A bit of a time machine experience listening to my voice of more than twenty five years ago. I have always had a fondness for this story and felt honored to be allowed to narrate this story. Funny the things that come to mind, having not seen this documentary in so many years. I remember my conversations with Gordon Lightfoot and the genesis of his great song about the Canadian Railroad builders. It's too bad so much of our Canadian story is forgotten and uncelebrated.
