I love the jeep Rubicon. I originally hated it when I was using keyboard and mouse. It would whip around randomly, spin out all the time, etc. But when I started using a wheel, all of a sudden it was easy to control, stable and an off road monster. I've never been able to get it stuck. Since it's very small it can go anywhere, it does have smaller tires than some other scouts, but it will still get through deep mud. It's short wheel base makes it a beast. I love it. When you are just wanting to scout a map and not trying to complete any side missions, nothing is better than the jeep Rubicon imo. Love it.

I agree with the renegade but the wrangler is so much fun. Light enough to skip over most mud and the crawler suspension makes it near impossible to flip. It's my go to small scout when I'm exploring if I don't want to take out the tamarind. ^^

With the JAT OMD tires the HX and CT 681 are two of the best trucks in the game. Their only real issue is deep mud and now they're able to crawl through it. The lack of ground clearance isn't really a hindrance but does require you to pay attention to what line you're taking. The stability on both vehicles is simply amazing.
The crocodile isn't bad, but it's not that good by any measure. Trucks like that are okay for scouting but actual scouts are a little bit better. It's simply because small semis weigh too much. Meaning that in some of the more difficult sections scouts and the smaller off-road trucks alike will get stuck. Except the scouts can use the small trees to winch out of sections. This means unless it's a vehicle with especially large tires, (and naturally these vehicles are worse for scouting because of their size)the scouts are best for scouting. Which I hope surprises no one.
Can the Jeep Rubicon is very good at crawling rocks. It's actually one of the better scouts too you just need experience to play it. You don't believe me go up a hill and in a rocky section and you'll see what I mean. It's unusually-- good one of the best actually
And finally the defender 90 is rather lacking. But it's off-road capability was so much better than the 110 that it was a slightly better option. But with the new tire pack this is no longer the case. The 110 has good torque, is competent off and on road, and has unusually good stability. I mean really really good. The Defender 110 is actually one of the better scouts in the game now. If you don't believe me go see for yourself and test it up and down hills.

Navistar, 612H Mastodon, and Crocodile are certainly must buys.
Personally out of the semi's DLC trucks I don't like HX520 that much. I always found it really easy to get stuck. The Brigidier is actually my favourite with the Western Stars close behind.
Marshall is pretty easy on fuel. It goes considerable ways on the fuel it can carry.
I like the Apache but it's a crawler truck, that thing does not like being in Low+ or High unless it's on solid ground, it wheel spins super easy even in AWD. The second you get into mud or snow you better be ready to lock in medium low.

There are good vehicles for utility but also spam vehicles.
Land Rover,i am not a fan and i would take a Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol over that anyday.
Ford F750 with the latest engine of the update or Loadstar 1700 are my first choice for scouts,TUZ 420 if i need more power.
My trucks are WS Twinsteer for bigger loads, generic jobs can be done with CAT CT681 or International HX520 but real power is Azov and Tayga.
The best vehicle for logs is Kenworth 963,it wipes the floor with Pacific trucks and every competition and it's power up hills still needs to improve, also a good choice for high saddle hauling.
FEMM seems interesting as i think it can replace WS Twinsteer for same 4x cargo,it must be more stable and much more capable,i will get it later.

The only problem I have with DLC are the ones that can’t be used for much, like the Apache and Khan Marshall can’t tow trailers when they absolutely should be able to. I get the Jeeps and Land Rovers being light and not good at towing them since they’re short wheelbase and lighter than a pickup truck. Also I don’t understand why the Khan Marshall fuel tank got nerfed so badly it used to be like 78L at the start of the game

Jeep should be the most op vehicles in the game they are the best off road vehicles irl. I own a jeep and have friends that own some with 4x4 big 38 tires we really go mudding and nothing can stop us. We had to pull out my friends bronco out the mud and he always bragged about his v8 but our 4 cylinders pulled him out. Jeeps are awesome and so are Toyota pick up 4x4 im talking old school around 90s toyota and early 2000s. My jeep is 2016 and we have a mixture of jeeps ranging from early 2000s to now. Only thing im missing is a winch but my buddies have them so im good 👍

If u wanna use the Khan 39 Marshal then just use the modded version instead yes the thing is super OP especially in the beginning if u max out the upgrades but that can be easily avoided by not maxing it out right away. If they hadent nerfed the released version of the Khan to the ground by slashing its fuel tank in half then this DLC would have be worth it. A scout dosent need to be super powerful as its main job is mainly gonna be as there name says scout areas and when u drive into unknown terrain the last thing u wanna have to worry about in a scout truck is your fuel tank. U could argue that before the nerf it was abit to strong for the none DLC maps and i would agree. But with the nerf they turned it from a powerful very reliable scout to boarderline useless if u dont have another truck following it with a fuel trailer. Dont bother with the High roller pack use the modded version of the Khan 39 Marshal instead and u wont waste your money.

