It's comical that the Japanese G model (It essentially is one just with a J to denote Japanese service) was practically the same aircraft an it went down in BR & later got two extra missiles???? The decisions by the devs to place certain machines at these BR's is such a daft concept for me.

Man I am BEGGING you, please don’t let this topic die out. This has been such a horrible problem for the game for YEARS. 9.0 to 9.7 are almost completely unplayable, and have been since the introduction of the A-10 and Su-25. These 9.0-9.7 aircraft don’t even have a CONCEPT of what a flare even is, yet they fight all aspect 30G overload missiles, and 20g-25g overload RADAR missiles. I’m so so glad to see SOMEONE focusing on something important, instead of all of us wasting our time on a stupid fucking Armor plate for a single tank.
yeah this makes me sad all the time too because i love a lot of the fighters in that range but i just can’t play them. i have no clue how those planes are ever meant to go against all aspect missiles.

I was legitimately speechless when I saw youtubers showing off the new jets before the update dropped and their BR was STILL 12.3. Every single time I bring out the Mirage F1, and since Gaijin refuses to get off their asses and put a max BR indicator somewhere on the UI, I have to open the scoreboard and scan for F-15/Su-27/J-11/JAS39/ to find out if I'm gonna have a worse time than usual. It was already well past time to decompress when F-16s and Mig-29s were the top dogs. Now, it's just obscenely bad. More people than ever before are playing this goddamn game, so the excuse that queue times would get too long is straight up bullshit. And it kills me when I see people just blithely asking when AIM-120 or R77 are coming and it's like...at 12.3!? are you fucking insane? Yeah, 11.0 and 11.3 planes weren't terrible enough to play; please make it worse.
there’s no way they stay at 12.3 when the active radar stuff comes in but also they’ll probably just bump them up to 12.7 and call it a day which really isn’t good enough. id say with the planes we have right now we can easily go to 14.0.
It's not even that, anything above 11.3 might as well be a 12.3 game. It only takes on SU27 to completely destroy and fun you were going to have in your F4J. The F4J which i researched a week ago and have been literally unable to play... I have the F16C and F15, both spaded but top tier without the compression issue ain't fun so when you play a lower BR and get dragged into top tier anyway just makes me alt f4
@@mrcaboosevg6089 that’s the issue. top tier is the most played tier so you’re very likely to get sucked up into it. if you go down to 10.3 to avoid that mess you get permanently sucked up to 11.3 because of the premiums, against planes with pd radar and sarh missiles. then if you go down to 9.3 to avoid that mess, you get permanently sucked up to 10.3 because of f5cs and a10s/su25s. i really wish they’d fix this because every br range in mid to late jets has that one br that has a ton of premiums that ends up sucking up everything else into it, and it’s usually planes that have no right facing planes that advanced, like flare less planes vs all aspect. most jets are just basically unplayable. and they just keep relying on the queue times when i don’t remember the last time i waited more than 15 seconds for jets.

I get in the F4S or F4J and then spend every game against 12.3... It's like the only option is an uptier for me specifically. Always against higher BR planes unless i'm literally playing a plane that's 12.3. It's not a good system for anyone, it just feels like the game is always against you
@@mrcaboosevg6089 everyone is just more likely to get uptiered rather than doentiered. in a full uptier to 12.3 from 11.3 there can only be 4 12.3s on each team but that’s enough to ruin your game. however, since there are only 4 of them and many many many more games that are 12.0-12.3 it’s very unlikely you’ll find yourself to be one of the people that get downtiered but the people that are playing 11.3 will always get a few of those people that end up downtiered. it works the same way for 10.3-11.3 for example. as for 11.0, 12.0 is still much more popular than 11.0 which is why you get uptiered a lot. many people are still playing 12.0 to grind new 12.3
Yeah, decompression is much needed overall. Recently, i saw a video made by russian, he was flying j11, and then he saw, what his team is full of F4Ss, and he just said "ok im going to just rush the enemy team stupidly, because they are probably all flying F4Ss too". And he was playing really aggressive and no one could do anything about it. After match he said "And devs tell us we dont need 12.7". I believe everything was live commentary and not pre-recorded
Yeah, Su-27(or j-11) is a pure hell for any plane below 12.0, as well as f-15(any mod) and especially gripen, these planes are untouchable for lower tier planes and at the same time have FMs and missiles good enough to annihilate any 11.3-11.7 plane in a single click without even getting position etc like for example in 29A you have to get on someone’s 6 and then get closer than 800m to be ~80% sure that r-60m will hit while in gripen you can launch 9M from 3km side aspect and it will hit almost every time So even 12.7 is not enough, these planes should be at least 13.0 or 13.3 cause of all 11.7-12.0 planes only f-16a can kinda compete with these planes and only in gunfight which happens in 1 out of 10 games
Y’all just lack skill and situational awareness. Many prem jets or people who aren’t already at or haven’t played top tier lack it. People just need to get good Jumping into top tier doesent just have a monetary price. You also gotta learn how to excel. When you're in an F4S and you see SU27. You with your Aim-9H that pulls 18g and has zero flare resistance vs his R73 that pulls 40g off the fucking rail... It's ridiculous, even 12.0 can't compete with what they've added. I've just researched the F14 and the Tornado, both planes that i love but can't play for fear of losing my hair. 11.3 and 11.7, basically a no fun zone. You literally have to play like Tom Cruise to get one kill, if you ain't already spaded then you're simply fucked

