Another aviation mystery that remains unsolved is the disappearance of the Army Air Corps plane that disappeared with it's crew and bandleader Glenn Miller during WWII. No wreckage was ever found.

According to the map you show yourself, Grand Bahama Island lies just outside of the Bermuda triangle, and certainly not in the middle of that triangle, as you stated in this video.

The Malaysia flight isn't a mystery. Didn't they find the wreckage and learned that it was actually shot down? Or am I thinking of a different event?

Flug 19: der erfahrene Ausbilder Taylor flog diese Trainingsroute zum ersten Mal, hatte zuvor auch schon mindestens eine Wasserlandung überstanden. Alle anderen Piloten waren unerfahrene Anfänger. Das Wetter war beim Start gut, über dem Atlantik jedoch sehr stürmisch. Dann wurde es dunkel (keine Wasserlandung möglich), außerdem war der Sprit alle (sie hatten sich ja verflogen). Die Flugzeuge sind einfach abgestürzt und wie auch andere abgestürzte Flugzeuge überall auf den riesigen, tiefen Ozeanen nicht mehr auffindbar gewesen. Schon gar nicht mit damaliger Technik. Und heute sind sie wahrscheinlich nicht mehr auffindbar, weil genug Zeit vergangen ist, dass die Natur sie ordentlich "begraben" konnte. Laut Statistiken sind im Bermuda-Dreieck nicht mehr Schiffe und Flugzeuge als anderswo gesunken bzw. abgestürzt. Zum Mysterium wurde es, weil man damit richtig gut Geld verdienen konnte (Bücher usw.), sodass die Nachricht vom "Todesdreieck" dann auch nach Europa überschwappte und dort gerne aufgenommen wurde (wie so alles aus dem geliebten US-Amerika). Aber diese Doku hier ist trotzdem ganz interessant 😉
