I love dolphins. 🥰 When I was living in Virginia Beach one summer (1974), a decent size group of them would travel down beach in the AM & up beach around 4-5 PM. We swam out to them every other day, not too close until they got use to us. Once they did, they would pause their journey & interact with us for a short time. Moms of small babies always swam between us & them. That's probably the coolest memory I have to look back on. 🐬

This is really exciting work, and the idea that we will be able to actually communicate in a real and meaningful way with another species is phenomenal. This could open up so much about our world it could change everything. Thank you so much for sharing this.🖤🇨🇦

Happy birthday "STEVE IRWIN" (February 22, 1962)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Rest in peace. We love you and miss you 🐊
"We don't own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife." -Steve Irwin
"If we teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save the things they love." -Steve Irwin.

Amen, Steve Irwin!!! God gave us Dominion over the earth and all it's life -- that is a GREAT privilege, as well as a GREAT responsibility for which we are ACCOUNTABLE!!!!
We are to CARE + NURTURE Mother Earth + all her glory, wonder!!! It is beyond time we stepped up + assumed our duties conscientiously + wisely!!!
BUT BY NO MEANS UN AGENDA 2030!!!! This is CORRUPT as the devil himself!!!!!
(I know -- too many exclamation points, but the fact is this is IMPERATIVE. IF we don't start SOON to repair + alleviate the damages we have caused, earth will become unlivable, uninhabitable. We must take care of the earth, for it to take care of us. It's that simple + existential. )

The ending of this video feels like, what the Moon was for world exploration... Just for Biology. Actually beeing able to communicate via a language with an other species would be a stepping stone in behavior analysis that could only be surpassed by communicating with a species on our intellectual/technological level... Aka aliens.
    Incredible

I have a great deal of respect for the work and found this a great documentary !
I do however find it interesting and rather amusing that humans try everything possible to understand dolphins, yet there are so many animal communicators out there in the world and in indigenous times, who could understand and speak to animals, but they don't look in that direction.
I personally feel working on ones consciousness will be a lot more powerful to understand our animal family, than some non-natural device for the greatest technology is our consciousness.
My prayers are one day the colonial mindset, finally humbles itself to the way of the ancient ones.

How have these animals not been eaten to extinction? According to Google most sea predators are faster than them. The bottlenose dolphin 22mph, Hammerhead Shark 25mph, Great White Shark 35mph, Blue Shark 43mph, Killer Whale 35mph.

So there are a few rich capitalists who make “students” at a university invent something to communicate with dolphins for FREE because they are “just students”?? That way the few rich capitalists don’t have to spend lots of their own HOARDED MONEY? And those students don’t get PAID anything?? This is why I despise capitalism! Everyone should have a Universal Basic Income, for EQUAL WEALTH WORLDWIDE, so no one is tricked into being gullible slaves who help rich capitalists keep more of their hoarded wealth!! While the “university students” are still ending up with huge student DEBT that they will probably never get paid off, and they might never even get a stupid WAGE JOB in their entire life, but they’ve ended up as “homeless bums” even though they helped the evil greedy capitalist dogs still hoard all of their wealth which they didn’t work for or EARN, it was just given to them for free, because that’s how capitalism works!? This is insane! Billions of people are starving to death because of these subtle capitalists LIES! We must destroy capitalism! DONT BUY ANYTHING! And have EQUAL WEALTH WORLDWIDE! And we should eliminate all military and weapons and vehicles, and use that $777.7 BILLION to give everyone a Universal Basic Income worldwide! Just think of equality, and ending wage slavery because it is slavery and illegal! Do NOT BUY anything for 1-20+++ years until we destroy capitalism and profits and unequal wealth worldwide! USA owes a UBI to every person on earth because USA killed (30-50) millions of people worldwide to force every nation INTO SLAVERY to make a few rich people richer! Then start building only Tower cities connected to maglev Trains worldwide if we want to save the earth! See “Rogue State” by Wm Blum and many more at Third World Traveler! And see CORPWATCH.
Tell people they can’t really imagine what their future great great great great grandchildren will be forced to be homeless because capitalists are eliminating all jobs with automation! What we do today can destroy all mankind with capitalism! You can’t imagine that you will have descendants for thousands of years to come, just like we are descended from our thousands of descendants that came before us! And we’re all related somewhere back in time! That’s the only reason anyone is alive today! Destroy capitalism today! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!
Who PAYS theses “scientists” to do this research for 30-40 years?
    Universities? Corporations? Which and who?
What a “JOB”! Most people worldwide can’t get easy fun cushy JOBS for a wage! They starve to death!
But if billions who are starving could get JOBS they could have been scientists and doctors,

You’re teaching them to trust humans, a species that has not proven itself to respect life and the habitats of others. I’m sure you mean well, but the people you share your data with might use it to destroy these majestic creatures one day.

Why? These scientists are respectful of these dauphins. These dauphins are STILL WILD + WILL REMAIN WILD! The objective is to learn about dauphin behavior, while respecting their "boundaries," their habitat, making sure they thrive while we learn from them.
