Another statement that makes this true is Xavier shiller is still alive and in OG he’s dead, and here he doesnt look like Xene in which in OG he does. Also there wasnt the FFI in this timeline as well. Here Aiden is also still alive which we know in OG he’s dead
It has been years since the original version, they didn't exactly have enough to work with over a song that could only be played once in this new series.
the fact that "splash guard" isn't a "Hand" Move or "meteor strike" a "drop" move in the dub shows that almost nobody in the translation team had any contact with inazuma eleven before...
My best guess is that for the previous seasons, all the hissatsu names were translated by Level-5’s localization game studio and then the names were passed to the anime dub studios. But the Ares game never made it to the localization phase so they let the dub studio pick the names.
Everyone is saying this sucked, and when people said it didn't suck they got harassed. It's pretty good in my opinion. I am semi-fluent in Japanese and think the Japanese is more cringe than the English sometimes! But I do agree the Japanese has more energy. Like, if you said any of the Japanese names' translations in the street, you'd get bullied. I think some bits of the dub are good and some bits are not. It's done more professionally than the original dub, but I'm not sure which one I prefer anymore. I'd like to think the downfall is the voice actors corresponding with the characters. My personal favourite voices are Adriano's and Cesar's - they are probably the most fun and accurate voices I've heard. Obviously, not having the same voice actors for characters that were in the original seasons is a shame, but they could have at least got someone who sounds similar to the original voices. Mark, Bryce, Jordan and Hunter's voices are completely different and that puts me off, but to a first-time viewer it seems like it might pass well. The only thing I hate about the Ares dub is the singers of the songs. Some of the lyrics aren't that cringe, they just need someone who can actually sing. But maybe that would take the 'series for children' part away from it. That's just my two pence. Or maybe a pound. I wasn't expecting to write that much! ^^'

Ares had probably the worst names, mostly because they are just puns(sonny wright= sunny light). The English dub of ares is the best anime one (belive it or not), because the other seasons were so bad, that I would not even class them as fandubs, because some fandubs have way better quality, the games dubs were also pretty bad (with go having the worst and the american version of the first game having the best). So I fully understand why you want there to be none lol

Only issue is some of the names for hissatsu techniques suck like Cold Snap (seriously?) and that calling it football when the VAs were all American was pretty weird but other than that I did look forward to watching the weekly episodes again.

The Inazuma eleven goalie is a mockery of the recent goalie the legendary Mark Evans. Mark Evans was like her but he developed quickly but her development is very bad.

Im a Filipino and the English dub ain't that horrible bad, however they have some lame names such as fire rooster, the dub for flame weather vane or in Japanese honoo no kazamidori, even fuujin Rankin, in English translation is wind god thunder god but they called it mega ma in even if the two majins are the same size as ma in the hand, why not double majin or double divine the hand, luckily they did not changed the name of the classics such as god hand or death zone, another one is wall for one which some comments say that it is similar to a quirk in my hero academia, it might be just a coincidence but seriously wall for one, the original name is rensa the wall, why not crushing wall or the supreme wall.
