Dutchware Tarp Sleeve on my Kelty Noah 12 Tarp

- I ordered the Dutchware mesh tarp sleeve to use on my Kelty Noah's 12 tarp. I plan to mostly use the tarp and the tarp snakeskin for hammock camping. The Kelty Noah 12 is a large tarp and I like the coverage it gives me. However, when dealing with a large tarp it can be a bit aggravating at times. The tarp sleeve will virtually eliminate the trouble when it comes to hanging it over your hammock. Having a tarp sleeve makes it much quicker to deploy and also pack up your tarp. This may be an idea for your hammock camping setup as well.

Seems like with the sleeve you'd just get rid of the S-biners and run the ridge line through the supplied loops on the tarp. Leave everything together and you've got a very easy to deploy and pack up tarp. Looks like it'd be great for deploying the tarp in rainy weather. Glad you brought this product into view. I'm going to order one. Thanks.

I'm gonna grab one of these when I get my new tarp I love the snakeskins and sleeves for ease of setup.
Dutch makes great products. I have many Dutchware items but not his tarp sleeves. I got Hennessy Snake Skins many years ago before Dutch was started. Tarp sleeves or snake skins are a game changer for tarps....Take care, Bluefin.
I could smack myself for not getting skins sooner.

I really need to switch to this. I have a 2 piece sleeve I've used for years. 1 piece would be so much easier.

I first did it under the ridgeline just to make those hateful individuals out there boil a while. Seriously, make a few hammock related videos and you would not believe how some people comment. Haters come out, it's crazy. It's just a friggin hammock, LOL.
@@myadventureoutdoors yeah I understand your frustration. I've gotten some negative feedback from a few hardcore hammock heads in the past also. If it isn't thier way it's wrong.

Do you think it's better and easier to store the tarp (12'ft) with a one pièce sleeve or à 2 pieces ? Which benefits of each one ? Thanks
The Kelty is a big tarp and the one piece worked just fine. To be honest, I don't really see a reason for the 2 piece.

I set mine up in the square so I can put it in tent mode, but I have a kelty 9 that I use in diamond shape. I’m really liking that snake skin!!! That was a weak whoooo... what’s up with that???
