Hey all! Hope you enjoy the new episode. The channel is so close to 100K subscribers now (which is absolutely insane considering where it was a few months ago). If you haven’t subscribed yet and are enjoying the content then please help me hit this huge milestone! Much love to you all.
Love to see you on the rise, its well deserved
@@sneedmasterflsh cheers!
Really good to listen to your voice when you tell these horrifying stories. Well done on your subscriptions! May there be many more 😊
You deserve the success, this is great content that clearly has a lot of effort behind it. Keep it up!
You deserve these subscribers!! As an early subscriber I'm happy to see this channel growing so rapidly!! Keep the Tapes coming my friend!!
I live in Alaska and close to the area, I’ll have to go check it out.
Please update for us afterwards.
@@seanrosenau2088 will do. Can’t go right now it’ll have to be a few months when the snow melts.
@@ceruleannomad3922 Awesome. Cool stuff like that is worth waiting for.
...... And they were never seen again.
Famous last words
Definitely a yes to the ghost town series.
Screw this. I live in Wyoming, it's 3am, cold and snowing this morning, and I'm starting my day while listening to this. The presentation, the music, the setting. I'm completely uneasy right now. Been awhile since I've found a channel that actually creeps me out. Good job.
Glad I could bring the creeps!
I hate to be the one who brings this up, but... DID YOU JUST HEAR THAT?!
@@dredgerivers7730 .............yes I did.
This is the 4th telling of Portlock, Alaska that I’ve heard, and the best so far. Well worth the listen. ✌️
Same and agreed. There wee historical details left out, that this is definitely the best dramatic telling by far! Thank you!
Discovered this channel about 3 weeks ago, and now it's the first place I check when I open TH-cam or Spotify. I can never get enough of listening to all the unexplained or paranormal events.😁
I’ve flown and worked in the area around Portlock for the last 45 years and I’ve seen bears, wolves, lynx, wolverine, mink, moose, you name it, but never a Bigfoot.
Guess they aren’t real then!
I’ve scuba dived for over 35 years in Oceans across the World, but have never encountered a Great White Shark……Thankfully!
Okay, but you can go and see one easily enough if you have the time and resources. Also there thousands of clear photos of great whites, and lots of high quality videos, plus all the DNA you could want to prove they exist.
@@Queequeg61 …What???!!! The HORROR!!!!😱😨YOU expect me, to BELIEVE what others have said & written & documented, without ME having personally set EYES on a Shark???!!!! How Outrageous, how lazy & how shocking!!!!! NEVER!!!! If I DO NOT see it personally, I ain’t gonna BELIEVE it! What an outrageous suggestion! Tsk! Tsk!

You're the best!
@@TheTapeLibraryI totally agree 💯 percent you should have 300,000 by now.

Been trying to share your channel to as many people I know. High-end production on strange & intriguing stories. Absolutely cherish all you do. Ghost town stories... Yes!
Thanks for sharing it!
This story is the very reason why I say deep woods anything is probably a bad idea, you never know exactly what is out there. Always love getting a new video notification, I know it's gonna be a great time. I'd say legends and urban legends videos would be good fun.
Thats a pretty terrible way to live life. You're thousands of times more likely to be killed by some crazy person while walking through the city rather than have some unexplained phenomena happen to you in the wilderness. Most people who go missing are all guilty of being under prepared for the terrain and had sub par skills when it comes to planning and knowing what to do when the shit hits the fan. You're more likely to be stabbed and mugged walking every day for four months in a big city compared to scary shit happening walking every day for four months through the wilderness on something like the Pacific Crest Trail
@@bowenbottorff1283I would say the PCT is not the best example because there is much crime. But in the woods you are safer then in a big city. Worst is AT.
@@FlorianMark how is the Appalachian trail dangerous? I don't think I've ever heard of crime being a thing on the AT
😂
@Townesvanwaits your not well informed. Just search for crime on the AT. Numerous people have been murdered by nut cases on the trail.
I guessed right lol. PortLock is somewhere I’d love to visit, so many tales and stories from the area. Whether it’s misidentification or something else there’s been too much that’s happened there over the years to just dismiss it. Thank you for another brilliant episode 🙏🏻👏🏻
Mate this is the best channel of TH-cam, really great content. Hollywood spend billions for awful entertainment, this guy produces better entertainment just giving his own time and editing without asking for money!
Woke
Great episode. Definitely make the short stories video and most important, Don't change a thing with your presentation. You're in the sweet spot with your storytelling.
Your content is my absolute favourite, never any exaggeration and always seems to be well written and researched. Thank you 👍
this IS a fascinating topic
i just wanted to thank you for these great stories. Your voice has me so relaxed every evening. Again, thank you!!!
Thank you for watching!
Your profile pic is awesome!!! 👍
Right, that what I base my subscribe on. Great voice easy listening narration. Thumbs up 👍
I love the legends of this area. Glad you’re covering it.

