Indexing puzzles break my brain. I stared at it for 10 minutes, grabbed a cup of coffee, and watched the video. Maybe one day I'll wrap my head around them... today is not that day! I did enjoy the video as always. Thanks!
I do recall this one! Surprisingly my browser history still had a link to my solve, and apparently I completed it in 27:44 (conflict checker off). I do recall this being a bit of a head scratcher to start with, but also recall enjoying it! Many thanks to perladel for a cool puzzle and to BremSter for presenting it!
There was an indexing puzzle for GAS a few days ago, so I came at this with an air of grandeur... I was quickly put in my place, and a watch will do. 🙃
Some staring at it needed to sort out the uniqoe bits, then it just seemed to fall out, always with me thinking I must have made a mistake somewhere, but no. A greatpuzzle.
I definitely find the indexing description confusing. Even the name is confusing. Isn't this column indexing and not row? At any rate, I moved forward after listening to the description of the rules. Eventually, I gave up. Too hard for me. I always give indexing a try, but it just doesn't click for me. Sometimes I can solve them, but most of the time I find them too frustrating to keep working through.
That was a lot more difficult than i expected. Could be because of how tired i am though.

Took awhile to figure out things, but once the pairs was resolved it was a fill in after that. Done in 16:09

awesome puzzle. 28:25 but I definitely got stuck in the middle. And some very pleasant sudoku to finish it off.

Great puzzle and solve. Solved it in 28:00, though the puzzle seemed familiar, so I may have solved this before.

I agree, reading the rules I was happily trotting off in the exact wrong direction at first. And I like indexing.
