Finally made it in Turkey! One of my dream countries to go :) Traveling alone in Istanbul is easy and I never felt uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. I explored popular photo spots and tourist areas Istanbul is famous for like the Blue Mosque, Balat, Grand Bazaar, Gala Tower, took a photo at a famous carpet rooftop spot, ate good Turkish breakfast and the famous San Sebastian cheesecake everyone is talking about on TikTok! My first impressions of Turkey is definitely unexpected and I am loving this country even more day by day. I hope you guys enjoy watching this vlog as much as I loved exploring Istanbul for the first time!

If you think you are overcharged, you should ask any Turkish people and they will tell you the estimated cost, I'm very sorry in my country, taxi drivers always like to take extra money from tourists, so if you take the taxi license plate and complain to the police, you can get your extra money back and the taxi driver will have to pay a fine and the next tourists will do the same. (You can see the taxis going with the mileage account and how much money is written for each kilometer on the istanbul taxi drivers site and you can easily calculate the kilometer you will go according to it, it will be correct on average.
Hi which area in istanbul did you stay?.. and is there a nearby metro? Or all by taxi or uber

Thanks so much for sharing, was in Turkey in April, it was my 5th time there as a solo traveler. I`ve done it more than once because it`s closer to my home in Switzerland and they do have brilliant beaches. Thanks once more for sharing, but next time you`re traveling try to ask beforehand if an airbnb has a lift,dragging suitcases up is not a joke.

Visit the Topkapi Palace and the Bosphorus Bridge (connects Europe and Asia), try fish in a stick and their well know street food scene. I remember buying a gold bangle at the Grand Bazaar when gold was still affordable then vs $1,900/oz now. Bypass buying a rug. Most of them are cheap tourist souvenir quality and not worth adding weight to your luggage. Turkish people are friendly. Thank you for your vlogs. They bring back memories of our old

So nice to see you both together again. When on walking tours, always wear comfortable sneakers to avoid callus or blister. Also, wear sunglasses on sunny days to prevent developing cataracts in the future. Thanks for showing us places in Turkey. Reminded of our trip there many years ago. My husband & I were happy to buy leather coats from Kusadasi that are still in excellent condition up todate. Their carpets are beautiful & yes, their tea is good. We have an arranged travel to Turkey too on Nov-Dec (10 days) and this vlog is something that I am glued on.
We were only there for a few days but renting a car is a highly recommended if you're on a budget :)

it is a nice vlog and i think turkiye is one of the most beautiful country with it's mixture look, like you say, and it's ancient buildings, it's broad cuisine... and i just wanted to say that i am living in turkiye in istanbul but i am not able to afford the things you do because turkiye is the touristic country and the prices are high for the people who is living in.. shortly, turkiye is great for tourists:)) anyways, i hope you enjoyed, and your impressions about the turkiye is good. stay safe💖🤩