Great content my dude.
Appreciate it!
Yey, I've been patiently waiting for the next episode and checking every day ! I'm telling everyone I know who loves this kind of channel how amazing it is.

I love your content!! The stories and delivery are top notch! I've already binged everything you have available, can't wait for more :)
Glad you like them!
Your writing and storytelling is incredible. Thank you for sharing all of the stories!
Thank you!
YES YES YES😊 please do episodes on that. This was so scary, that's why I'd hate to go camping in remote places. Plus it's always raining in UK 😂😂. This was so interesting ❤ thanks for yet another cracking video
Does anyone go camping in your country? I'd not thought of it before. Sorry if that's an ignorant question.
@@bakerinthehouse5346I'm sure many do, but it's not for me, still the fear of the unknown I suppose 🥴🥴🥴. Give me a pool anyday and hot weather 😂
I just love you man. Thank you so much for the stories! And a resounding "yes" to ghost town stories! :D
i WAS bORN IN 1949 AND READ lots of Treasure and gold mining books, people were mining Gold in
this thriving town The Folks Named It "Blood Gold" village & in 1950, most residents moving to nearby villages down the coast. Marty Robbens a Country Singer had Big Hit "North To Alaska" where he Sent his Wifes Father to Portlock then Married his Daughter. The Old Man never came back.
Another Tape library drop, and its a banger! Keep at it, your channel is growing exponentially!!
I'm so glad I found your channel. You're a great storyteller dude!
I read the flashing images warning as "This video may contain fishing images." And as an Alaskan, my first response was, "Yeah, no, that checks out." 🤷🏻♀️😂
Thank you for taking your time to make high quality videos!
My pleasure!
Loving everything this channel puts out.
Episode on ghost town would be cool, no rush. 🤘🏻
Ghost town stories? Yes, please! Great channel btw, keep going! You'll go far
The music, editing and choice of footage are brilliant and your storytelling is very well paced and in depth. Of all the videos I've watched on Portlock this one is by far the best in every aspect. Great work
Thank you!
Absolutely do the ghost town video! I found your channel a few months ago and have listened to EVERYTHING--and then got all of my friends to listen too! Lol! Thank you for making such good content. Your video editing skills are SO cool and you've a wonderful narrating voice! I always look forward to seeing your videos!
Glad you’re enjoying it :)
YES! I love the story of protlock! First thing I listen to when I get to work
Found your channel recently and making my way through all your past videos. Love the way you do these, not over the top or trying to be suspenseful. Just the story. Keep up the awesome work I’m definitely going to watch all of them.
Great narration. New subscriber. Love these stories.
I do believe a large hairy humanoid could exist. Ppl always comment why they haven't been much proof, but as any animal, they are hard to get good pics. Im in MN, I have black bears every may & June. My property is surrounded all 4 side by trees, and these bears can be with in 20' of me & I've never heard a sound. It's a little freaky bc I'm positive their watching me, last 2 sightings, they came out of woods within minutes of me putting my Newfoundlands in the house. Last time was my 1st Momma & her cub.
I waited until dusk to play this intriguing "tape"! Thank you as always, dear Tape Library 🖤❣️🖤
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@TheTapeLibrary *still listening and loving it!
Great story telling & visuals! I've heard thousands of 1st hand accounts of experiences with sabe/sasquatch & i 100% think they are real. There has even been dna found and analyzed that has a human mother and unknown father. Fantastic video, definitely subbed! ❤❤❤
Hi ya'all.
Yes, ghost towns, please!!
Love your voice.
Thanks for all the hard work editing. Research. Voice over, scripts, etc
🕊🙏🐾
Thank you for watching! :)
Fantastic (as usual). Ghost towns in any area are fascinating, but I appreciate the focus on AK (near and dear to me)
Fabulous storytelling and atmospheric visuals. Thanks for all your well researched hard work (this tale was new to me, loved it), more ghost towns please.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Commenting first time on your vid have been listening to you for some time I am actually working on my listening skills.
You have an amazing skill of telling tales keep it up.
Endless appreciation from Pakistan.
Thank you!
As an aussie, i love finding creators with more familiar accents to me. Even though we have very different accents and are from the oppisite ends of the globe, its comforting to hear this rather than a European or North American accent.
Love your work mate.
Thanks!
Great treat!! Fascinating story, wonderfully well brought - as always! Thank you, TTL!!
you’re welcome!
Ive heard this story many times on YT, the way you narrate and speak, is amazing...made me subscribe. Cheers.
thanks for subscribing
You an absolute legend mate! Thx for the video! ❤
I love your work and your narrations. I’ve found that I can only listen to you when it’s daylight out. I’m actually afraid to listen during the night. If I do listen at night I leave my lamp on as a nightlight and my bedroom door wide open.
That means you’re good. Damned good. Thank you for your work…it’s truly appreciated.
Ha, love to hear that 😄 thanks for watching
I love a Bigfoot story. The Hairy Man is new to me.
My first short video on TH-cam has a genuine Bigfoot sighting ; )
All my family and friends are subscribed! Love your content so much
Once again, you've delivered a beautifully narrated story. ✌️❤️
thank you
1) in summer in Alaska, there's a serious shortage of darkness, (2) Portlock was abandoned because other routes were opened up, making travel and transport cheaper. No one need to go through Portlock any more.
We've missed you!!!
Your voice and delivery are impeccable. Many thanks and blessings
Commenting before I watch this… SO KEEN!!!!
This channel, along with Bedtime Stories is on the top of the list from me whenever i wanta deep in the woods scary story, with great production quality and narration! Hope it gets more subscribers and the recognition it deserves soon!

