All cameramen and producers: _Never_ switch cameras mid-shot. You have to go to the full-table view _before_ the ball is struck. Otherwise it's extremely hard for viewers to follow the shot.

This is truly a game of chess played on a pool table! Great match.

Billy's commentary is second to none. This 'Efrum' business has got to stop. What kind of commentator doesn't know Reyes first name? How has he gone his whole life as a pool player never clueing in...? It's uncanny.

+Ben Lanteigne Incardona is a hall of famer for his commentary alone, forget that he was a world class player. never gonna see a better commentator.

I remember this match with the computer curser sitting right over Efren's pocket. I thought for a bit it was a glint of light off a ball hanging in the pocket and couldn't understand how it didn't get knocked in, lol.

Part 2 score says Gentile had 0 games to 3. So I don't get it. When they should be tied, it's 2-3.

I have OCD, so I had to mute it thanks to Larry's constant mis-pronunciation of Efren's name. After that I could actually concentrate on the match and enjoyed it thoroughly ;)

WOW, the "old age" cost of thinking you only needed that one ball to win (with which I can easily relate), Gentile REALLY came back that game with some really nice touch shots and good conservative play. Looked pretty much awful up to that point, and then pretty darned Impressive and consistent for the game win. Later, the side pocket tit hit was unfortunate, but the kick scratch near the end was just brutal. He wasn't totally consistent, but played really well for a good part of the match. At this level, one or two bad mistakes and it's probably over, especially against someone like Efren. Not bad, all around, though, I thought.
A couple of days ago one of the amateurs (a REALLY good one, IMHO) was playing Justin Hall, and I asked "Are you playing him even/". He said "Are you kidding?" I was, but thought it was kind of funny. Later Justin made a really fine out run on a somewhat messed up table layout where he had some work to do, and I told him, Man, you don't get "nice out" for ANYTHING, everyone just expects it. He smiled.
I just sit there awe struck watching the shots he finds, attempts, and converts at a WAY higher percentage than I would think possible, combination kick caroms off the rack, and the like. Not in my realm of pool shooting, not by a LONG shot. Fun to watch, and amazing. ;-)
Thx for posting, you guys do a great job, and Cardona is ALWAYS great commentary.

@18:15 - Reyes pockets the red 3-ball, but the cue ball does not hit a cushion. Gentile asks if that isn't a foul.
I understand that there are local rules, and maybe pocketing a ball counts as a ball striking a cushion after the
object ball is hit. The announcer missed the controversy entirely. What do you think? Did Reyes foul on that
    shot on the 3-ball?