I've been complaining on this on the forums on how Gaijin just seem to hate Italy, we have the Re.2005, The G.91Y and YS, the F-104 ASA at unfair brs, the Re.2005 is the most uptiered plane in the game and it keeps going up because of bad players complaining about it and the aircraft barely has any 5.0 performance but it sits at 6.0 thanks to trash players, the G.91YS, idk wtf is Gaijin thinking, the YS very often has to fight supersonics and it doesn't have any flares, is flight performance is not good and the guns don't hit anything past 500m heavily uptiered planes in the Italian tech tree, and then you have the F-104 ASA fighting 12.3s all the fucking time.
Toptier isnt the only issue but yeah it sure is terribly compressed. Su27/F15/Gripen at 12.3 is something i'll never understand, but we need to do something about 8.3 and 8.7 getting steamrolled every game by F-104As and other planes they simply cant touch.

I havent spaded the any sub sonics in the 9.0 to 10.0 br range because of that, even if you have the skill to to well in them some bs premium with all aspects can just point their noses on you and game over.
There is something funny and nostalgic about hearing that BR compression is an issue and remembering the same stuff being talked about back when the Hunter F1 was added... I'm getting old, just like war thunder, but like me, War Thunder just cant bother fixing some issues with itself :D
The whole update should've released at13.0, All F-15s, Su-27s and Gripens to 13.0.. All F-16s and MiG-29s to 12.7 and 12.3 so 11.0 is actually playable again, dont forget japan still has the worst performing F-4E Phantom fighting the best turning F-16s and MiG-29s.
Maybe a BR range change could help, from "+/-1.0" to only "+/- 0.4" from rank 6, but only in air so it would not effect CAS planes in mixed battles, and maybe decrease the max player numbers to 10 vs 10; so top Air RB wont look like rank 1 AB with AAMs?

If you reduce BR matchmaking range to 0.7, you solve 95% of Air's problems with compression. The worst problems are precisely at the 1.0 range. Most 0.7 uptiers are doable, if not easily playable...
maybe if they inplement decompresion. some jets can move up and get better weaponary like Q5A and L. they could get missiles and countermeasures or f111 get some better missiles at a higher BR
the 104 asa is. really bad for this honestly, only other thing that comes close is the F1 imo in terms of br compression depression - fights 9Ls and R60Ms every game without countermeasures - bad flight performance against stuff it sees, at leas the f104 can run away from things a bit - loses energy faster than the viggen loses fuel i'd rather be in a Crusader
People who say that they have no problem beating 12.3s in their 11.3 are missing the point aa always. I once beat an Su-27 in a dogfight with an F-4J, does that mean it's fine that they regularly see each other in the matchmaker when one plane is objectively better in every way?
Grinding the ASA right now and its just straight pain, endless bottom BR matches, the moment i have the ADF unlocked i will never touch this junk again until BR fixes are added.

