It’s so funny (but not ha ha funny) watching these videos and listening to your homesickness. I have watched them and felt so much nostalgia because that used to be my old home. I spent half of my childhood in Boise and these vlogs have given me such a grateful feeling for all of those years! It’s such a wonderful place to live. I hope y’all are loving it.

Hannah I feel you with moving away and missing friends and fam but knowing the move was best for your fam! We have moved away for 3ish years now and still miss everyone but it gets better! Unlike you though we are not in a nature place as we would like so we are picking up and traveling around and are eventually moving again to a place with more of natures beauty to raise our babies! ❤️

If I remember correctly, little Cosmo has a Scorpio Stellium (4 or more planets concentrated in one sign), so it makes sense that he has no problem playing by himself for long periods of time. One cool thing to check out would be getting his chart read by a professional astrologer (if you're open to that kind of thing, if not cool beans)

I’m Glad your enjoying the river . You guys half to go up to go up to Idaho city when it cools off and go the THe Springs natural hot pool where they serve you drinks while you in the spring. It’s an old gold mining town it’s small but so fun to walk around and see the history of the small town. Go to sarsaparillas ice cream parlor and they usually have a couple dairy free options . Playing in the creeks up there is also fun . Nature and hikes all around. 🦋 I’m sorry your feeling lonely 😞 just make sure you are getting together with your friends as much as you can. Does your baby play in your legs while you cook?! I’m struggling with that aspect of being a mom! I can’t move 😂
I put all safe things like pots, pans, any child friendly dishes, etc...and made a low cupboard in the kitchen for my kids. When I'm cooking they could get into their cupboard hit pots with wooden spoons, stack containers, etc.... Kept them occupied but still close to mama.

My s/o actually got me an electric bike recently and I know what you mean by fear of not getting enough exercise but I think of the battery just being there to get across a road or something like that it makes it a safer smoother ride so have fun 🙃
Ehh my son is the same age, Idk that I'd let him independent play with rocks- next to water. And mine's great at independent play too but just bc they can doesn't mean they should! I hope that you're plugged into care here and taking him to regular wellness visits etc. It's not good that your sister doesn't do that :(

@@rainydaykelly um, why not? i'm a teacher. i worry about TONS of kids. you don't? that's sad.. babies shouldn't play alone (or at all tbh) with rocks, especially that small. and that water drowns people every year. i live right here. not that any river is safe for a baby to just sit next to while it's parents are chatting to a camera and packing bike crap up. my son is the same age and that age puts EVERYTHING in their mouth. that's not being a stupid baby, that's normal development. it's how babies learn about their world. but you wouldn't obviously want them to do that with tiny rocks...
do you know ellen's kids have NEVER been inside a hospital? have you heard her talk about that? elvis is like over 10 years old now. that's pretty troubling. there's so many things they could not know about given now about to be 5 kids :-/ so yeah. i worry. don't need your permission to and i don't care if i don't have your support about it.

I would say if your 10 yr old has never been in a hospital, that's a good thing! You don't know who their health providers are. Just because you don't ho to a mainstream clinic does not mean your family does not have health providers. I understand worry and concern but who says that while one parent is packing the other isn't watching Cosmos? We are not there to see exactly what is going on.
Loving these Idaho blogs, I can't wait to get out of Southern California (My partner is waiting until his mom dies to ever move). It was nice growing up here but now that I'm an adult, this place no longer feels good to me anymore. It's filled with industry people, which is the opposite of who I am and who I want to surround myself with. I enjoy somewhere slower-paced, less image-driven with people who value community. So glad you moved away and can give us a nice little peak into somewhere more wholesome. Love you guys!
Boise is slowly turning into a small California. I was there last month and was horrified how much it has changed. I would suggest Northern Idaho, the Missouri Ozarks, or Tennessee.
That is if you are not bringing your political beliefs. Otherwise WA or Or has many small towns and they are liberal states.

You’ve GOT to take a to a trip up north to Sandpoint during the summer/ fall. It’s like 7 or 8 hours? There’s more swimming and hiking and incredible nature that you could ever want!

Girl stop 🤣it is NOT lush in a high desert! It NEVER rains here. That's why people from CA like moving here- it's similar to where they usually have come from. It's hot and not super foresty. If you could also not advertise swimming in the resevoir, the news just posted another person drowning there and I'm hoping you end up sharing that in this video..... locals don't swim there! A lot of people have been getting hurt and/or drowning this summer :( be safe McNeelys!

This area, particularly where she moved to, is the fastest growing area in the country if you didn't know. Housing prices are sky high and right before covid it was SO cheap. I'd guess the house they bought was probably at least 800k? And in 2019 it was probably 150-275k. Insane demand.
@@winterrrsea1674 yeah the housing marking is crazy!! They most definitely paid 800k. There house is beautiful tho. I have noticed just within this year it has gone down significantly. I did come across multiple pos trailer houses for 350k tho I’m like wtf.

@@nicnic2819 I'm not sure why you are thinking about it so it depends on that, but the politics is a massive no imo. Even in Boise- I was told Boise is a safer area and it's not. Super heavy gun presence and I'm not into that, it's not lgbt friendly and I don't want my kids growing up in an area that's super anti trans, anti climate in schools, and worst education in the country. No access to abortion here and I'm very high risk for health. The climate here itself I knew I'd have issues w/, it's super dry and sunny all year; when we moved we figured I'd go visit my fam all the time then covid so haven't been able to once lol. I kinda knew I would hate it here from the get go and covid ruined out plan to make it work, and gave us time to realize it's just not a place to raise next gen. Climate is getting way worse here politically and literally- going to be uninhabitable w/ fires (air quality is awful a lot of the time etc), anti vaxx is massive so I'm just not protected in the state as far as covid OR other diseases once I had time and thought to look up those stats. The state gov doesn't give af about the people here, they just have a huge anti Mexico agenda 🙄so sad and so annoying...... of course all of this might be appealing to some on her videos Idk. Take it or leave it. Some of the state is pretty w/ lakes and forest if you drive 2+ hours from here, but she lives like 15 mins from me lol, no lush forests or water to swim in or anything that she's talking about is around here. It's dry af, sunny and hot every day. It's cold and dry in winter season but not too cold imo.
