Our clinical experiences (हमारे चिकित्सकीय अनुभव):
Incidentally, our clinical experiences spread over forty years tell us that Parijata leaves ghan when given to patients with sciatica are quite effective in a majority of the patients, especially when the mechanical pressure on the nerve roots is not too much, and the underlying abnormality is reversible.
As we start Parijata ghan in sciatica patients, most of them begin reporting significant pain relief in just a few days.
However, the final outcome depends a lot on the nature and severity of the underlying abnormalities. If the structural abnormalities are reversible and modifiable, the response is quite often excellent.
However, for a better and lasting improvement, the underlying abnormalities should be managed properly. For example, in case of lumbar spondylosis, drugs to strengthen the discs / joint cartilage, for example - Ashwagandha, Shilajatu, Mandukparni (Cartogen tab) have to be used.
Scientific validation (वैज्ञानिक मान्यता):
On the other hand, research conducted on Parijata reports following actions in this drug -
• Anti-inflammatory (शोथहर);
• Analgesic (Analgesic);
• Anti-rheumatic (आमवातहर);
• Antipyretic (सन्तापहर);
• Anti-depressant (मनोबल्य); and
• Sedative (मनोशामक).
These actions are in high conformity with the beneficial actions of Parijata reported in the management of sciatica.

एलोपैथी के साथ दे सकते हैं या नहीं यह नहीं कह सकते । लेकिन यह जरूर कह सकते हैं कि अगर साइटिका की प्रॉब्लम है तो पारिजात घन टैब्लॅट देनी चाहिए: 2-2 टैबलेट, दिन में 3 बार, 4 बार, 5 बार, 6 बार। ऐसे लगातार देते रहिए तो ज्यादातर पेशेंट्स में काफी फायदा आ जाता है।