They wont decompress until ground RB BRs are seperate from ARB. They wont make it so that you cannot birng your 13.3 F-16C intro a ground RB with a BR cap of 12.7
This is an issue that old airframes with modern weapons are going to face, they are never going to be that good. F-4EJ Kai struggles and the eventual F-4F Ice will struggle as well.
It should be a 12.3 and future 12.7 because it has the AN/ALQ-73. Gaijin just has yet to give it functionality. In short, it uses a radar jammer to avoid being hit by radar missiles. It should be a king at high altitude. (Kinda bullsh*t that they gave it almost no RWR functionality since it historically had no RWR, but didn't give it the ECM that was put in place of the RWR.)
Its so funny that the F104 is a horrific example of BR compression *on both ends*. The F104A is a disgusting monster which has been ruining 8.3, 8.7 (and honestly to an extent 9.3) lobbies for a while now, and then conversely this starfighter gets squeezed in to what is basically modern day air combat, truly terrible.
4 km is about right for ACM or you'd be locking onto everything the radar beam touches but the aircraft you're dogfighting. Also the American F-104s need to go up, too.
The matchmaker is terrible but I still enjoy it the most out of any Italy jet above Rank 6. My favored tactic is to stay in level flight at the start, and then climb vertically up to altitude to end up above people and dropping 9Ls on them from 3-4km. They're not 9Ms, but if I pick targets right it'll usually net a kill or two before I transition to basically just baiting head-ons for the rest of the match. As for the compression, it's a bit hilarious how glaring the issue is, even just looking at the Italian tech tree. The S.ASSY is underperforming, so it should maybe go down, but then it ends up the _same BR_ as the base 104S, which is much worse (as an airframe that relies on its kit with a much worse kit). So then maybe the argument is to move the 104S down as well (I find it's... okay), but then it's the same BR as the 104G, which again is _obviously_ a worse jet. That whole leapfrogging effect is literally what compression is, though, so there's nothing new. In a good world, I think the S.ASA would be two BR steps above the S, but right now there's almost an argument for them to be the same BR? How is that acceptable?
Happy someone else is bringing this up, there is no understanding or sympathy I can give Gaijin. Problems like this are blatant, common, and mandatory to suffer through. Gaijin will continue to give excuses as they pretend like this isn't some shitty way to entice people to buy top tier premiums to skip these said problems and get right to the good stuff. 2:02 Que times at top tier RB is pretty fast. There’s just allot of wallet warriors so 🤷🏼♂️ but for props i remember it being rlly rlly slow at times and rlly fast at others. Just rlly inconsistent tbh
2:06 Queues on SA servers suck. It takes at least 3 minutes to get a match in the middle of a weekday. And around a minute on weekends. You can only get quick queues in the afternoons and evenings. This isn't to say BR decompression shouldn't happen. Just that bad queue times are real

I don't know why they don't lower the BR in which you can be up or down tiered. Between 10.3 and 11.3 it's absolute hell in anything but the meta planes, recently i've been trying to play the F4E but it's next to impossible when just 0.3 BR higher than you are planes that are faster, have massively better radars and much better missiles... It's very quickly becoming no fun to play the game
G'day Lee, Ohh how I really want to enjoy the Aeritalia F-104S.ASA but its shortcomings thanks to BR compression makes me want to drink bleach... Decompression would be amazing & hell it definitely could work even if the devs cry about queue times (bruh 4 mins ain't bad for waiting for a match for it's what I often down in NF on a daily basis while AF at any BR is generally sub a min). On a sidenote what's a chance of making a video on another mildly ehh 11.3? The Dassault Mirage F1CT a rather dull aircraft imo being an attacker classed as a fighter & rather gimped compared to the fighter models of said mirage.

The F-104 S and TAF are not in a bad position as the ASA, the ASA 11.3 which we all know 11.3 does not exist in Gaijin matchmaking so you're sent to 12.0 right away, while the TAF and S are 11.0, your chances of getting a downtier to 10.7 are significantly greater, I play the F-104G and the TAF seems to be at 11.0-10.7 most of the time (I am an Italian main btw)
French/Italian main here. I played the F-104S TAF when it was first released and that thing is still my best plane to date. It was an incredibly fun plane because of the constant F-5C spammers that don’t pay attention. But since the BR changes. I agree… having fun in this plane is a bygone era. It’s sad. Now as for the Italian F-104S ASA. Yeaaaaa everything he said in the video is accurate and it suffers badly.

