3:34 yes I game I love playing Doom Eternal and similar type games, and I'm pretty good at it. I actually prefer it for doom cause I can use my number layer (it's similar to numpad for the left had) to pick any of the 8 guns with the same effort in the heat of the battle. But also before switching to ortholinear layout I didn't realize how much I was missing keys all the time, like hitting X instead of the C or Z instead of the X, simply because it's all slanted to the side for no reason.
I've gamed on this for a year and I switched back to a normal keyboard layout recently. I gotta say that I am now straining on a normal layout. The planck was the most comfortable layout I've ever experienced gaming on a keyboard. it just takes time to adjust, but once you do it feels very natural. Now I wish someone makes a full size ortholinear keyboard since I am studying programming now and I want those extra keys without having to switch layers.
Hi. I have also recently got the same oblk planck keyboard and I have been trying to find a tutorial video on how to remap the key using the QMK configurator as I have been trying to map bottom left key to something as by default it does not do anything. I would appreciate if you would teach me how to use the configurator properly as I tried it many times but does not seem to do anything.

Yeah the slant vs linear layout still confuses me a times but that’s probably from muscle memory. Thanks for your detailed experience
Love the special effects!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I’ve seen a few places build full ortho boards but cost too much for me to want to get in on it.
ahh yes keyboard content 😍
Click clack thock thock
That's a very compact keyboard for sure but I love it
Yup it’s a great one!

Hey there, I had ran into a similar issues and I recall I think I had to set it to use it as a modifier 3 instead of 1 or 2.
Just wait till you find the 40s discord 😂
Ohhh nooo I don’t even want to think about it…
