I’m not tryna call anybody out but, in my opinion, I believe Dallon is a better lyricist mainly because of his complex vocabulary and ability to rhyme and sing along with his own beats so well. Brendon is very good too! But, you can kind of tell that Dallon wrote most of TWTLTRTD. 🤷♂️ Just my opinion don’t hate me plz
Dallon is so so underrated, his talent is absolutely nuts. It's really sad to know there are so few panic fans I've seen that realize just how many of their favorite songs are purely Dallon's doing. This man deserves some serious appreciation for all of the good times he's given us without our knowing or ever getting credit.
no literally like I was the biggest panic fan you could ever imagine, but then brendon got canceled and i started getting more into IDKHOW and The Brobecks, and i even saw IDKHOW live and omg dallon's singing and writing is just so amazing and beyond compare
@@Wckdlttlsnnrs28 I haven't seen where Breezy addressed it. When asked about the leak Dallon posted "It’s a drag that person decided to post it. Definitely a dick move, but oh well." That might be more to that person than in general, but I don't know.
I mean, yeah legally this person is in huge trouble but dallon has also said that he likes that people are kind of discovering the brobecks songs by digging through the internet and stuff
This version feels so upbeat, you can almost miss the ultimate message, while the final Panic version feels very heavy, there's a sadness that lingers over it. I honestly like them both
i find it interesting how this version of the song has a more upbeat, happy feeling to it while the twtltrtd has more of a sad vibe. they're both very different but equally amazing! :)
I really love how this song sounds. Like more than I can express in words. The Brobecks has this lively and happy sound to it, even if the song itself is depressing. I love their style of music because it sticks out. This version makes me energetic and excited because of how upbeat it is. Brendon’s version was slower and colder-sounding if you get what I mean. I freaking love this version so much more aaa Dallon is amazing (T▽T)
panic!’s version sparks an emotion inside of me i’d never really felt before. well, actually, i’d describe it as a hybrid of emotions - everything at once. no other song has ever had that power over me, so i’d say that to me it is unmatched.
Semi charmed kind of guy right, if he was really upset to the point where it is keeping him up at night(which some of the fanboys/fangirls seem to think) he WOULD speak out because he knows his fans would respect his wishes...and he never told anyone his wishes(so I don’t get why everyone is acting like they know). he said it’s a dick move and that’s all, makes it seem like he knows it’s already out but knows he can’t control it so why go against it(just my opinion).
I wish we could hear more of these demo's. Dallon wrote so many songs for panic and got almost no recognition. I understand people want this to get deleted as it is somewhat illegal but at the same time, it is really interesting to hear the original versions of the songs.
Oh, I didn't know it was originally a Brobecks song?!? That's awesome!! It's so cool that Dallon brought a song from his old band to his 'new band', it would be so cool if he sang this with iDKHOW!!
i just found this now @ people who think brendon stole it, dallon literally told him he could put it in the album?? (that’s why there’s literally no controversies ive seen so far abt the song) plus if im correct dallon was also still an official member (not a tour member) during this era so of course he would also be writing for p!atd?? he gets full credits for all he has contributed in TWTLTRTD and though he did write a lot, he didn’t completely write everything y’all. the reason why he was so underrated was because most people tend to look at the singer of a band as the leader and maybe some people misinterpreted the fact that brendon n spencer were the only original members left, deeming them as p!atd (in their eyes) so yea. that’s what i see. no need for negativity towards dallon, brendon or anything affiliated with TWTLTRTD. plus it’s been years since that era, theyve both have moved onto different projects. no need to dwell on something that originally wasn’t a problem. (so sorry if i come off as rude, im just stating how i see it. this demo version is as good as the album version!!)

