You didn't miss it! This video did not have a premier. Tune in Saturday March 25 at 17:10 EDT for the second video in this series: Installing a Tire with The Garbage Bag Trick. The Saturday video DOES have a Premier!
Our Model A club has a special tire mounting box we made - using some scrap 2x4s and a 36"x36" piece of plywood with a 9" round hole in the middle. We covered the surface with some scrap carpet and viola! A great surface for mounting/dismounting tires.
The valve stem grommets are available on Amazon. Search "valve stem bushing tr15" You can probably find something even better elsewhere. Also be aware that valve stems can be different diameters. The rim Protectors are also available, search "motorcycle rim protector"
Model A owner from San Antonio here. Just found your channel. Keep up the good work! 👍🏽
Thanks for the encouragement! I hope to have more Model A content in future; my brother is restoring a 31 pickup
Dang it! I missed the premier. That was a great how-to. Now I'll be daydreaming about a set of wires for the T. Cheers

Thanks for answering so quickly!!!
I liked the video. Where do I buy a set of those rim guards for my 1930 19” wheels?
Look up "motorcycle rim protectors" on Amazon
Where did you get the yellow rim protectors? I haven't been able to find them.
"motorcycle rim protectors" on Amazon
Does this technique work with wood artillery clincher type wheels?
I am told it does work with Clinchers. But I have no direct experience with them. Please let me know, if you try it!
Where do i buy the yellow covers?
They are called motorcycle rim protectors or rim guards. I got them on Amazon
Um, “No tools?”… 🤷🏽♂️
No tools installing tire (other video) but I haven't found a way to unmount without tools yet. Thanks for watching