I just only recently discovered your channel not too long ago. You’ve easily become one of my top favorite narrators/story teller
This video popped up randomly on my home screen and I am so glad it did. Really dig your narration style!
Just want to say man I'm proud of you. Your hard work is finally paying off. I'm so glad your channel is growing. I remember you at like 5k views and thinking how tf does he not have thousands of subs. You really are an inspiration. Keep it up

Another great one- your content is such a great distraction from life’s anxieties and monotony- appreciate what you do!
Always well written and fascinating, can't wait for the next one! Cheers!
I spent time commercial fishing the Kenai Peninsula. When I wasn't out commercial fishing I was out in the woods exploring. One day my captain dropped me off at a lake with a canoe and was to pick me up at the same place at a later time. He spoke of a cabin out in a remote place that could only be reached by boat or float plane. I set out in the canoe and finally found the cabin. I set up camp and explored the woods around the camp. I found a old row boat suitable for comfort fishing and dragged it to the lake. I set out to find the oars and located them underneath the cabin. I loaded up my fishing gear and my gun and went fishing in the cove around the camp. I got some fish and started back to the cabin. I noticed something very large was following me on the shore it was hidden by the tall grass and trees. I could see the grass and small trees being pushed as the creature was heading me off coming to meet me at the cabin. I quickly changed my direction and headed straight for the creature to get it on camera. As I got close the creature stopped and dropped down in the grass and didn't move so I waited and nothing. I went back to camp and cleaned my fish and made a fire and began cooking. I started hearing the creature move about around the outskirts of camp. At one point it got so close to me I could smell it. It was the most foul smelling thing I have ever smelled. It smelled like body odor, rotten meat, and shit all combined. It was horrible. I went into the cabin and could hear the creature all night as I sat with my gun in my hand. I never saw it and I left the next day.
Any subject you cover is always interesting and entertaining. I look forward to all of your content. Thank you 😊
Another brilliant video!! Thank you so much always look forward to your posts;)
And i would love a episode on ghost towns!!!!
I've just stumbled on this channel, and got to say, thank god I did, absolutely superb, so well done
You have an incredibly effective way of storytelling, that is so impressive. You are able to creep me out by just delivering a story, and that’s so rare. I am recommending your channel to everyone I know, thanks for all the stellar content mate 🥰
Thank you so much!
Dude I LOVE the longer form videos. Don't hesitate to trust your audience with 20-45 mins on a single topic :)
Been binging on your videos all morning. Love ur channel. ❤
Back in July, I was on a cruise and one evening I watched a show on this town. I don't know if it was Travel Channel, but it showed some men who either had lived there or had had family to have lived there go back to check out the town. They kept finding old machinery, etc., in places it shouldn't be. Stuff like that. That's why I watched today, I had found the Portlock interesting.
Recently found your channel. Love the format. I kind of had an encounter at a college toga party. Was setting projector up to show Beatles and 3 stooges movies and felt like someone was in a back room staring at me. When I looked there was no one but I couldn't shake the feeling someone was back there. Found out from a college friend that another student had done himself in back there.
Very cool, this is accurate. My grandmother was from the area, and dogfish is a logging camp my dad worked in when I was a kid. Though I've never been out to the area, I've heard the stories about Bigfoot and other things in the area. Dogfish is just as scary sometimes. Appreciate the content, good reminder of home.
Interesting. I wonder how Dogfish got its name? Sounds like a lochness hehe.
Please explore ghost towns! I just found you recently and love your videos! Keep up the great work!
