- Today we are looking at some of the new O Scale building offerings from Menards especially the Sand & Gravel Building with Free Truck.! I'm not sure about mixing water and 18 Volts and probably will never buy the Beta F3 Locomotive.! Thanks for watching as always.! Mark

I have been uniformly happy with Menards items, but find home delivery, even with extra cost, is well worth it.

I really like this garage. I wish i had a spot for it. I watch Gunsmoke every day and now and again they mention Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Menards Sand and Gravel - I ordered this building myself. Very pleased with it and shipping was just fine. I like the Medusa image on the company logo. And its a small business that would be very common in a busy railroad town. Enjoy your videos and layout.

Awesome.! the NYC FT was my first in 2003. Blown away to find the B unit sitting on a hobby shop shelf 20 years later. Did a video on them a few years ago when I converted it to TMCC. The AA set is new before I decided to convert the FT Set. Really like the lightning stripe and the History of NYC.😊
Very nice building and dump truck Mark. Metal roof looks great and I like how the dump bed stays up. Menards prices on their buildings are hard to beat. You can't scratch build them for the price.

Thanks Bob.! Everyone has been talking about them since Beta no number yet and they still chrome them out on 4.5 so a BIG IDK. Even if they didn't I probably would not buy one and just stick with Lionel. Can't wait to see how you do part 3.! 👍BIG😊

That sand and gravel company looks like a nice additon though. The Menards Cripple Creek Jail looks intereesting. I'm not familiar with the Menards product line to know if they've done this already but that jail building looks like it would make a great old-time firehouse with a little modification!

Some buildings to go with my 60+ 1:43&1:50 scale Tractors JD, AC, Case, IH etc. And many Cat 1:50 diacast. The hobby shop looks nice and is probably much more reasonable than the lionel version

A Very cool die cast tractor collection I don’t have is why I’m now glad I waited for this one.👍🏻😊I would have loved to have the Lionel Hobby Shop if I could have afforded it at the time.! It was pretty expensive if I remember correctly. Very Cool though with all the little train sets running inside.! 👍🏻😊

@@markslioneltrains since I model a prosperous Penn Central my cutoff date is the bicentennial. I run Pennsylvania and New York Central sharknose diesels in combination as well as having passenger cars from both railroads in the same passenger train. I don't care for the engine sounds or crew talk 🦜 because when you run multiple trains the noise becomes cacophonous. Krewtok is a nun prototypical feature as well because you cannot hear them side the locomotive over the sound of the locomotive 🚂. Steam did not have radios they had hand signals and whistle talk. That is why the closer you got your house was to the railroad tracks that cheaper your rent was. Because all you heard was whistles all night and clanging of couplers and train noises but some people get used to that like the ones who live next to the elevated train in New York City 🏙️🌆. They get used to it after a while.

You are right.!!!!! My guess is the Gold Line buildings are a different product line and don't include him? I have one other Gold Line building and it did not come with Jack either. Thanks for noticeing.! Mark

Excellent suggestion👍🏻Taylor’s Lionel Trains did something similar on top of a Mountain. I may still consider it when I have a more permanent layout if it’s still available.!😊Mark
@@markslioneltrains yeah, that thing was huge.... Taller then the statue of liberty by 60 feet.... that may be a WAY easier landmark for you to get Your bearings with if you ever do it