Since this is a demo and wasn’t intended to get out, I’m sure they liked the instruments used for it and thought it would go nicely with Monday Morning.
no thanks pete yeah if trtltwtd released in 2013 this would have been made around then. monday morning was on the first brobecks album from 2001/2003ish i think.
twtltrtd has always been my favourite panic! album tbh and now when i hear idkhow songs its so easy to tell the influence that dalton had on the songs uGH HES SUCH A TALENT IM CRYING
I can confidently say that Dallon James Weekes is the reason I got the urge to play bass. Dis man pulled me down a rabbit hole and now I can't get out.
Didn't know Dallon was so good at writing music, but it makes a lot of sense cuz razzmatazz has the vibe of too weird to live too rare to die, also death of a bachelor and pray for the wicked were so different, maybe because that was mostly brendon who wrote them, honestly I love those albums and both bands are so fucking great! (but razzmatazz takes the cake imo)
@@Wckdlttlsnnrs28 ahha ty! personally, the two versions fit in different places in my heart. the released version has a more melancholic feeling to me, and I associate it with that sorta feeling. letting go, trying to push someone away, yet still wanting one last sentiment. this one feels more...young love to me. feels like teenagers being reckless. idk. they just have different meanings to me.
for people who dont know !!!! all of this song except the chorus are from "monday morning" on understanding the brobecks!!! GIVE THIS ALBUM LOVE ITS SO HOOD
Amazing how two singers could sing this with such different style, especially that one of them is the actual songwriter, he knows how the songs should be performed
I love both versions no hate to either of them. Brendon and Dallon have amazing but also different voices so please don't hate on either of them. They're both talented people. Thanks for coming to my ted talk
i honestly love this so much. both panic!'s version and the brobeck's version are good in their own ways. you can hear each boy's style in the sound of the song. obviously dallon is singing in this but you can hear his musical style, the way he writes guitar lines and how things tend to be whimsical in his songs. in brendon's version he's singing but you can hear his musical style as well which at the time was very mellow and melancholy. i love the contrast and they're both beautiful songs
By the way it’s very possible that Casey crescenzo helped write this song, listen to his solo project called Honorary astronaut and you might hear some similarities in the instrumental, but also the vocal melodies are sort of similar to his early demos, for that check out some of his demos for “The Dear Hunter”
This sounds so different from the panic version! I feel like that one feels much more somber and almost cinematic, whereas this one feels more upbeat and captures the youthfulness of the lyrics. Gotta say I prefer this version
Didn't even know Dallon was in a band before P!ATD and IDKHBTFM! I personally like this verison better and will be listening to more of The Brobecks past music :)
The Brobecks were so amazing. Speaking of, I can’t wait for that new iDKHOW album whenever it’s supposed to come out. Dallon is insanely talented and I’ll always support all of his musical projects.
I don't really give a shit if it's iLlEgAl at this point. I'm really glad this demo is up for people to hear. Real work went into it and it's awesome to hear.
TWTLTRTD will always be a favorite album for me solely because of Dallon. All of the songs I love were because of him and panic never hit the same when he was demoted to a touring member.
i love this so much whoa edit: hOLY SHIT THE CHORUS HIS VOICE THE VIBE YES OBV THE PANIC ONE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITEZ BUT THIS IS LITERALLY SO GOOD DALLON WEEKES AND RYAN ROSS ARE SOME OF THE MOST TALENTED WRITERS THE WORLD HAS EVER BEEN BLESSED WITH
let's think about all the panic! songs that were originally brobecks song demos and how many brobecks songs could have been panic! songs if they hadn't been released before dallon joined panic!
Clari Sb far too young and all the boys were written by dallon. Dallon also write the original lyrics for Vegas lights. Cluster hug and everyone I know were originally going to be panic songs but they didn’t use them so dallon did. That’s all I know
Thank you so much for sharing this! It's so cool to hear Dallon's version. I really love both versions, but I must say I just very much enjoy to hear Dallon sing this one. His voice is just amazing.
Just, I love this song. And some facts makes me feel like sad. It saddens me most that Daron has not been given the recognition he rightly deserves. Technically, I’m talking about possibilities, though. I just want to thank them for the work they are still doing. The Brobecks and IDKhow are greatest bands I ever herd.
i understand this is illegal and dallon doesn’t want it out so don’t hate plz but it’s sooo good like i don’t understand why artists just don’t want people to hear this stuff bc it’s soooooooo gooooooooddddddddd and it like helps them out but. i mean i’m not gonna share but it’s so gooooddd
WckdLttlSnnrs 28 i mean, you’re not the one who leaked it,, whoever leaked it is bad and shouldn’t do it but like i’m glad i heard this, and um yeah i understand you shouldn’t share it but it’s already out and he won’t be able to take it down bc it’s not under a label or copyright, and he knows that, so why make it harder to find when it’s already out and people already want to hear it
Dallon and Breezy know about it being leaked and they aren't upset don't feel guilty or anything because they aren't mad about it and they don't care that it's out
This is one of my favorite Brobecks songs!! It used to be Monday Morning off their first album Understanding The Brobecks. Great song, all three versions.

Pumpkin Pie Panic! At The Disco is a band. He’s not on stage by himself playing background music. He tours with a certain band and interacts with me. Plus he did give Dallon his credit. He gives credit to everyone
i think you should keep it up because dallon knows it got leaked and people have already heard it. i think he should get recognition for the songs he wrote bc they are amazing
Breezy also said they aren't upset, so.
i love the patd version of this but ngl i like this version better and i feel like the melody and lyrics match this style/instrumental and Dallon’s voice better

putting all the debate on whether or not this should be posted aside this was amazing. it was so cool getting to hear one of my favorite songs "for the first time" again. it's also really cool because while as dallon and brendon have both mentioned the writing process behind too weird and how much dallon contributed it's nice to finally hear something from his contributions if you get what i mean?
Yeah! Exactly. and it should have never been leaked, but since it did there is no point in hiding it so why not share it with the fellow lovers of this song?
It's sad we'll never get those demos. Dallon has said that he played a very big part of twtltytd.
Listening to this while waiting to the release of Cricket and Clover, come on Jon!
Chances are Jon probably won't be able to release it. While Brendon Ryan Spencer and Jon are probably cool with it being released it may not be able to be released due to management and all that wild wild stuff. But that's showbiz baby *mic drop* *finger guns off stage*

