    I have the Deep Trip Hellbender and now I want the Page Bender. Sounds great in the video.

      Thanks! I can really recommend the Page Bender. Different enough from the Hellbender I think 😉

      They're fairly similar, yeah? When I first heard the PB, I thought it sounded like a HB, just revoiced/biased to handle mid gain ranges.The Page thing seemed to be about less pedal clipping and more amp volume; that's what I hear, anyway, - cleaner than many people often represent.Part of it was the amps he was using; Hiwatts, in particular ,are a specific sound; I used a 100 for years, and it was actually hard to overdrive.

    What a coincidence - I have a Deep Trip BOG in transit, should arrive Tuesday. The sounds in your video let me look even more forward to playing it - it’s proof that Deep Trip knows its sh** pretty well 👍 I should get the Bender, too.

      Absolutely! Felt like a bit of a gamble, since there are not a lot of videos out there, at least not in English. But honestly, I really love it, it's great! Let me know how you like the BOG. I feel like this won't be my last Deep Trip pedal...

      I have both... They are fantastic! But they come from a small company and small prodution in Brazil. So its dificult to go hype...

      @@rodolfosrb3868 The world is pretty global nowadays, I see no hindrance for a great company to excel, no matter where they come from. Deep Trip totally deserves it! Just take a look at Sabbadius and Jam Pedals…they did it 👍🙏🔥

    Hey dude, finally good demo of this pedal. Thanks. Sounds very good... it's close to what I'm looking for. Thanks for an inspiration.

      That's great to hear and glad I could be of help! 🙂 I've had this pedal since December last year and it's still my favorite fuzz, so much fun to play and so inspiring. I can honestly highly recommend it!

    it IS THE tone of the zepp debut album. I've been looking for that decades. Impressive at all!

      It really is, and also has all the sounds of the second album, and so much more than that. This is such a great and versatile fuzz!

    Glad to see that stuff being recognized abroad. Deep trip fuzzes are amazing! I love my Muffasaur, which is a Big Muff that actually works! 😅 I have others too. Just try all them!

    • @StevenAnthonyGuitar

      I would love to try all of them! It's just that my wallet won't agree with that 😜 But in all seriousness: a lot more people should try these.

    Deep Trip have been around since before the big boutique boom, and have flown under the radar.These days, there are many great Fuzz pedals available, across all price ranges;much like Drives, there's no need to spend a fortune on them.
    I've used the Ramble FX Twin since it's release, and it has all the practical tweaks needed for TB Mk.1.5 and 2 circuits.
    Personally, I've long been a fan of DT's Kryptone, which does more of the early Vox thing, without all the noise and EQ limitations.With Fuzz , much depends on the the pickups and the amp, especially when you're using Humbuckers.

      I've found that last part to be true for me. While I love the Twin Bender, I must say that the Page Bender is still the best fuzz I've ever used. The only thing that keeps me from replacing my Twin Bender on my main board is its size.

    Wow! From the sounds in this video, this sounds like the perfect fuzz for me.
    Also, I really like the sound of that Tele. May I ask what model/year it is?
    As always, I appreciate your tone and playing style.

    Best pedals here in Brazil.
    I own Pagebender, Hellbender, Bog, Kryptone, Capivara and Onça Pintada - the last one is the best ever pedal that I’ve played with.
    A lot of dynamic and crystaline notes.. awesome!
    Cheers from Brazil!

    Man, I just place the order via Reverb. I am in guitar because of Page, can’t 🙈 I’m Zeppelin’s Super Fan! I own lots of fuzzes ‘cause the search never ends! 😢😅

    • @StevenAnthonyGuitar
      @StevenAnthonyGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then that makes two of us! But besides the Page association, this fuzz is simply amazing, honestly. Ofcourse it can do the Zeppelin thing, but also does everything else I could wish from a fuzz. Had it since november and I'm using it everyday because it's such a fun pedal to play.

    Have you ever tried the Keeley Fuzz Bender?

  • @mr.k905
    @mr.k905 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sounds more like a distortion to me. My vintage Tone Benders sound NOTHING like that thing, even when using an EQ on them.
    Nice sound nevertheless, I just wouldn’t call it a fuzz, much less a Tone Bender style pedal.

    • @StevenAnthonyGuitar
      @StevenAnthonyGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't own any vintage ones, but I have owned several Tone Bender-style pedals and to me it sounds like it's in the same realm, but it has a much broader scope than some of them. Really great pedal!

    Great demo! I have the BOG, Hellbender, and Kryptone. All amazing. The Page Bender sounds like the Kryptone with more gain. It’s got a similar midrange bark. Kinda wish I had the Page Bender instead of the Kryptone lol.

    • @StevenAnthonyGuitar
      @StevenAnthonyGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Page Bender is great, even if you're not into Jimmy Page. I don't usually use fuzz very often, but since I've got this one I use it more often and in different ways.

      @Unusednickname_1970 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@StevenAnthonyGuitar I don’t use fuzz much either, but the BOG is my favorite dirt pedal. It’s not very fuzzy, actually. It’s more like a distortion/OD.

      @@StevenAnthonyGuitar I recently got a Page Bender. Ordered it directly from Du. It’s absolutely killer. Just the right amount of midrange to sit nicely in a mix. I love how it snarls and growls. Cleans up a bit with the guitar volume too. Thanks for making this excellent demo!
