Merry Christmas Deborah! I hope Owen's doctor can help with his skin allergy. Maybe you could try knitting hats and mittens in a cotton yarn to help with him overheating indoors. Poor little guy. His mittens are however so adorable. He is lucky to have you as his Grandma.
Thank you for talking about the different kinds of yarns. I have a question that I'm not sure if you know the answer to. When yarn is in a skein, how do you tell if it's micro striped? It wasn't labeled as such when i bought it online and i didn't know how to tell. Also, i don't know if you saw my question on a different podcast. I'd like to know if those doodle card designs would work on a bandana style cowl like the Tellybean Knits designs?
That’s a great question! I’ll address your microstriped question in my next video. I did see your comment about the Stelly Bean Knits cowl and thought I had answered it. Perhaps I intended to but didn’t. I think they would work great because her cowls have straight sections ideal for that. The only issue would be along the center point increases. You would need to adapt for that.
