There is an obstruction of vata dosha at the site of pain and to remove obstruction viddhakarma done. After piercing at the pain site vata dosha obstruction decreased exactly the same happens when piercing the balloon, air volume inside the balloon is decreased. I just picked this concept to understand others how viddhakarma works. It's not about which type of needle used it's about the way of viddhakarma work. I hope you understand my point.

Wrong information. The sites of Viddhakarma are specific according to disease. Jaha pain waha viddha nahi karte hai.
@@MasterRegulus There are specific points mentioned in Samhitas for particular diseases, but for acute pain, Viddhakarma is done at the pain site.
