Legit there was a guy back in the day at my lan center who had 10,000 hours on scoutzknives only 2.5 years after 1.6(steam) launched. This is at a lan center.... so no idle time. He did not own a PC at home.
Important to say that scout is like dmr with main idea to deal dmg. Dealing dmg is underrated in cs, but actually it changes how enemy continue to play after being hit. Another point is that your movement speed is much higher compare to regular guna and sure awp which makes places with two side peaks insane for scouter.
That's why I love scouting because even if I don't multi-kill every time with the scout, I typically hit at least two people for over 70 making them easy kills for my teammates.
Often have people call me bottom frag or noob due to less kills when I've been tagging 2 or 3 people every round, farming assists and having the most adr. So many people don't register how useful the scout's damage is. Definitely can't rely on a 5 stack of scouts though.
Played against scoutercs in MM (GE) on Dust 2, when he doesn't use scout, hes an ok player, aint that good. Clowned on him a couple times. But then he took out his scout and i felt an impending feeling of doom every time we went mid. Ended up in one of his videos, even though we won the game. His scout skills is legit.
Been subbed to Scouter for a while. He made me try to scout and get my favorite scout again ( center heart dark water ). But my scout games go nowhere like his do. He is super skilled and deserves the coverage he is getting now. Awesome video as always man!
the only difference between you and him is that he kept on trying and kept spamming the scout in every situation. It might take you longer but I promise you - you will be as good as him. He just had the determination to do it.

You forgot to mention how sick his montages are. I also think that a esports org should sign him because he makes great content and there aren't many this unique and skilled csgo content creators like him out there.
the Scout is highly underrated in my opinion. if you know what you´re doing, its just as deadly as an AWP but without the loss in mobility, mag size and noise across the map

Scout is a good (budget) gun, ScouterCS is sick, but the problem with scouting is consistency, especially when several enemies just rush your position or when you need to push as T or retake the other site as CT.
I wish you talked more about his actual mechanics he uses to make this work and compared to pros more. Also, this guy needs to be in a show match for the blast finals. If you got the connects hook him up!

Ive been obsessed with Scouter and old PhantomLex for a long time now, I used to do scout only for a bit, then I stopped playing cs. Now Im playing cs again, and back to scout only. You cannot imagine my surprise when I see this in my recommended
I was a Scout only player back in 1.5/1.6. It was an absolute blast. I quit CS when Source came out but still have fond memories. Such a rush getting clutch kills with Scout in CQC situations. Ever since then I’ve gravitated towards the more high skill cieling non-meta weapons in games.
There’s 2 things I don’t understand: 1: Austin’s rush cuz idk how he survived for so long. He pushed the molly🔥 and could’ve gotten bodyshot sooo easily, Scouter just whiffed. Austin sounds like that push was a nobrainer when it was kinda stupid. 2: Why does voo say u have to strafe mid air? U should just strafe and press jump at the same time and just hit the timing for the jumpshot. That’s much easier cuz it actually works consistently unlike the jump strafe. And yes, I think I know more bout this cuz I‘ve played Scout Only for 1,5k hours now.
I also play mostly scout only as you can see in my montage and you're spot on, the fast movement makes for great aggressive rifling type playstyle. Baiting your enemy to stand still with jiggle peaks and then wide swing for easy headshots
I also play scout only and the part about the game not being fun played normally is so true there's just something about scouting that is so much more fun than everything else in csgo

So funny seeing the WR% across maps for scouter. For years I basically only used the scout and only played on D2, hadn't heard of scouter, but D2 is the most fun map for the scout because of all the open space, narrow areas, and wallbangs. If you have good object permanence and 3d spatial awareness (for the wallbangs, etc) there are few things more fun that the scout.
I used to love the scout so much back in the day, then they nerfed the jumping scout and I just couldn't get along with it. Nice to see people still doinking with the thing.
It's a good skill. A lot of it is very transferrable to good deagling as well. I really think it's actually kind of a great weapon-if your team's sniper can scout and awp, there really shouldn't be any round where you worry about being beaten on the long angle they play. That can be huge. I have a friend who is a great scouter for his rank, and ironically, it was on Nuke, but he had outside completely shut down. He didn't want the AWP, it would prevent him from hitting fast moving headshots on their AWPer. Money efficient, held his position, basically unstoppable out there, forced the T's to play A and Ramp every round.