its really too bad that you couldn't select when you get in the addons like if you really need 4 extra tires, maybe 2 and then replace the others with either parts or fuel, or if you very rarely pop tires take them out completely and jus have fuel and parts

My take on this: The Land Rover DLC is absolute trash, even with JAT MSH III tires they are ridiculously uncontrollable and their tires are so small that the 90 or 110 will come to a halt in almost any mud immediately. The Jeep DLC: Out of the 2 cars in this pack I only ever use one of them, and thats the Wrangler. With the crawler suspension it's one of the best scouts in the game for rock crawling, but again, any mud deeper than the tread of the tire and it just comes to a halt. This is even more the case with the Renegade considering it only gets 31" tires. Marshall DLC: Not the best scout; somewhat squirrely, but it still has it's uses. With JAT tires it actually becomes pretty decent and is a great choice for early game regions like Taymyr where it will provide a very balanced experience. Fuel efficiency is to be desired however; it's like the Azov 5 of scouts. Great offroader, horrible fuel economy. Apache DLC: This is actually one of my favorite scout trucks to use. Was very fun to use in Alaska and Michigan, and with JAT DLC it becomes an absolute beast. The only downside it has imo is that you pretty much have to have AWD always on, becuase unlike Yar or Rezvani, the Apaches stock drivetrain is a single front driven axle, and it doesn't really have the torque for that even with the best engine it can get. Rezvani DLC: Basically a modernized version of the Apache but better. This thing is able to hold so much fuel that you can literally refuel a Twinsteer. And that engine sound is just lovely. W990 DLC: Absolutely shitty truck at the moment but after Season 12 update it's supposed to be a P512 equivalent, so who knows? My opinions might change. Brigadier DLC: Very versatile truck, has alot of addons, but BOY is it thirsty. Not as bad as say Azov 5 or Navistar, but it's still a challenge to keep Ol' Grizzly on the road, especially if you play Hard mode. Navistar DLC: This thing is a MONSTER, unfortunately that means it drinks like one too. I usually run it with a highway gearbox and it just plows through the terrain. Very good for logging or trailer hauling. 49X DLC: This truck is a bit underwhelming stock, but once you get it upgraded it is a VERY capable medium logger. Again, one of those trucks that's fantastic for Michigan or Alsaska. This is one of the very few trucks with a dead axle that's actually good, and the dead axle can actually be useful for stability at times. Anniversary DLC: The CAT CT681 is mildly underrated, it holds its own well enough. I much prefer the HX520 to it tho, although it rides a bit too low for any real mud. Crocodile DLC: I've never really used this, but after your review I might bring it out more often :) Wolf Pack DLC: I just wanna say that the 1430 is EXTREMELY underrated, it is an amazing overloader, and it was actually what got me through most of my first Yukon playthrough. The 57X is a great choice for maps with a highway system, such as Glades or Scandinavia. The 1424 is almost like a mini Navistar, with a highway gearbox it rips on backroads, but becomes pretty top heavy with raised suspension tho. Tatra DLC: I absolutely love the T813. I run it with a towing platform and it's become what I most frequently use for scout vehicle recovery missions. The 805 tho?? Absolutely terrible. In my experience it's as uncontrollable as the Land Rovers and is super wonky to drive. Mastodon DLC: Worth every penny. Tons of addons, huge fuel tank, and, MudRunner nostalgia! Only disadvantage this big girl has is the front bumper being a bit of an issue when dealing with an exceptional amount of rocks. Also makes it prone to taking damage, but the STORM engine has a ton of HP so it's not too big of an issue. Sorry for the wall of text, I had a Monster a few hours ago and am feeling exceptionally talkative so I thought I'd just add my two cents :D

Still think the Khan Marshall fuel nerf and whatever else they did to it was completely unnecessary. Can’t tow, but it was just great for Scouting, but now can’t even do that with it.
People complained that it made early game/regions easy. Don’t fucking use it then. It was a pre-order bonus for a reason just like the Navistar.
Imagine letting a non-competitive game that’s only Solo/Co-op affect the way you yourself play it. All of us that paid extra for the ultimate edition got cheated out of a great Scout vehicle because of all the whiners

Why? It's literally one of the best trucks in the game. I will say if your not using the default tires then put those back on.
Now if you haven't used the truck in a long time or since it came out, performance have been improved. It may sound weird but it's pulling power is better than it was on release after Saber gave the truck heavier tires (It seems friction might play a big part in how well a truck pulls. Heavier tire = better friction which apparently translates to better pulling) And if memory serves me right the turning circle has been improved.
