Nice review, waiting for the long term feedback. Could you do a comparison with the other top Sidi models? Sidi sixty and Wire 2 carbon? Thanks

Nice review however I wish you would have shown us how the new retention system works differently.

I purchase fizik shoes normally in a 46.5, I and was looking to purchase a pair of sidi wire carbon 2. But I am unsure of the sizing compared to the fizik VENTO STABILITA CARBON. What do you recommend for sizing? Should I get the same size like you purchased or do you recommend a different shoe. Why did you switch from fizik? What are your thoughts on fizik shoes compared to sidi and specialized?

I would try the show if you can... I went 46.5 on Fizik/Specialized, and 47 on the Sidi.

Thanks for the video, Mitch. Do the techno 3 tighteners on the tongue make it more difficult to get a tight fit? With my Shot 2 SIDIs there's almost no tongue showing when they're fully adjusted because I have to tighten it down almost all the way (same size as you, 47, just a narrow foot maybe). Obviously they made the tongue channel wider but it doesn't seem like a lot of adjustability. Seems like smaller shoes don't have this problem as much.

Yup. Same here. All buckle and little tongue showing once tightened down.

I’m interested in the supposed improvement of the sole around the metatarsal area resulting in improved power transfer or some such marketing speak. Do you notice any difference? Thx...

It’s a carbon sole... very stiff and excellent power transfer. I doubt it’s any different than the Shot variety other than simple clear adjustability improvements. No complaints so far though.

Many believe that... I will be the exception to the rule!

Great shoes, I am considering buying them but I don't know which size would be better for foot length 29cm. What size would you recommend 46 or 47? Did you change shoe insoles?

I can’t recommend a size. Your best bet is to try them on… I will say that they did fit a littler bigger than previous Sidi 47’s I’ve had. I kept the stock insoles.