Scout is the ultimate fool's weapon. It feels so nice hitting those headshots but for 99% of players, a galil or an mp9 will be way more valuable. I hate it when my teammates buy scouts 😂

I started using scout because of scouter. More just for training it but not much in games. Soon enough I started using it on ecos/half buys from time to time and it made a huge difference. Especially on dust 2. Getting 2-3 kill on eco early in the round helped quite a lot.

The trick is good util. You can throw flashes through the skylights and also out of hut door as you come out. If your team doesn't know the skylight flashes, flash out of hut and pray that they aren't ready for it.

I have a friend that I play with almost daily. he is scout only. One of the best perks of having him on my team is that he is always willing to find or buy guns to drop me at the round start.
What I am wondering is if - with bigger rosters - it would be worth to adopt a scouter role on Dust2 for example. One massive upside to this that you didn't touch on too much is the economy. With one player playing scout only and being formidable with it you have better odds of winning the low buys, and you can almost always bring out the awp during buy rounds and have a more stable economy in general. Food for thought
jumpscouting in csgo is a massive misconception, you do not fire at the peak of the jump, you fire JUST BEFORE it. So for example, when you jump: as your character is coming to a stop in the air you want to shoot JUST BEFORE the apex of your jump. Youll find your shots to be more consistent this way, scouter is probably just so used to the timing that it feels natural to them and they dont really notice when to shoot anymore.
I used to olay with this guy who was scout and deagle only player on cs1.6 and cs:s and bro was absolutely insane! There was this 24/7 cs_office and cs_assault server that was huge back then and this guy used to dominate those maps with a scout while on ct side (both maps are heavily t sided maps). Legit one of the best snipers ive ever seen on cs and that's including pros like prime Kenny s.

There are only one "double doors" on dust2, the ones to a long. The rest are doors. Correct me, but I saw that often in mythbusting videos. Or it is the right call only for long. Not sure atm. Btt: I am not scoutercs, but the last 2 years I played only scout and I love it. (1 scout with 17.5k and another with 15.5k kills) With its zoom it is a long range weapon, with its power a mid range weapon and if you are good at nozoom (monitor with crosshair function can help a lot) it is a fckn good shotgun. With the shotguns in CS you have to hit the head for killing instantly, as it is with scout. BUT I don't think aim is that important, it is much more having a good preaim and sense where "heads can stand". The little adjustments if someone crouches for example are not good aim, just good reaction time over very little distance. I love that video, thought it is a new scouter video, it is a boo scoutter video. That is Christmas and birthday in one. :D
I got to supreme with my scout only account years ago and dipped in and out of global. Him and Scout Training were great fuel and current nostalgia. I was always an awp main but loved the movement with scout the scout. Even in 1.6 I played the shit out of scout knives. Good times.

There are only one "double doors" on dust2, the ones to a long.
The rest are doors.

I am not scoutercs, but the last 2 years I played only scout and I love it. (1 scout with 17.5k and another with 15.5k kills)
With its zoom it is a long range weapon, with its power a mid range weapon and if you are good at nozoom (monitor with crosshair function can help a lot) it is a fckn good shotgun. With the shotguns in CS you have to hit the head for killing instantly, as it is with scout.
BUT I don't think aim is that important, it is much more having a good preaim and sense where "heads can stand".
The little adjustments if someone crouches for example are not good aim, just good reaction time over very little distance.

I got to supreme with my scout only account years ago and dipped in and out of global. Him and Scout Training were great fuel and current nostalgia. I was always an awp main but loved the movement with scout the scout. Even in 1.6 I played the shit out of scout knives. Good times.
