JWST, Euclid, Gaia... engineers and scientists are absolutely crushing it!
What are you saying, this is for it.😢

Beautiful! Thank you ESA 💙🖌
Thank you ESA (and Euclid) for sharing these great ultra sharp images with us!
Galaxy cluster Abell 2390 = 50000 galaxies, 50000 times our Milky Way, give or take...
Incredible and overwhelming... and this is only a small fraction of our universe!
100 years ago we thought that the Milky Way and some “strange nebulae” were our entire cosmos, and now we count billions of galaxies (only) in the visible range...
Thank you for whomever voiced the commentary, your wonderful Scottish accent makes such a refreshing change from many monotonous American deliveries🌈
Every spec a galaxy my mind cannot comprehend. Most beautiful things in the Universe
This is an understatement too.
And even the dark background is filled with even more galaxies that appear too faint to be seen!
Thanks for the titles with the names of the astronomical objects or clusters of galaxies.
I love Euclid's imagery!!
Awesome universe, perfectly beautiful, thank you ESA.
Absolutely beautiful, amazing, inspiring, jaw dropping, etc... Thank you Euclid and ESA!
ESA is fantastic 👍
Just wonderful, also the process done to the pictures, stunning, thanks for it !!!
Go ESA, go!
Imagine saying to someone in ancient Greece that there will be a huge telescope in space named after them 😅
Well Euclid was not a random "someone in ancient Greece". He was such a brilliant and unique mind that I have no doubt he would have comprehended the meaning of it on the spot, probably much better than most of the people today.
Awesome Video !!! Many Thanks to ESA For Sharing this Great Video.
Have an Nice Weekend All at ESA ❤.
Stunning and exciting!
Awesome!
So beautiful !! From Brazil.
Looking forward to more exciting news from Euclid.
It makes my mind wander endlessly as to what is really out there and how little we humans actually know about civilizations that have existed much longer than ours. Did they go through and find a way to live together on a small rock, in an ever-lasting peace. Something we need to do before we destroy this beautiful gift we have been given.
I love you ESA! Stunning images! Space is so fascinating, ESA!❤
With much respect and admiration for the ESA in USA, I just subscribed to your channel!
Thank you and welcome! ☺️
Hooray for ESA and for the role NASA plays in the mission too.🎉
These images are very sharp and clear❤❤❤
They are over processed to the point of being fiction
How can there not be alien life?
It seems to be a mathematical impossibility that we are alone the more and more we learn about the universe. Doubtful we will get confirmation of other intelligent life in our lifetime but I’m very confident it will happen
There is, 100%.
never really thought of where the light comes from in such a dark place
Thanks ESA. Very beautiful images 👍🌐🐱
Stunning progress the human race is making......amazing explanations for science are within, yet out there.
Luckily God only made life here on Earth because you can imagine the chaos the universe would be in if it had life elsewhere.
@@hulduoh so you know that claim for certain? Wow that is amazing you have this advanced knowledge.
So much better than my Seestar S50. 😳🤣
We don't learn anything about cosmos actually, but it's nice to see new pics
There are a lots of good things about humanity like ESA
Wonderful video!
Euclid's images are so much better than JWST's, but nobody even heard about it. ESA needs to do more marketing like NASA.
no reason for marketing, they should do more PR, so that Europeans realize ESA is a good investment maybe also increase the merchandise like nasa
They are different because is has different approach than JWST. JWST explore other things than Euclid. Euclid‘s images may be easier to enjoy by the public than JWST.
Le JWST et Euclid font de très belles images chacun à leur manière, ce n'est pas la même méthode d'observation.
Um. JWST isn’t just a NASA mission. It’s a joint mission between NASA and ESA. There are both NASA and ESA instruments and management is split between the two agencies. And did you forget that it was launched by an ESA Ariane 5?
I feel you. My heart skips a beat every time I see a fellow european with a NASA shirt/merch 🥲.
I love the Irish accent that ESA has taken on! Cheers
Awesome.
Mind blown.
Beautiful views.
Beauty 😍💙😍💙😍💙
Molt interessant!!!
