I haven’t built a bow yet. It will happen, as I live in Clarksville Tn. Home of Twin Oaks Bowhunters. Several friends there that build em. If you have never been, I would highly recommend attending the Classic there. It’s the first weekend of May every year. Glad I found your channel. Enjoy your videos.
The classic is high on my list. Always looks like a swell time!
Thank you very interesting an informative
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
The Osage I’m working on will have inch and a half limbs and taper about ten inches out down to about three quarters on an inch tips. Going to try to use a small piece of antler glued to it for arrow rest. Really liked the video real informative.
That’s a great idea. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Awesome video and very informative as well
Thanks for watching.
Thanks... Am looking for a good hackberry stave... Have made 5 board bows (oak).. Some pyramid and some flatbows... and one Osage flatbow. Thanks for the info and reinforcement of better design before getting too deep into making.
Best of luck!
Thanks so much for this series 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You got it 👍🏼
@BackwardsHatNation
Can't wait to try the hillstyle bow
How long should I season a hickory stave for that
@@Tradhuntdeer get it roughed down to a blank so you aren’t seasoning a bunch of waste material then let it go in a dry/low humidity place for a couple months at least.
