Synopsis: It seems that Bob Jones (Michael Keaton) has everything a man could want, namely a fulfilling job and a beautiful, pregnant wife, Gail (Nicole Kidman). But Bob's life is turned upside-down when he is diagnosed with cancer and given four months to live -- not even enough time to see his first child's birth. To cleanse himself of demons in his remaining days, Bob makes a video diary, hoping to pass along some wisdom to his future child. Along the way, he discovers a lot about himself.

I saw this in theaters when I was a young teen, there wasn't a dried eye left in the audience and it was silent when it was over.

I love this movie. It’s so moving. I can never explain to people why I tear up at the William Tell overture.

Another moving movie I recommend is Grace is Gone with John Cusack. It’s about a man who takes his daughters on a road trip after hearing the sad news about his wife that died in the war

Great movie. I watched this for the first time and it was very touching to watch. I'm battling stage 4 cancer right now and I learned so much from watching this. It was a tough film to watch.

We took our wives to the movies. The guys went to see Cool Runnings and the ladies went to see MY LIFE.. Well our movie ended first and we went in and joined our wives who were balling their eyes out. Being men we gave them that Tough Men smerk.. 5 minutes later we were balling our eyes out as well.
