but where's his SOUL today? God's Hand was in Ali's fate. HE said 'put no other god before Me,' and 'i will not share My glory...' [exod. 20 and isaiah 42 respectively]. Ali stated in interview that his goal was to convert THIRTY THOUSAND people to muslim/islam religion. how does that make Jesus Christ Who died for the world's sins and illness feel? was His death in vain?! and all for The Great Deceiver?!

His daughters book “ At Home with Mohammad Ali” , which I just finished reading, is a beautiful , poignant, loving book of Ali as a caring, playful, doting father. It was so heartwarming, I cried many times throughout. His divorce from Veronica, she asked for, was unbearable for him. His many love letters showed how much he wanted to try again. It was so sad to read. It’s a great book if you want to see another side of the great Ali.

People dont realise just how huge a celebrity he was at the time of this video. Honesty he was probably the most famous man in the world. He was not formally educated, but far more intelligent than he let on, but also far more naive too...I hope his soul is resting in peace...

I'm from hamburg and Jurgen Blin several times visited the gym I used to went. He had been barkeeper for about 30 years in a small pub called „Jurgen Blins Box-Theke“ you could find directly beside the mainstation subway lines. I think he did a great job in this fight. He is still famous like anybody who can be proud in having been the opponent of the greatest and most famous athlete of the 20th century and the smartest and funniest fighter of all times... Watching Ali joking and showboating always makes me feel good and easy. Love that guy. God bless him.

Your reply proves MF Doom’s comment.
Ali was a Black man and was proud.
You define yourself as white, but none of this is about you or your feelings.
You have a choice as to wether or not to define yourself by your color. Others have had that choice made for them for centuries.
If you consider him a hero, great.
But you can’t choose how define him.
His power, his Black Masculinity, is what made white folks uncomfortable. And it seems that it still does.

Well, when he was in high school, more than a few colleges were interested him for football since he was a great all-around athlete. The man was 6’3 and 220 lbs in his prime. Some big 10 coach thought Ali would’ve been the ULTIMATE tight end because of his size and speed. If he HAD played, the guys In Ali’s age range who redefined the position-namely Mike Ditka and John Mackey-might’ve been omitted from NFL lore. He could’ve been Kellen Winslow, Sr. 10-15 years BEFORE Kellen Winslow, Sr.

@@kevinnewton5460 that's right but you can just forget about Floyd Mayweather being the greatest defensive boxers of all time. Mayweather is undefeated. You can say the same for Muhammad Ali. That's why I said he's the Greatest of that era and Floyds the G.O.A.T in this era/generation. And you can't forget about Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson would've knocked Muhammad Ali to sleep if he was in Ali's era. Then you got Roy Jones Jr who was arguably one of the greatest in his prime. C'mon now my guy. You are missing the point. There is always gonna be a G.O.A.T in every generation. I'll even put Deontey Wilder up there even tho he lost some fights. But he still has time to redeem himself. He's still young. Oh and last thing I would like to mention once Mayweather beats Logan Paul then there is nothing else for Mayweather to prove to anybody at all. He's gonna beat his brother as well. And whoever else wants to catch those hands. Those are TH-camrs, not professional fighters at all.

This is the story about a man
of a powerful punch and blinding speed.
    He talks a lot indeed,
With iron fists and a beautiful tan. The boxing game was slowly dying.
And fight promoters were bitterly crying
For someone somewhere to come along
With a better and different tone.
Patterson was dull, quiet and sad,
And Sonny Liston was just as bad.
Along came a kid named Cassius Clay,
Who said, "I'll take Liston's title away."
His athletic genius cannot be denied.
    In a very short time,
    He spread far and wide.
    There's an impression you get
    Watching him fight.
    He plays cat and mouse.

    Then turns out the light.
This colorful fighter is something to see.
    And the Greatest Heavyweight Champion
I know he will be. -Muhammad Ali

I am as huge an Ali as anyone ever, but that is not true. Boxing was in much better shape before Ali than it is today. Before Ali, everyone in America and the whole world, in general, knew the name of the Heavyweight champ. Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, and Floyd Patterson were heroes to millions. But Ali took boxing to a much higher level, of course. Now, very few people, less than one percent, I am sure, know the name of the heavyweight champ - even though there are probably three or four people all claiming to be champ at the present time..

At that time also they had a little knowledge. Mt. Everest is in Nepal. And so sad Mohammad Ali didn’t get to climb a part of it. He didn’t climb the Everest but he sure climbed the Everest of his life. He got to the top. Respect.

I was alive during this. Ali is/was the greatest American patriot ever. Followed by LBJ and MLK. For all you younger people THIS was when America was great and we were making big big steps towards “liberty and justice for all”. Alexandria Ocassio-Cortez and her friends in congress and the senate are coming on strong now. And don’t forget Maxine Waters. Thank God.

This was post retired Ali after the Frazier lost he went on a tear 10 strait wins from July 71~Feb73 that’s an absurd 19 month stretch that’s 1 fight every 2 months insane.. 29-30yr old Ali here.. He Lost to Norton March 73 then went on another 14 fight win streak during a 48 month stretch from Sept 73 to Sept 77 defeating Forman, Fraizer 2wice, Norton 2wice, Lyle, Shavers, Wepner and a host of other all time greats from the Golden Era.. That’s 24-1 during a 6 year stretch all post Ali v Frazier 1.. He was technically out of his physical prime..Ali had 2 different Hall of Fame careers during The 60s and 70s yet still missed his best years from 25-28 He’s the Universal Boxing Goat for a reason..
