Another brilliant video guys! You really are determined to get this camping right this year 😄. We've just booked to go across to Ireland early May and hope to do our first motocamping too. Fingers crossed for the weather gods to play fair!
Excellent we did Ireland last year. We have a wales and Ireland playlist you should watch, skip the wales episodes if you want it’s just we passed through both ways anyway so added it to our tour. Eat before you get on the ferry, it’s mad expensive and awful. Highlights for us was the Wicklow mountains and what we found there, and the Gap of Dunloe was amazing. We did the ring of Kerry and found that some of the better parts of the trip were just out of the main routes. th-cam.com/play/PLAbzmvTdb3d13pUbL8atc8p1OMCISbV4z.html&si=Y-u3he7SUyd6RAmv

@@GreyBiker99 No problem, also another top tip is to research where you eat, finding traditional Irish pubs and food is harder than you may think, there is so much tourism for Americans there, you’ll see them coach loads at a time, pubs especially in tourist towns will be aimed at there custom which means burger and chips everywhere

@@ontheroadadventure ah there’s nothing better than camping out, the weather has got to be right though, the place you camp has got to be to you liking too, your neighbours have to be the sort of peeps you get on with, food,& a beer too. Yeah it’s definitely trial and error, we are seeing what stuff works, what’s not worth taking touring etc, just having fun with it really. Instant coffee would just be too simple for us lol, we do like fancy coffee! Which stove have you gone for?
@@ontheroadadventure same as you. You should find it a tad easier than us.. We did two up plus camping and luggage on our Tracer.. As you guys have a bike each it should be easier.. My tracer 900 2017 was one of my favourite and memorable bikes, loved it. Yes we do have a advantage of having two bikes to pack the stuff on… but at this rate we will need a van!
I was just thinking last night I hadn’t seen I video for a while! Yummy! I always take pancake mix camping, and you can never have enough equipment. Honestly, ditch the burner you have an adjustable jet boil, micromo or minimo the fire maple ones are good too. Never had an issue with the flame, and I use a frying pan and the sea to summit pan on it as well as the pot it comes with. Can’t wait for your big adventure 😊
We saw a guy cooking on his jet boil the other day and thought it looked amazing but i dont think we can do that with our OEX one as the cup bit is attached to the burner itself. We maywell have to change that for a Jetboil. Another typical buy cheap buy twice. The seatosummit gear seems really great

TOSSERS!! Quite a lot of fun eh? Pancakes looked pretty good, Tesco will be selling their pancake shaker mix by the thousands now….if you ask them maybe they’ll pay you some commission ….or maybe not! I’d forget all the coffee kit (a lot of ‘handwork’ without a happy ending!). Just drink it black: zero hassle!
Guys, instead to bring all that stuff with you it's better you just have a couple sandwiches when having a picnic around. Or, you find a nice little restaurant or even pub. The bikes will be much lighter, lmao. And... crepes and pancakes are completely different things. Cheers! (Ewa tosses better).
Lol cheers! We won’t take all this stuff when we go touring, we just made a reason to take ourselves out on the bikes to be honest. We are testing moto camp cooking gear and seeing what’s good and what’s not for our upcoming adventures
Try a portable gas stove there only little, mind the wobbly gas bomb type thing is entertaining 😂 Camping looks like one disaster after another and a good way to make things more difficult than they should be.
@@ontheroadadventure it’s one of the most entertaining things I watch all week, the camping for ewas birthday was the funniest thing I’ve watched in ages
Ewa like the pan that you used specially due to that it is non-stick and the pan cakes did not stick to the pan, but my concern it seems a bit on the bulky side. Rich about the stove that has been used i truly don't know if that would work out specially with the windshield it seems so clumpsy the whole setup. That the windshield would not work in heavy unexpected wind conditions. Did you find out stove that you would recommend to use, is considering to get also cooking ware when my wife and i drove out during the day on day trips to prepare for us something to eat. But one has to be so careful to buy stuff online specially when one does not know the product - i don't wont to buy something that is crap.