Speaking of the Italians, I’m still baffled as to why the sluggish, Korean War era Saggitario and Ariete are 9.0 and 9.3. It’s so slow to get up to speed and easy to lose it that it feels like flying a prop vs jets a lot of the time.
mainly their agility makes them hard as hell to hit, like the Spitfire Mk24, this is a prop at 7.0 so you are facing mostly, if not all jets... and its good because people try to dog fight you at low Alt, instead of going high... or.... running.
The F-104ASA is actually pretty good in Sim battles, when it is at a lower br and can be the max br of the brackets. Other than that its a straight downgrade to the 104S
Not really, all they have to do is move every vehicle capable of carrying strong missiles to 12.7, and downtier the one that can carry only aim-9L and below, so anything that can only carry aim-9Ls shouldn't be fighting a vehicle with Aim-9M, it's just unfair how they can simply flare the Aim-9L while you have to dump all your flares to avoid 1 aim-9M
gaijin is so complicit with there game it makes me sick, 10 years... still playing the same gamemodes and thats not even touching on br compression , how hard is it with the resources available to gaijin to give us something new or just even updated
03:44 f4s is fine, even for inexperienced players, just watch a couple vids learn how radar works you are set. The gameplay loop of f4s is much much simpler than even a prop aircraft you just got to learn it which is just 2 videos.
For a war thunder veteran like me its pretty hard playing with good jets like mig-23ml when im full up tier I cant even start imagining how it is playing with a brick which aint faster or more maneuverable... Its a friggin game not real life it should be much more fair and balanced the BRs should reach as high as 13+ and in the future it must go above that!!! God damn snail deserves a boycott bigger than the last one

br compression is better but still horrible we should at least be at 13.0 or 13.3 space out 9.0s seeing aim 9L and r-60mk and 9.3 also space from all aspect missiles. Also 11.3 from 12.3 . I think B.R compression, while still bad, it's at the best state in years, especially at top tier. Most 11.3 fighters (notice "figthers") are passable enough and/or have some advantages you can exploit.
I also like (no) how i seemingly get an 11.3 match in an F4S (my team is all 11.3) but then the enemy f16 and mig 29 show up. stop fucking lying gaijin, your matchmaking is trash either way. i got a burnout from completing the winter event in an F4S playing those top tier games. the 9.0-9.7 uptier is tough yet still playable, the planes there can still compete in some characteristics even without flares/good missiles, it's a skill requirement still, while in 11.3 uptier your result is decided by pure luck, because jets in 12.0-12.3 are better in all aspects (radar, flight model, weaponry). And with that, you really need to rely on the enemy's misplays or situations to do your kills. so yeah, you get a couple of kills if you're lucky, then you most likely get rinsed. the whole experience. snail, fix the fucking game, it's become a torture simulator, not a military one.
I cannot stress this enough but! There can be NO AIR decompression until GROUND gets addressed stuff like Pantsir are 11.7 no aircraft should go above what we have now until it and things like it go to 13.0+

Hell i've aced it......once lol right now its so bad at Arb i die instantly to head on missiles at the start of the match. I live long enough to make it to the battlefield then die to a F15,F16,pick a mig from 23ml to 29,su27s,mirages. In fact soon as the enmy sees me they go for me. In fact the day before i got the mirage 2000 s4,i died 30 times in row to head on missiles. Lol yes i know SKILL ISSUE! HA! skill issue my butt. If the ADTW had the radar of the F4 EJ kai or F4j or F4S it could be more competitive. Skill issue. Ah sorry i needed to vent. I wanna rip my hair out. Recently, i saw a video made by russian, he was flying j11, and then he saw, what his team is full of F4Ss, and he just said "ok im going to just rush the enemy team stupidly, because they are probably all flying F4Ss too". And he was playing really aggressive and no one could do anything about it. After match he said "And devs tell us we dont need 12.7". I believe everything was live commentary and not pre-recorded
Yeah, Su-27(or j-11) is a pure hell for any plane below 12.0, as well as f-15(any mod) and especially gripen, these planes are untouchable for lower tier planes and at the same time have FMs and missiles good enough to annihilate any 11.3-11.7 plane in a single click without even getting position etc like for example in 29A you have to get on someone’s 6 and then get closer than 800m to be ~80% sure that r-60m will hit while in gripen you can launch 9M from 3km side aspect and it will hit almost every time
So even 12.7 is not enough, these planes should be at least 13.0 or 13.3 cause of all 11.7-12.0 planes only f-16a can kinda compete with these planes and only in gunfight which happens in 1 out of 10 games

When you're in an F4S and you see SU27. You with your Aim-9H that pulls 18g and has zero flare resistance vs his R73 that pulls 40g off the fucking rail... It's ridiculous, even 12.0 can't compete with what they've added. I've just researched the F14 and the Tornado, both planes that i love but can't play for fear of losing my hair. 11.3 and 11.7, basically a no fun zone. You literally have to play like Tom Cruise to get one kill, if you ain't already spaded then you're simply fucked

I've been complaining on this on the forums on how Gaijin just seem to hate Italy, we have the Re.2005, The G.91Y and YS, the F-104 ASA at unfair brs, the Re.2005 is the most uptiered plane in the game and it keeps going up because of bad players complaining about it and the aircraft barely has any 5.0 performance but it sits at 6.0 thanks to trash players, the G.91YS, idk wtf is Gaijin thinking, the YS very often has to fight supersonics and it doesn't have any flares, is flight performance is not good and the guns don't hit anything past 500m heavily uptiered planes in the Italian tech tree, and then you have the F-104 ASA fighting 12.3s all the fucking time.

