Thank you! This video came at a perfect time for me. I am making autumn cards and have some patterned paper that I didn’t think I could use on a card. Now I have some inspiration.
This was so timely for me. The slimline with sunflower solution will work perfectly for a medallion paper I was currently trying to use. I’ve love how you describe your thought process as much as the templates. Thank you for sharing.
These are lovely!! Thank you for the templates, I added notes to them as I watched the video. I'm jealous of your Joanns - ours here are clearancing out almost all of the paper craft items.
Thank you for sharing such great ideas, Jess. I had another thought on the turkey paper. Specifically the left half where you had that little spot of foliage on the one edge after cutting the paper down. With that particular sketch, you could also cut that 1-1/2 x 8" strip in half to make 2 strips that are 1-1/2 x 4". Then rotate the one half with the foliage spot so that end is behind the focal (3 x 4") panel. Because that panel covers that part of the strip entirely, no one will ever know. Just another idea to consider when dealing with such papers. I love the cards you made. I don't do many slimline cards, but I think for patterned papers like you used, they can certainly be helpful. Thanks again for sharing these, & for doing the templates. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
I love all the thought process explanations it makes using a whole paper pad easier. Cause I will buy a pad for certain gorgeous papers but then struggle with some of the rest. Can we donate a slim line card? I usually default to a2 but I love slim line cards.
Thank you. The links to the templates are at the beginning of the video description. The links weren’t working as expected when I published the video. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Sorry Maureen, I tried to reply to this days ago and it seems it didn't go through. The links were broken, but have since been fixed. Thank you for letting me know.
Mostly I don't use envelopes. I hand deliver or donate to organizations that accept the size but don't require envelopes. However I've heard people use 'business' envelopes which are larger and I was able to find some made for slimline on Amazon. I have ordered them and will give them a try to see if it's a good option.
More great ideas Jess! Keep em coming! Can’t wait to see what you have planned for Christmas cards!
like all the cards. thanks for the templates
Hello, very helpful...both videos.

I love my TE mini strips, and the backer. So easy to use.
Agreed, so happy with them
Great video. Thank you.
You are so good at explaining your design choices. Thanks for taking the time to show us, so we can be more confidant when we make cards!
I like to use 6x8 mini albums. Really shows off the layout the scale pages.

Thank you! It's always disappointing to see paper crafting sections shrinking.
Great tips on how to use the harder pattern papers.
Love all of your pretty fall cards.

Jess, are the first few lines in the description supposed to be links to the templates? Thanks for checking. I love your templates and videos! ❤

@@JessCrafts thanks so much Jess! 💖
What do you use for envelopes for the slimline cards?
