    This style of commentary with 3 talking about all shot options is best I have ever heard. More like this please!

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the banter in the booth, so much fun creative aggression being discussed. The game of One Pocket has progressively became more aggressive since 2011 thanks to Corey and Scott's mentality and influence on the game.

    I`m a snooker player and i sometimes play 9-ball or 14.1, so i also know a bit about playing pool, but it would take me ages to figure out the shots and tactics for this game. Very interesting to watch! Thx for uploading.

    Thank you TheActionReport for posting this video. Give Efren an opening and you're done. He's a predator for sure. Lots of ideas in the commentary. But they should've also had a little more commentary on Efren's options, just to compare how they think and how Efren thinks.

    The game is missing a great money making opportunity... having three great analyses that are entertaining to listen to, two excellent one pocket players matching up and accurate up to the second score keeping for the spectator is how your improve this games popularity.... in my opinion

    Billy Incardona is a top expert on one pocket. To listen to him talk strategy is a real education. If you are a serious one pocket player you will recognize it. If you do not comprehend his logic or you are not an A player then I understand that you are bored. "It takes two to speak the truth. One to speak it and another to recognize it as truth"!

      Yes Billy is one of the Classic Best at what he does. Your Insight is great. If you played the game long enough, it's easy to catch on what the commentators think or what are the plans of the players. Great Insight

      @jadezee6316 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it does not take 2 to speak truth and that doesnt even make sense whe n you claim the other one is only listening....jeez.....but for the rest......speaking truth..does not have to be recognized to be truth...how many people you heard say.."if i only knew then what i know now?"

    they're just jokin around... corey doesn't always catch up with billy and frost but that's how some people with extraordinary intelligence works, in my eyes corey is almost the john f. nash of pool, very very smart player. i bet that if he went wholeheartedly for one pocket he would soon be one of the top 5 players, with his creativity and all.
    i like these commentators but put rodney morris there instead of frost and it'll be a real laugh, that guy's very funny

    Gentile seemed way too passive/conservative in the first game. If you're playing Efren Reyes and you get a decent shot, you'd better take it. You can't just keep trying to duck him forever, because he's better at moving than you are.

    Can someone explain the shot at 41:26. If I were shooting that spot shot I would bank it into or near my pocket but I've seen this come up several times, in videos of people that actually play well, where the player just banks it up table to their side.

  • @jonfeltman2314

    These days there are more cameras and multiple angles on the better live streams. And Frost would lose 7days a week and twice on Sunday to Efren in Reyes' prime in one pocket or any cue sport Scott would like to play. The fact that all 3 commentators are trying to peer into the mind of a genius is amusing quite frankly... Deuel is a witch in his own right, very creative.

  • @golfingmadeeasy
    @golfingmadeeasy 12 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    There is an old, but still pettinent, rule in commentating: tell the viewer/fan something that he can't see with his own eyes. For example, when the match starts, I can see that the cue ball is between the two ball and the six ball. Tell me something else.

  • @roo7227
    @roo7227 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If the score were reversed, Reyes may have chosen your shot, but being up 7-4, there's no need to shoot at your hole, which the only good result would be to make it.. Missing it leaves it in play for your opponent to make, and shooting the offensive shot can lead to letting the cue ball go, which is never good.. One pocket isn't just a collection of shots.. It's decision making, and understanding how and when to apply pressure.. Understanding when to back off is important, as well..

    Scott says "I understand", "yes", "you're right" about fifty times because he knows that, otherwise, Billy's ego will explode again. It doesn't matter how smart Billy is, his ego makes him an awful commentator.

  • @ONEpocketKID21
    @ONEpocketKID21 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I like all three of these guys but there is a reason Corey is a much more decorated player. Scott and Billy need to get their money up and get up there and play Corey for the cash and then they will see just how "realistic" some of his shots are. Don't think for one second that Corey can't play one pocket!!

  • @roo7227
    @roo7227 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I disagree, one pocket is simple mathematics.. Or, if it is, it's much deeper than that.. You'd never win a single game if you waited around for 4:1 the best of it, before you shoot at your hole.. Sure, it's about odds, but it's about implied odds, too.. Sometimes you shoot at your hole cause it's free, sometimes cause you can run out behind it, if you make it, and sometimes you're flat out forced to shoot at your hole..

      I earnestly think this is one of the most insightful and funny matches ever. It's EXCELLENT.
      No one said ANYTHING arrogant or egotistical. They're talking about their level of confidences...which is to say, how they map their model of reality in to decision theory.