Toptier isnt the only issue but yeah it sure is terribly compressed. Su27/F15/Gripen at 12.3 is something i'll never understand, but we need to do something about 8.3 and 8.7 getting steamrolled every game by F-104As and other planes they simply cant touch.

There is something funny and nostalgic about hearing that BR compression is an issue and remembering the same stuff being talked about back when the Hunter F1 was added... I'm getting old, just like war thunder, but like me, War Thunder just cant bother fixing some issues with itself :D

Maybe a BR range change could help, from "+/-1.0" to only "+/- 0.4" from rank 6, but only in air so it would not effect CAS planes in mixed battles, and maybe decrease the max player numbers to 10 vs 10; so top Air RB wont look like rank 1 AB with AAMs?

If you reduce BR matchmaking range to 0.7, you solve 95% of Air's problems with compression. The worst problems are precisely at the 1.0 range. Most 0.7 uptiers are doable, if not easily playable...
maybe if they inplement decompresion. some jets can move up and get better weaponary like Q5A and L. they could get missiles and countermeasures or f111 get some better missiles at a higher BR
They need to make it so you only face 0.4 above/below your BR instead of 1.0

BR compression is not an issue, its a goal to drive premium sales. Queue times are important but they also are convenient scapegoat.
People who say that they have no problem beating 12.3s in their 11.3 are missing the point aa always. I once beat an Su-27 in a dogfight with an F-4J, does that mean it's fine that they regularly see each other in the matchmaker when one plane is objectively better in every way?

They wont decompress until ground RB BRs are seperate from ARB. They wont make it so that you cannot birng your 13.3 F-16C intro a ground RB with a BR cap of 12.7
This is an issue that old airframes with modern weapons are going to face, they are never going to be that good. F-4EJ Kai struggles and the eventual F-4F Ice will struggle as well.
It should be a 12.3 and future 12.7 because it has the AN/ALQ-73. Gaijin just has yet to give it functionality. In short, it uses a radar jammer to avoid being hit by radar missiles. It should be a king at high altitude. (Kinda bullsh*t that they gave it almost no RWR functionality since it historically had no RWR, but didn't give it the ECM that was put in place of the RWR.)
Its so funny that the F104 is a horrific example of BR compression *on both ends*. The F104A is a disgusting monster which has been ruining 8.3, 8.7 (and honestly to an extent 9.3) lobbies for a while now, and then conversely this starfighter gets squeezed in to what is basically modern day air combat, truly terrible.

The matchmaker is terrible but I still enjoy it the most out of any Italy jet above Rank 6. My favored tactic is to stay in level flight at the start, and then climb vertically up to altitude to end up above people and dropping 9Ls on them from 3-4km. They're not 9Ms, but if I pick targets right it'll usually net a kill or two before I transition to basically just baiting head-ons for the rest of the match.
As for the compression, it's a bit hilarious how glaring the issue is, even just looking at the Italian tech tree. The S.ASSY is underperforming, so it should maybe go down, but then it ends up the _same BR_ as the base 104S, which is much worse (as an airframe that relies on its kit with a much worse kit). So then maybe the argument is to move the 104S down as well (I find it's... okay), but then it's the same BR as the 104G, which again is _obviously_ a worse jet. That whole leapfrogging effect is literally what compression is, though, so there's nothing new. In a good world, I think the S.ASA would be two BR steps above the S, but right now there's almost an argument for them to be the same BR? How is that acceptable?
Happy someone else is bringing this up, there is no understanding or sympathy I can give Gaijin. Problems like this are blatant, common, and mandatory to suffer through. Gaijin will continue to give excuses as they pretend like this isn't some shitty way to entice people to buy top tier premiums to skip these said problems and get right to the good stuff. 2:02 Que times at top tier RB is pretty fast. There’s just allot of wallet warriors so 🤷🏼♂️ but for props i remember it being rlly rlly slow at times and rlly fast at others. Just rlly inconsistent tbh
2:06 Queues on SA servers suck. It takes at least 3 minutes to get a match in the middle of a weekday. And around a minute on weekends. You can only get quick queues in the afternoons and evenings. This isn't to say BR decompression shouldn't happen. Just that bad queue times are real

