Some of the symptoms of Ala agwu you mentioned, are similar to mysterious behaviors of a family member which no one can explain. Especially the isolation of oneself. Yes, we have Chi within us and then there is Chi-Ukwu (contracted to Chukwu, which means the Supreme Chi), which can also be referred to as Chineke (Chi that creates or the Supreme creator).
Right, only Chukwu and Chineke are different. Chiukwu is the 'Chi' in 'Chi'neke. They other element is Eke. Chineke is God and Chukwu is an aspect of God but can also be a name for God (if that's not too confusing). Have you seen my Chineke explained video?

This article describes the chi as a person's luck/fate. A few proverbs were used to explain. “Chi ya egbuo ya”. “His god has killed/punished him” or “his luck has failed him” “Onye kariri mmadu kariri Chi ya” “He who is greater than a person is greater than the person’s god/luck/fate” The article told a story of a wrestler called Dimgba who defeated his chi which destroyed himself. I'm not sure if that story is popular but it caught my attention as that's my name. The article also continues on to explain that names that include the word chi can be translated to include the word luck but is now mostly translated to mean the Christian God. So I just wanted your opinion on this. And maybe you can talk about it in future videos if you can. So grateful for this channel and these videos.

The wood used is more important and impactful than what is even carved later on. Certain trees have a special mmuo, and this gives them power be it in the forming of tools like Ikenga, or in medicine. Pay attention to what wood is used for what item and you will understand the power and meaning of the item a lot more.

The phrasing that's used is to 'work with agwu' or 'make peace with agwu' so I don't believe it goes away, it just occupies a healthier, more mutually cooperative space in your life and mind

Yes chi is the spirit which is orî among the Yoruba the akans sunsum okra it is the soul earlier