We use the Trangia for the best all round cooking set up and we have some amazing grills and fire grill cooking equipment from Firemaple. There stuff is amazing
If you take all this camping equipment on your travels will you have any room left for clothes?! 😁. It is nice not to rely on cafes and restaurants but this mobile cooking lark is quite a hassle.
Yes we are getting quite the collection of Kit! We will try out all the Stuff and only the Short list of stuff will make it with us on the next tour.... And we will probably carry it all to each cafe with us lol

thanks so much for joining us, glad you enjoyed it. the good thing about making your own pancakes is you can have as many as you want!
Off camping now where’s my coffee frother? 😂 you too crack me up 😂
Ah yes, that will Be in the useless crap drawer then 😂
You two smashed it again, awesome viewing! Eva please don't talk about giving up and drinking Nescafe!! 🤢I would rather go without my coffee!! 🤣We tried the Tesco pancake mix and it is more like the American pancakes? AKA Sponge cake! Batter/Yorkshire pudding mix is the way to go for a good old English pancake 😋I think your wind guard helped, probably too cold TBF? Keep the videos coming & keep us laughing 😄
Thanks so much, Dont worry theres no danger of us going to nescafe instant if we can help it. So the Pancake debate has begun.... Is it the fatter round ones or the thin crepe style ones right?
@@ontheroadadventure Thin ones for me made with batter mix, they taste sooo good! 😁
Same for me. Ewa couldn’t believe that lemon juice in a bottle could even exist, she squeezes her own lemons for almost every she makes! This could be the new vinegar…… That was a hole new world for her with potatoes! It’s not a thing in Poland
@@ontheroadadventure Rich have you introduced Ewa to Jacket spuds with chilli con carne poured over them? Just the best thing ever! Oh I meant to say Ewa's auxiliary lights are amazing, they really stand out in orange, just like you said, maybe I'll put some orange cellophane over the ones on my RT 🤣😉
Yes We love a jacket potato! We will do this when we get a campsite fire going...
This is the first video i've seen of yours, i dont mean any critisism when i say that watchin you both cook was fucking hilarious and the pancakes looked pretty good anyway 🤣 thank you for brightening my day. So good to watch, thank you.
Hey, Thanks Steve. We will be doing soo much more content like that with both me and rich very soon. We so love to make content that makes people laugh with us
You two have found a hole in the TH-cam videos?? Food and moto cooking! Keep going 👍
Thanks John, Food is next in line for Bikers after our love of Riding, we figure we always combine the two... When we go out, we usually ride somewhere and eat. Maybe we will start finding other food based ideas for videos.... Anything in mind?
@@ontheroadadventureKeep doing what your doing! Also rating cafés food and biker venues as well as campsites and biker friendly hotels and accommodation with secure motorcycle parking? All the best 👍
We have thought about trying food challenges! Trouble is, we are already big enough!
@@ontheroadadventurelol 😂
We will bring a new meaning to the expression “They are growing on TH-cam”
Lovely day for a ride. Looked like everyone and his aunt had the same idea. Kudos for trying some new kit and letting us in on it! Your Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) effort was miles better than the "Full English" debacle last time. Have you tried American-style thick pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup? Yummm!
Yes lovely day for a ride but it was still very cold on Dartmoor. I think we discovered very quickly when it comes to Moto camping style cooking, simple is best. Pancakes and bacon sounds good but it brings us back to the bacon debate…. Gotta be back bacon for me
@@ontheroadadventure Point taken - back bacon is a British thing
It's the bacon and maple syrup combination which takes pancakes to a different level. Cheers
Lol Ewa is on your side and will argue for streaky
Apparently brown sugar on bacon is good too when caramelised. We will have to try it out
Must say great video and the pancakes looked good but try them with golden syrup they are Bldy lovely keep on what your doing it’s great fun a very good watch take care ride safe
Thanks! we will have to try that now... Glad you can come and have a laugh with us for a bit. See you in the next one
Great fun watching your journey of “ trial and error “ Straightforward and transparent, as we like it…
For a more relaxed camp cooking experience, one of the Trangia sets could be a solution. If you search for TS HANSEN TRANGIA, you’ll see it in use with the gas burner (which is an add-on)
Anyway, thanks for sharing 👍🇳🇴
Thanks glad you enjoyed it, we will definitely look into stove alternatives and will look this one up. We were put off trangia by the fuel but we didnt know it could do gas too
@@ontheroadadventure The setup I’m currently using is the same as Louisa and Toby are using. Not cheap but super reliable and usable in almost any weather conditions. If you search for
«How to Cook when Bike Touring & Bikepacking // Cycling Around the world» you’ll find their presentation. 😜
We will have a look for them
As a new subscriber got to say I’ve watched loads of you videos back to back great entertainment love you Eva.
I follow a lot of bikers on you tube and have got to say you to are a breath of fresh air so entertaining alls ways make me smile.
I am how inspired to get out on my
Bike this weekend . Ride a versys 1000 gt keep it up guys
Awesome! Thank you! It’s all about getting out and having fun
Great video, you guys are hilarious and make me happy 😅😅
Thank you so much 😁
Trangia 25 set with the gas burner would be perfect for the two of you, everything packs inside the largest pan. Thanks for the great entertainment again 😂
We have looked at this one, It runs on some sort of liquid fuel? our thinking is if we are away for a month and using it twice a day, how much of this fuel will we need to carry? Finding it abroad in another langage im sure will also bring problems?