I don't know why they don't lower the BR in which you can be up or down tiered. Between 10.3 and 11.3 it's absolute hell in anything but the meta planes, recently i've been trying to play the F4E but it's next to impossible when just 0.3 BR higher than you are planes that are faster, have massively better radars and much better missiles... It's very quickly becoming no fun to play the game

Decompression would be amazing & hell it definitely could work even if the devs cry about queue times (bruh 4 mins ain't bad for waiting for a match for it's what I often down in NF on a daily basis while AF at any BR is generally sub a min).
On a sidenote what's a chance of making a video on another mildly ehh 11.3? The Dassault Mirage F1CT a rather dull aircraft imo being an attacker classed as a fighter & rather gimped compared to the fighter models of said mirage.
I'll consider making a video on it, but not much has changed on it since the last time I covered the premium F1C. Definitely keep it in mind though!

The F-104 S and TAF are not in a bad position as the ASA, the ASA 11.3 which we all know 11.3 does not exist in Gaijin matchmaking so you're sent to 12.0 right away, while the TAF and S are 11.0, your chances of getting a downtier to 10.7 are significantly greater, I play the F-104G and the TAF seems to be at 11.0-10.7 most of the time (I am an Italian main btw)
French/Italian main here. I played the F-104S TAF when it was first released and that thing is still my best plane to date. It was an incredibly fun plane because of the constant F-5C spammers that don’t pay attention. But since the BR changes. I agree… having fun in this plane is a bygone era. It’s sad. Now as for the Italian F-104S ASA. Yeaaaaa everything he said in the video is accurate and it suffers badly.

Speaking of the Italians, I’m still baffled as to why the sluggish, Korean War era Saggitario and Ariete are 9.0 and 9.3. It’s so slow to get up to speed and easy to lose it that it feels like flying a prop vs jets a lot of the time.
mainly their agility makes them hard as hell to hit, like the Spitfire Mk24, this is a prop at 7.0 so you are facing mostly, if not all jets... and its good because people try to dog fight you at low Alt, instead of going high... or.... running.
The F-104ASA is actually pretty good in Sim battles, when it is at a lower br and can be the max br of the brackets. Other than that its a straight downgrade to the 104S
The ASA is unfair compared to F15s and Jas39s, they should move the F104 to 12.7

Not really, all they have to do is move every vehicle capable of carrying strong missiles to 12.7, and downtier the one that can carry only aim-9L and below, so anything that can only carry aim-9Ls shouldn't be fighting a vehicle with Aim-9M, it's just unfair how they can simply flare the Aim-9L while you have to dump all your flares to avoid 1 aim-9M
gaijin is so complicit with there game it makes me sick, 10 years... still playing the same gamemodes and thats not even touching on br compression , how hard is it with the resources available to gaijin to give us something new or just even updated

03:44 f4s is fine, even for inexperienced players, just watch a couple vids learn how radar works you are set. The gameplay loop of f4s is much much simpler than even a prop aircraft you just got to learn it which is just 2 videos.

For a war thunder veteran like me its pretty hard playing with good jets like mig-23ml when im full up tier I cant even start imagining how it is playing with a brick which aint faster or more maneuverable... Its a friggin game not real life it should be much more fair and balanced the BRs should reach as high as 13+ and in the future it must go above that!!! I think B.R compression, while still bad, it's at the best state in years, especially at top tier. Most 11.3 fighters (notice "figthers") are passable enough and/or have some advantages you can exploit.
I also like (no) how i seemingly get an 11.3 match in an F4S (my team is all 11.3) but then the enemy f16 and mig 29 show up. stop fucking lying gaijin, your matchmaking is trash either way. i got a burnout from completing the winter event in an F4S playing those top tier games.
the 9.0-9.7 uptier is tough yet still playable, the planes there can still compete in some characteristics even without flares/good missiles, it's a skill requirement still, while in 11.3 uptier your result is decided by pure luck, because jets in 12.0-12.3 are better in all aspects (radar, flight model, weaponry). And with that, you really need to rely on the enemy's misplays or situations to do your kills. so yeah, you get a couple of kills if you're lucky, then you most likely get rinsed. the whole experience.
