How can you be so confident that AMD will be superior? Intel is using TSMC Foundries for this generation, so the two chips are made at the same place using the same technology process. Let's wait and see how they ACTUALLY compare before allowing all the AMD fanboys to bury the lineup >_>
He is actually holding the G16 while talking about the G14. This is indicated by the full size SD card visible when he is showing the ports. Only the G16 has a full size SD card slot, while the G14 has a micro-SD card slot! The G14 has always been extremely portable and this year is more so than before!
the g14 is great, i have the 2024 model with the 4070 and i have absolutely zero complaints. still in return window for another week, hopefully the new model comes out soon
Well I can afford it but my problem is I don’t know anything about PC or Laptop gaming but I want to buy one for mods specially VR I seen videos of people playing that new Harry Potter game and red dead 2 in VR but I don’t know if a 2000 dollar one is good enough for top performance on VR or if I should get the most powerful one, I don’t want to buy something I don’t need.
@genuser9758 no, just no. There is no need for 4K display on this laptop, as 2.5K looks fairly identical. This comes from someone who has used both 2.5K and 4K gaming laptops. The higher asking price is just not worth it, and the loss in frame rate performance is also not worth it for the extra pixels. 4K is for much larger screen, not for 18” screens
@@eric131313 I was considering an upgrade but with how much the 5070 ti is going to hold back the X3D model and with the rumors of worse performance of the Ultra series this year I’m just going to hold on and wait for next gen. Absolutely laughing stock of a lineup. I hope reviewers call out this clear bribery by Intel to hold back AMD. It even comes with last gen chassis for the AMD chips 😭

Yes, the g14 now comes with up to an rtx 5080 and the g16 gets up to a 5090.