There's also a gas burner option, i use one for all of my motorcycling camping, google Trangia 25 with gas burner, you want the non stick or the hard anodized option@@ontheroadadventure
@@ontheroadadventure Have a google of the Trangia 25-5 with gas burner, if your heading towards Dorset anytime i would be happy to show you both what i use for all of my motorcycle camping👍
Oh ok thanks, we will search for it and see what its all about. What we have is not upto the job.
Thanks so much, ?its amazing how kind and friendly we have found everyone here to be. Are you on the Facebook group? Search on the road adventure riders group, Who knows maybe we will put when we are coming to dorset and can meet one day
Another great video. 😅 See you on the road
Thanks so Much! Suggestions are open for the next Moto camp Cook up?!
Well done I enjoy all your videos great fun to watch today’s,😂
thanks so much much, we love to make these types of videos and have a laugh with it, so much fun for all involved
Wonderful effort, the only thing missing was ketchup😂
Just ketchup on your pancake?
@@ontheroadadventure oh yes
You the second person to say it so now we have to try it!
@@ontheroadadventure actually only one person has mentions it, I have a different username on TH-cam compared to Facebook
Well you have made a strong case lol@@blitzer109
Are you planning a trip to Poland?
We rode to Poland last year which was great but thats defo something for later in the year, its too cold for Poland right now! We are looking for sunshine.... Have you seen any?
Not as much as i would. I think you are travelling thru the Netherlands then?@@ontheroadadventure
We will likely be doing that later in the year but not on our next big tour
@@ontheroadadventure im curious
Top secret.....
@@ontheroadadventure Perfect, thanks for the tip about the ferry! I was about to start watching those vids of yours this weekend 😁to get some tip, so I'll be sure to take notes! Keep up the good work guys.
@@ontheroadadventure good info, many thanks!
No problem, check out the cemetery in Wicklow mountains on your ride, really interesting place
Another great vid, keep them coming.
Hey Duncan, Thanks so much glad you enjoyed it. We certainly loved making it!
🤣😂 brilliant, quality video, quality cooking, quality tossing, honestly you made me laugh after a shit 12 hours in work, your getting there. Not gonna mention the T word 🤣, but like you I think that little hikers stove is not up to the job,I think they are down right dangerous, weather will be getting warmer soon, can’t wait to see you camping , bought myself a new tent last night, wild country helm 3 compact,so I’ll be busting to try that out, my partners not impressed that tent no 5 🫣 all the best guys👏🏴✊KTF.
lol we soo get the 5 tents! It’s like the list of gear to get is endless and when you get something you almost immediately realise that there’s a better version of it or you need just one more bit of kit… We laughed when we filmed this that you would be telling us to by the trangia again 😂 we will probably try 6 more different ones before caving in 😁 We are also looking at the tents again now, we need something that packs small but still has a good size porch area and ideally we can stand up in, but seems this is asking too much too… We will definitely end up with multiple tents like you too
@@ontheroadadventure ah there’s nothing better than camping out, the weather has got to be right though, the place you camp has got to be to you liking too, your neighbours have to be the sort of peeps you get on with, food,& a beer too. And the trip there & home. I think ewa has got you hooked rich, you just need the right experience to think “ I really enjoyed that, that was so cool “ .
Im hoping we will get to the point of loving it.... Im counting on it really lol This will either go really well, or we are in for a very long time of suffering...
Another great one guys.. Gone through the camping equipment issues ourselves.. So it's take some perfecting.. I normally take a flask and coffee sachets.. Works a dream..
Although we don't do camping much now, rather a budget hotel or Airbnb, we had some great times camping in the UK and Europe..
My tracer 900 2017 was one of my favourite and memorable bikes, loved it. Yes we do have a advantage of having two bikes to pack the stuff on… but at this rate we will need a van!
@@ontheroadadventure you don't know my other half.. 🤣.. They say it's a woman's perogative.. 🤣..
Happy wife, happy life...
The seatosummit gear seems really great
@@ontheroadadventure it’s been a game changer from the suitcase style burner we use in the van, I took weeks comparing different ones, in the end went for it when a sale was on.
It really does, love onetigris, big Agnes and klymit stuff too. 🙂
We have recently discovered the ridge monkey pan, that thing is great. They also make a grill which looks just ace but too big to carry when touring.
@@ontheroadadventure aah I have a very ancient one in the van somewhere, I think we’ve used it a few times, but it’s really small which was annoying, but it’s warmed a a few pies and done toasties 😂
we saw that one coming, so we went for the XL version which is just big enough for two good sized steaks or sammiches
it's always a tonic watching you two! By the way, the small thick American pancakes are what we call drop scones in UK
Glad you enjoyed it 😃 I’ve never heard of drop scones… Now we need to make them just for the name sake! We are getting into this moto camp cooking and have some very cool new stuff we can’t wait to show you all
👍
Do you like to cook outdoors?
Lol The coffee hand work! You just can’t make these things up!
Well done with the pancakes Ewa 👍 I have enough trouble cooking them at home!
Thanks! Sounds like you need practice!
Ha ha Yes! I've got some mix in the bottle left over so I might try them on the camping stove down the allotment. Cheers!
Now that sounds like a good way to pass an afternoon
Any day now, when it's not pishing down 😂.....