Fantasticas imágenes
There has to be more life out there! But everything is so far! And life ends so fast in comparison to how long it takes us to learn how to get somewhere far away really fast. It might also be that it takes sooo long for life to evolve at a really high intellectual level, but once there it takes a very short time for a civilization to destroy itself. So, no time to send strong enough and universally understandable signals. Forever alone.
The universe is about humanity. There are more humans in our solar system not living on Earth than are living on Earth. We are by far not alone. Billions to trillions live on each star. Do the math.
Nice on 4K OLED, video gives vibes like the Astrum YT channel does.
This " doppleganger " of our own milky way galaxy is exciting . We can know what our own galaxy , which is a barred spiral , looks like from outside of it . Who knows what worlds call that place home .
Merci
space
I’m curious. On some of the stars, you see six diffraction spikes, as if there is a six-armed spider inside the optical path of the telescope. This is not surprising, although Hubble only has four diffraction spikes. But on some of the stars, it looks like there’s a seventh curved diffraction element, not quite a spike. What is that seventh curved element caused by?
Great question but I can’t answer it!
May I take some photos with it too? 😁 I am sure my Narrowband and RGB photos would profit a lot from the IR view of Euclid if I would screen them in. 😇
Thank very much for the video's Do you think why this limitless sky for us for planet earth?
This girl could talk me off a bridge and I'd still be stoked
I didn't know Euclid produced the six pointed flare around bright objects, like from JWST's Hexagonal mirrors.
Imagine if theres a planet like earth in NGC 6744 which harbours aliens similar to humans, that has a telescope like Euclid looking back at the milky way
Is Euclid going to be doing any planetary work?
Not an expert, but I don't think so. It is a survey telescope meant to take images of large portions of the sky, not drill in on specific planets. Its wide field of view would not have any particular advantages for viewing planets in our solar system, which would fit in the smaller field of view of other telescopes anyway. I also searched the ESA's Euclid "Red book", a detailed planning document, and it did not mention planetary studies, except for the possibility of extending the mission after the main mission is done to look survey the galactic bulge looking for gravitational microlensing events that could detect some exoplanets if things line up just right.
@@lethargogpeterson4083 Well, the resolution is certainly there if it can pull out detail like that in a galaxy and the Horse head nebula. I can imagine the detail we could get from Jupiter. If it's being used to pull out images from Orion, all of the Planets beyond Earth's orbit are available for viewing. You are right in thinking it would be a side project. But a worthwhile project to do. I suppose it really comes down to if the opportunity comes up, it will be acted upon by somebody. I wasn't really thinking about extensive studies just one off imaging opportunities. Astronomers do like side projects.
Exoplanets, perhaps?
while watching the pictures (which are great) i am wondering: I can axplain the spikes - these are from the secondary mirro spider. Bute every star has another reflection, quite a semiround "spike" - what is the reason for it?
Maybe a strange question but is the voice over voice the same as for the Arran whiskey presentation on youtube?
Aliens 👽 are everywhere in entire Universe
What do you mean "ripped away from their galaxies?"
That's just creative conjecture. Ignore it
@@kevinroylancephotography9437 That's a very unscientific line of thinking.
what is that dark bluish at 5:10
Elucid dreams
mamma mia
These are beautiful pictures. But it troubles me that assumptions are presented as facts.
Are you referring to Dark Matter and Dark Energy by any chance?
The 21st century version of Phlogiston?
Background music is too loud and goes on for too long.
How gravitational force acts??
Gravity is nothing but most permeable electric force! Think!!
🧗🚀
Quick someone copyright the Milky Way so we can make a planet load of money off any aliens that live there for stealing our galaxy
Euclid THE BEST Beautifful image OF Cosmo Galaxy.. Luseixas o louco, THE BEST ESA..🤔🤪🎻🎸🕳️🕳️🚥🛰️🛰️🛰️🪐🪐🔭🎸☀️☀️🌞🚀🚀🕳️🕳️🚥🚥
Wow, now I feel so small and insignificant...😟 But it was worth it! Thank you a million ESA!🤘Just amazing!
HYPOTHETICAL dark matter!
Unimpressed with sensationalization of observations looks to me like the ESA is on the same treatment as donald Trump sensationalising the mundane.
