everybody was nervouse about this leeds team, because nobody knew how they made it to the finals... 2 half dead bayern players later, there where no questions left.
nobody knew how that referee came to referee the final. 2 stone wall decisions which went in favour of Bayern later, there were no no questions who had been bribing the ref.

Im not Leeds.I watched it live though.Leeds were robbed.Penalty when franz brought clarke down.Franz admitted it later.The goal wasnt offside either.Referee was dodgy,working it with the krauts.He was struck off a year later for match fixing.Says it all really.The match should have been clarified void.

@@FriedrichKNobel nonsense both didnt warrent sending off this was 75 clear the ref was bought 2 clear pens totally good goal disallowed how much did fcB pay the ref (he was never allowed to ref at level again and was done for taking bribes as he clearlly did in this match)

Forget the mythbuilding. The fact speak for another story. Yorath sent off after 3 minutes, horrible foul by that bstrd. You could hear Anderssons bone cracking. Around the 10min Jordan gives Durnberger the typical Leeds elbow in the face. Well that was 75 style, isnt it. Not really. Even then red cards. Leeds two men down already. The ref was a blind clown. Bayern scored 2 legit goals and Bremner was offside and in front of Maier. (level was offside in 75, isnt it?). So Beckenbauers foul was a penalty, thats the only wrong decision against Leeds. The other wrong decisions were against Bayern. BTW why McQueen did not play in the final? Leeds style? He could have saved it.

@@cemiltatari6804 Hoeness suffered a serious knee injury - he was able to recover somewhat and carry on playing but eventually had to retire at 27.

All these Leeds fans complaining they were robbed. Yet they still played with 11 men instead of 9. Nothing about the brutal fouls that ended 2 careers? Sure there was at least 1 penalty, and that shot should stand by today's standards, but the offside rule was different back then. I've seen goals cancelled because one guy was 1 meter offside in the corner of the field, 20 meters away from where the ball was being played, nothing to do with the play. In this goal at least the Leeds player was in front of goal.
Would those penalty claims and goal even happen if in minute 3 a red card was shown?
