are running and gunning
@voocsgo what workshop map is at 8:30?
My problem is that after years of play I know how to peek properly, but I have no patience. I'll take the quickest route just because I can't be bothered waiting and playing angles properly.
thats just your mental problem. if you are like this just go play cod
