- Hey everyone! Sorry for the hiatus but we’re back with another episode. Today we are flying with my good friend Brad Lund who is the owner and pilot of this beautiful Citation. At cruise, we talk with him about his success as an entrepreneur and how the jet is a valuable resource for his business. And to top it all off, this is all happening as we are on the final leg into Oshkosh Air Venture 2023! We fly the warbird arrival and land on 36R which is a taxiway converted to a runway for the show. Buckle up, enjoy and subscribe for future episodes!

Ha! You did an amazing job. Always super impressive to listen to y’all work
You were awesome!
Owen, dude, you’re a class act and so proud of you and your bro being there too, with you. Please post more and grow your channel. Cheers!
Thank you! More on the way!
The audio is beautifully clear. Man, Brad nailed that landing.
Indeed! Thanks for watching!
Brad Lund exudes calmness and confidence. Very much enjoyed the video and hearing his story.
Absolutely amazing landing could not have been any better.
Right?
That man absolutely nailed that landing.
Right!?
Brother, between You, Citation Max, Greg (P1D), and of course, Steveo, we all get to live vicariously through you incredibly cool content! You all kept me plenty entertained while spending over 218 days in the hospital being treated for a bone disease. Thank you all so much for being the G.O.A.T. 🐐 !! Well done on the editing to your bud too!!
Really appreciate the kind words! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Great video, keep ‘em coming!!
On the square and smooth 😎
He nailed it!
THIS was awesome, what a ride, what an owner and what an amazing landing. So very cool.
My Dad was in the storage business - he had 4 locations and did all right. To have 33 locations this owner has made a shed load of money. Congratulations to him for his success on the ground and in the sky.
Brads truly an inspiration! Thanks for watching
Haha! Yeah, it’s been good! #blessed
Brad is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. We had a great time flying his gorgeous red carbon cub at Flabob Airport. Excellent video.
I remember that! Thanks!

Hey Owen,
I just had to take a moment to applaud your incredible journey to Oshkosh 2023! It’s no small feat to navigate the skies and land at one of the most renowned aviation events in the world. Your piloting skills and determination are truly awe-inspiring.
From the cockpit to the airfield, you’ve demonstrated not only your technical prowess but also your passion for aviation. The dedication it takes to prepare for such a journey and ensure the safety and smoothness of the flight is truly commendable. Your ability to handle the intricacies of flight planning, weather conditions, and air traffic control while maintaining your enthusiasm for flying is nothing short of remarkable.
As you soared through the sky, I can only imagine the breathtaking views and the feeling of freedom that comes with being airborne. And to be a part of the Oshkosh experience, where aviation enthusiasts from around the globe gather to celebrate their shared love for flight, must have been an unforgettable adventure.
Your journey serves as a reminder that dreams can indeed take flight with the right mix of skill, determination, and a touch of daring. Your dedication to honing your piloting skills and your willingness to take on challenges head-on are truly inspiring to everyone who knows you.
Here’s to you, my friend, for reaching new heights, quite literally, and for being an inspiration to us all. May your future flights be just as exhilarating and fulfilling, and may you continue to soar towards even greater horizons.
Thank you for watching! I’m truly blessed to be able to do what I do. More to come!
Thank you !
You're welcome!
From a Columbia 400 to a Citation? My hero. 🤙🤙
Right!?
Haha too funny! Thanks!
Epic video. Really enjoyed this. Nice work Owen and great landing Brad!
Appreciate it! Brad is a great stick.
I’ve done the Fisk arrival so super cool to see a different (warbird) arrival. Still busy but less chaotic. Thank you for this cool perspective!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, that was amazing! Nailed that red square, so impressed. What a crazy environment. FA-18 was amazing. Looks like fun, good job you guys.
Brad nailed it indeed! Oshkosh is definitely one of a kind. Appreciate it!

