John Easton It is possible at all to "see" fish on sonar that are really tight to bottom in rivers for this reason? 200 or 50 khz? I just haven´t find a way to do this (Im talking about European zander, fish that usually hug the bottom in 2-6 meters of depth here in Croatia)

The oust side of the 50kHz cone is further away from the transducer than the actual bottom.
