@@ethans9447 because the Flash "disappearing in a flash of light" that the headline says, was him and RF going back to the night of Nora's murder as seen in Season 1. While RF was there, he ended up being depleted of the Speed Force and thus assumed Wells identity and engineered the events of Season 1 masquerading as Wells. I believe the Crisis made Thawne, whats called as a living paradox. Meaning he could kill Barry and still exist. Thats why he went to Barry as a kid to kill him when he could not be opposed by The Flash. But Barry followed him and saved his own life but when the old timeline was changed, 2024 Flash ceased to exist.

I've seen some people get angry that Thawne got beat by the team so quickly but I think it makes sense 1. They have the numbers game and teamwork 2. Thawne has been in prison, not using his powers for 15 years 3. He let himself get cocky 4. He absolutely wrecked Nora and Barry beforehand so they definitely needed the full team to beat him
Frost is probably one of the few who can take Thawne down alone. Remember, she froze Black Flash solid and Black Flash is more powerful than Thawne, as evidenced by their little cat and mouse chase through time in Legends, how terrified he was of Black Flash catching him, and how easily Black Flash took him out at the end of it.

Well this team-up with Team Flash was great. I think here we get to see the team well prepared and anticipating every move from Eobard Thawne. They definitely came close to stopping Thawne but he definitely had an ace up his sleeve.

3:12 I'm sorry but can we talk about Frost's face here? The realization of what's happening is all over her face and she looks so sad and upset and shocked. Can we also take a minute to appreciate the different faces of the people who know what's happening and those who don't. Frost, Cisco, Barry, and Iris have all seen this before. They know what it means. They all have a sense of shock and oh shit written on their faces. But Nora and Ralph? They have no fucking clue what's happening. They couldn't possibly know less. Nora is really confused and scared of the unknown while Ralph looks like he's not really sure what's going on and why everyone is reacting so severely to it. Really great acting on the parts of the actors and amazing how well they know their characters and what they have been through respectively.

It’s not about cheating death. It’s about cheating the timeline reset. The reverse flash used it numerous times to keep himself safe from any changes to the time stream that he altered. And he was trying to tempt Nora into going there knowing full well that it’s energies would corrupt her and make her exactly like him. So in essence he would gain a daughter in Nora and steal her from Barry. And he would even corrupt Barry as well since he told him to take her there. The plan within a plan within a plan.
Even though Flash season 5 was up & down, the latter half of this season plus the season finale truly made up for it !! I was so happy that Reverse Flash was brought back! He's the ultimate Flash villain !!

@@marvelgeekie9897 Well he's basically the Iron Man of the Arrowverse. Makes sense for him to make the biggest sacrifice and it really shows how selfless and heroic he's become since season 1. Plus, it's Arrow's final season and Felicity eventually asks the Monitor to take her to her husband. His children are also becoming heroic and he's left a legacy of good, so I'd say it's a fitting ending for him.
I’m pretty sure this is thawn at full power. Considering the fact in Season 1 Gideon told thawn his connection to the speed force was only at 40% when he put on the tachyon device. I really want to see what thawn can really do with the power of plot on Barry’s side

Okay season 1 thawn only had like 35% percent of his power because he lost his power when he deleted the flash from the time line, but was slowly gaining it back as he repaired it restoring timeline events. This must be Thawn at 100% and man he does not disappoint, makes me wonder how much more Barry's speed will improve to match him.

Iris, Ralph, Cisco, and Caitlin all cram into the time sphere together; and I thought it looked wierd when Iris was in the time sphere and Ralph used his stretching powers to go into the time sphere, flattening himself against the inside of the bubble (which I'd assumed he did to keep it from getting crowded, since time sphere's only designed to hold one person).

Honestly this season was pretty average but seeing Tom cavanagh as reverse flash again was honestly just my favourite thing, he’s my favourite villain from all the dc tv shows and Tom cavanagh is my favourite tv actor. It was such a breath of fresh air to see him back, and I hope we get a villain on his level again next season
It still takes all this to beat him. 😂 as much as I love zoom and the other speedsters, I still wonder if we even know how fast reverse flash really is. He seems not only as fast as Barry every time we see him, but really faster again here. They looked even in the nazi crossover, but he looks faster again here. Yea it doesnt make sense, in season 4 after they got Barry out of the speedforce prison, cisco said that Barry was the fastest speedster they encountered so far meaning faster than thawne and yet even after thawne was running from 2 speedsters at the same time using speed mirage they still werent fast enough to catch up to him

And he was trying to tempt Nora into going there knowing full well that it’s energies would corrupt her and make her exactly like him. So in essence he would gain a daughter in Nora and steal her from Barry. And he would even corrupt Barry as well since he told him to take her there. The plan within a plan within a plan.

@@marvelgeekie9897 Well he's basically the Iron Man of the Arrowverse. Makes sense for him to make the biggest sacrifice and it really shows how selfless and heroic he's become since season 1. Plus, it's Arrow's final season and Felicity eventually asks the Monitor to take her to her husband. His children are also becoming heroic and he's left a legacy of good, so I'd say it's a fitting ending for him.

Okay season 1 thawn only had like 35% percent of his power because he lost his power when he deleted the flash from the time line, but was slowly gaining it back as he repaired it restoring timeline events. This must be Thawn at 100% and man he does not disappoint, makes me wonder how much more Barry's speed will improve to match him.
He technically already improved enough to match him. During the Earth X crossover Barry was faring a lot better than before and even managed to overpower and corner Thawne at the end

If you guys read the comics, this is the first time that they actually show a new ability on screen. This is not Speed Mirage or Time Remnant. People call it Speed Clone, and its a ability where you can actually create yourself a clone just by speed, and there's one speedster who can do that. Godspeed.

Iris, Ralph, Cisco, and Caitlin all cram into the time sphere together; and I thought it looked wierd when Iris was in the time sphere and Ralph used his stretching powers to go into the time sphere, flattening himself against the inside of the bubble (which I'd assumed he did to keep it from getting crowded, since time sphere's only designed to hold one person).

Honestly this season was pretty average but seeing Tom cavanagh as reverse flash again was honestly just my favourite thing, he’s my favourite villain from all the dc tv shows and Tom cavanagh is my favourite tv actor. It was such a breath of fresh air to see him back, and I hope we get a villain on his level again next season

Yea it doesnt make sense, in season 4 after they got Barry out of the speedforce prison, cisco said that Barry was the fastest speedster they encountered so far meaning faster than thawne and yet even after thawne was running from 2 speedsters at the same time using speed mirage they still werent fast enough to catch up to him
