I find it so beautiful that Anne, for all of the words in her extensive vocabulary that she has to describe loving Gilbert back, instead she just kisses him because her love for him is the one thing she can't put into words.
I get that, but if she had said it, and Gilbert had said what was in his note, it would've stomped on one last misunderstanding, which this story was full of.
When Anne says "I have follow up questions" and Gilbert says "me too," I really hope they show us what those questions are. And I hope they discuss all the letters and stuff that led up to their moment. When Gilbert got off the train to kiss her again and Diana and her father were standing there I was like OMG. Cheers to Diana for saying everything we have been screaming at the TV for the past season. Episode was a 10/10. oh and when Mathew cried...I died.

Gilbert looking back at Anne when he first hops up on the carriage, the little, "Ah, what the hell," head tilt followed by *flinging* himself off the carriage to kiss her again, like he couldn't help it? Like he was drawn in by a magnet?! Yeah. I'm dead.
I met Anne with an E only this year... and I must say it is one of the best things I've ever watched. This final scene was perfect in all the ways, I finished it with my heart full of love and my soul complete. Anne and Gilbert are best couple ever, just like Darcy and Elizabeth.

As a book reader, I loved this series to bits but hated that ending. If you know the books, you know that Netflix did us SO dirty. There was another three seasons worth of awesome plot and characters leading up to an epic Shirbert HEA. This series ending was sweet, but the book version is top tier.
