As much as i loved watching these films, (well i actually watched some clips on TH-cam) but as much as I loved watching these films, the cockroach scene scared and grossed out the absolute fuck out of me! When i first saw it i didn't freak out because i didn't know what i was looking at but then when i saw rest of the transformation OMG! *shudders*!
I'm with you 💯%, that scene almost gave me nightmares.

In Debbie's defense, that's how much roaches terrify her. Granted, I wouldn't smash one to the point that the atoms can't remain but it's not uncommon for someone to get that freaked out.
Seeing her twist her foot like that always creeped me out. Its so gross just imagining the roach is being mushed into pieces. Ew

Many larger roaches take several stomps to actually kill. Plus, I can't blame her for freaking out, for a roach to suddenly be IN HER FOOD is a hideous concept.
