As someone who's incredibly awkward, its really encouraging to see Todd up here an akward, mumbly mess, but still having a good time.

It was recently that I first saw a Todd Snider video performing live. Always a much older Todd Snider, just about freaked me out, when I started seeing videos of a much younger Todd Snider, and performing with the Nervous Wrecks. I'm like is it the same guy !? LOL. great stuff.

He is SO scrawny today, but he remains one of my all time favorites. He played Portland , Maine a few years ago; I thought of travelling from eastern Canada to see him, but March weather can be so crappy here, I didn't risk it.

Damn good version. One of the best. I mean besides vh1 covering up the words "scumbag, dope and dicks."

Daily Planet was a small bar in Memphis. I got to see him play and he was so much fun. The bar was always packed when he played. He had a huge following. Todd is AWESOME!

@@marthastephens2179 Neal's on Quince: Eddie Smith and Friends, great musicians. If you don't know about it. Friday's usually early gig 6 to 11? He is amazing and the group is Awesome. Originals, some country, some old rock. Of course, Covid is an issue, so maybe better to see if he has online concert. It is just not safe to go anywhere if you have health issues. I miss the Planet!

Todd is an awesome storyteller. He doesn't remind me as Bob Dylan as much as he reminds me of a young Steve Earle. Hard Working American's is his new band you got to check them out because they are so authentic! Honestly though, I don't think Snider cares if he's playing with Hard Working Americans playing in venues of thousands or playing alone, acoustically, telling his stories for 50 people in a bar. I really like this guy, Rootsy-Americana at its best. Real music lovers (no posers allowed) got to check him out if you haven't already!

Todd is an amazing artist that connects with everyone in so many ways. He has helped me come through some really hard times. My son that is six years old loves him too. If you're having a bad day turn him on and I can almost bet you that he will turn your day around.

Here in Canada, one of our major newspapers, "The Globe and Mail" did a review of protest CD's: Todd Snider and Bruce Springsteen. I think I'm one of the very few Canadians who know and loveTodd, but I wouldn't cross the street to watch Springsteen, a multi millionaire acting as if he is working class, basically preaching to the choir ( does he know very few of we Canadians can vote Democrat ?) Todd's political feelings are pretty clear, but, as he said, "I'm so liberal, I love conservatives."

He started performing in 1994. The next year he's on VH1. That's crazy how quick it turned around.