🤷♂️ Just my opinion don’t hate me plz
no brendone slurrie isnt a good writer/lyricist
Dallon is so so underrated, his talent is absolutely nuts.
It's really sad to know there are so few panic fans I've seen that realize just how many of their favorite songs are purely Dallon's doing.
This man deserves some serious appreciation for all of the good times he's given us without our knowing or ever getting credit.
no literally like I was the biggest panic fan you could ever imagine, but then brendon got canceled and i started getting more into IDKHOW and The Brobecks, and i even saw IDKHOW live and omg dallon's singing and writing is just so amazing and beyond compare
I don't know how to feel. I know Dallon is upset that this got leaked, but I have been wondering about the original of this song for so long.
Actually breezy weeks said they aren't upset about it. Just that the person who leaked it, who they know, is in seriously trouble
@@Wckdlttlsnnrs28 I haven't seen where Breezy addressed it. When asked about the leak Dallon posted "It’s a drag that person decided to post it. Definitely a dick move, but oh well." That might be more to that person than in general, but I don't know.
AshleyWass Breezy said it in dms, screenshots are most likely all over Instagram or whatever
It sucks that it's leaked but it's so much better than Panic's
I mean, yeah legally this person is in huge trouble but dallon has also said that he likes that people are kind of discovering the brobecks songs by digging through the internet and stuff
The Brobecks were such an amazing band (still are)
This version feels so upbeat, you can almost miss the ultimate message, while the final Panic version feels very heavy, there's a sadness that lingers over it. I honestly like them both

Dallon had so much more influence on panic! then I ever knew...
i find it interesting how this version of the song has a more upbeat, happy feeling to it while the twtltrtd has more of a sad vibe. they're both very different but equally amazing!
I freaking love this version so much more aaa Dallon is amazing (T▽T)
way better than panic!'s version. fight me.
That's an opinion
it is
panic!’s version sparks an emotion inside of me i’d never really felt before. well, actually, i’d describe it as a hybrid of emotions - everything at once. no other song has ever had that power over me, so i’d say that to me it is unmatched.
@@pixxichan5357 i mean same but this is *still* better imo
nope because i completely agree
Please never delete this video, I come back to it almost monthly
If Dallon wants this down, he doesn't need you people to play his advocates. Seriously, stop being so dramatic and just enjoy the song.
Who wouldve thought Far Too Young To Die could get better
This comment section is basically a Dallon Weekes' defense squad and i stan

I just love dallon's song writing style. It has this particular type of feel to it and it's so addictive.

is this real? it sounds almost identical to “monday morning” by the brobecks. the lyrics are different but all the instruments are the same
Yeah, its real. It does sound like it, I've put them together it's it's bizarre
Since this is a demo and wasn’t intended to get out, I’m sure they liked the instruments used for it and thought it would go nicely with Monday Morning.
no thanks pete actually i think it’s the other way around, that monday morning became too far young to die
no thanks pete yeah if trtltwtd released in 2013 this would have been made around then. monday morning was on the first brobecks album from 2001/2003ish i think.

How have I never heard this version before, it's so good, the synths give me huge early 70's vibes I love it.
Didn't know Dallon was so good at writing music, but it makes a lot of sense cuz razzmatazz has the vibe of too weird to live too rare to die, also death of a bachelor and pray for the wicked were so different, maybe because that was mostly brendon who wrote them, honestly I love those albums and both bands are so fucking great! still here, still listening to this absolute banger
personally, the two versions fit in different places in my heart. the released version has a more melancholic feeling to me, and I associate it with that sorta feeling. letting go, trying to push someone away, yet still wanting one last sentiment. this one feels more...young love to me. feels like teenagers being reckless. idk. they just have different meanings to me.
yess! i totally understand that!!
This one feels like teens that are being reckless because they have to leave each other soon because it’s still a bit sad but also livening
i want brendon and him to sing this together

fun fact: far too young to die is my favorite song on twtltrtd
I really want to see this on an iDKhow album. That would be fucking unreal
Jesus. I liked the final version of Far too young to die but this is super cool to hear
This is so beautiful holy shit. It gives me nostalgia for something I've never had
I really like the cover design and how it uses the old album/band symbols
Thanks!