He started with a turbo 210! There’s hope for me yet! Great landing.
You’ll have a Mustang in no time! Yes he nailed that landing
Beutiful Mustang, great flight and landing at OSH...thx
Thanks for watching!
14:50 - First, huge props to the ATC! Second, that landing was awesome and nailed to red square. Great stuff by both pilot and co!
That was an INSANE landing!! "NAILED IT!!!!" CENTER of the "red square" is what I saw!! PERFECT!!
Super cool flight, thanks for the ride along!
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely, the coolest video ever!
Very well done, thanks for sharing 👍.
Thanks Owen! And cool to meet that man behind Lepp Aviation, I love that channel.
I appreciate that, Gus! 😎
He’s the best! Thanks for watching.
Incredible landing 👏
Brad nailed it!
Excellent video Owen and great CRM!
Always!
As always thanks Owen
My pleasure!
That was an awesome landing. No level turn in a jet onto a super narrow runway that pilot would’ve been an awesome airline captain
Brad is a good stick!
One thing I found in Light Sport flying, is I could not keep up with ATC like you can. Anyone can fly, but it takes time to become a pilot and a lucky dude to fly a Mustang. That's a horse you can get inside of, lol, and your friends too. You made the right decision avoiding an airline job. Not to knock them--I worked as a data analyst for American during their merger with US Airways, but retired after that having flown as a business traveler prior to that from '89 to '15, my retirement date.
I have never been flown in a biz jet but did get to see inside one before I left Napa.
With Mosaic coming from the FAA, I know bigger aircraft will be available for light sport pilots like the Cessna Cardinal, reducing their costs.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the comment
FSD-one of my old stomping’ grounds and the first airport where I got a clearance for and executed a zero-zero take off. The tower cab was above the ground fog and when the controller saw me pop up he asked if I wished to cancel IFR which I did (and glad I didn’t have to return for an emergency landing!)
Wow! Cool experience
Wow... cooler than I thought...
Excellent sortie. Great OSH arrival. Also love the shot of the Bonanza at the end. All the best.
Thanks!
Nailed that landing!!
Right!?
Owen, nice video, please tell Brad he had an advise thats worth millions of dollars, all that he was told about becoming a pilot and joining and flying for the airline is 100% true, this is from someone who has been flying for 40 years in the airline industry. flown all major manufacturers
Awesome video, Owen!
Thanks Mark!
wow... oshkosh is nuts!
We saw Brad’s plane on the Hilton ramp…really nice plane. Saw most of your crew there at the Hilton, too, but not you. We stay there every year and do the B2OSH arrival so park in the North 40.
Small world! Didn’t make it over to the Hilton much this year.
Welcome to Wisconsin, Owen!! Sweet ride 🛩
Happy to be here!
Great landing. That controller lady is impressive!
She’s sharp!

Googled the Purely Storage chain. Wow!
Loved Brad greased it exactly on the red square!!
Haha! Thanks. About time
Brad is a great dude and an inspiration!
Great video.. Amazing.
Nice flight. Warbird arrival seemed significantly less chaotic than the Fisk, even at 2300ft / 135kt. We took off right behind y'all on Sunday.
It was pretty straight forward!
Great video!
Thanks!
Well done. Nicely and professionally managed flight deck. Cheers buddy!

Awesome landing Brad; nice take-off Chris; hey Owen what's with the "Dad" hat? Are you a Dad now for sure?? You're a wonderful pilot yourself, Owen. I really enjoy watching you fly too.
👍
Talk about greaser or as my dad used to say, a Brylcreem landing. Loved it all the way. Thanks, chaps -

@@FlyWithOwen You are welcome.
@ 4:00… Direct- ‘BOOTY’ 😅 Thanks for sharing
Ha! Thanks for watching
Awesome video Owen I've always wanted to go to Oshkosh but never really had the funds or time
Hopefully you can make it out some time!
@@FlyWithOwen it's definitely a bucket list trip
I’m a pilot and career controller. It’s a career bucket list item to work Oshkosh during the show. Someday.
Awesome! It’s quite the show to say the least
Now I really want to do aviation
Can you make a video about your life story how you got into this life? whether it is difficult to become a private jet pilot? Awesome videos by the way! 💪
Owen David is MR Cool in the cockpit 😊😎👍🏼
Nice video, excellent quality. How did you end up at KFSD, fuel stop I presume? I train out of Y14(Tea, SD) and land there all the time. Working on commercial at the moment. Thanks again.
Thanks! Cheap fuel right on the way
Ahh you at FSD.. I live just west of Sioux Falls..I always wanted to be a pilot..but I'm 50 yrs old
Such a cool video! Love your content, man! Keep it up. And btw: what type-ratings do you have besides the G4 and P180 Rating?
I built interior parts for a large number of the mustangs flying. Probably 150-170
Owen, curious why ya'll didn't go IFR into OSH? The 1 time I flew in we went in IFR and got right in zero issue then flew out VFR. Flying out IFR would have been a long ground hold trying to get a release.
Explained at 9:09. They discourage IFR when weather is VFR.
I've never been on a citation before, but having watched the guys load into the airplane, I'm pretty sure that me being 6'6" and 230 lbs. I am pretty sure it would take a great effort to smash my ass into the plane. Oh, and on the topic of airline pilots, my friend flew for Delta through covid. Healthy guy until the company forced him to get the vaccine. He is now unemployed because he can't pass the physical due to heart issues. 26 years of flying and he now had to take a desk job.