The new Led spots on the bike are cool, do you have a link for them?
Thanks they are great, i will be adding them to my bike soon too amzn.to/42HB6tX
Hi you 2 just wondering do you live in dawlish warren? We stayed in a caravan a few years ago lovely place 👍 and also what jobs do you do cheers 👋
Hi, no we just love to ride the Devon coast roads, its a beautiful area
Try a portable gas stove there only little, mind the wobbly gas bomb type thing is entertaining 😂

Someone murdered a pancake lol
At least it was edible this time! improvements on each moto Cook up!
Hi, You are quite right this was one of our first attempts at moto camp cooking and we quickly learned this cooking set up was not good enough. We use the Trangia for the best all round cooking set up and we have some amazing grills and fire grill cooking equipment from Firemaple. There stuff is amazing
Hi ya was loose at ya cooking set up .whats the condiment set called plz im after one yours matt
Hi we bought it on ebay - Sea to summit Camp kitchen tool kit 10pcs set
Ok thax il let ya know
No problem 👍
If you take all this camping equipment on your travels will you have any room left for clothes?! 😁. It is nice not to rely on cafes and restaurants but this mobile cooking lark is quite a hassle.
Yes we are getting quite the collection of Kit! We will try out all the Stuff and only the Short list of stuff will make it with us on the next tour.... And we will probably carry it all to each cafe with us lol
Did I see that you have adjustable screens on your Africa Twins ? if so what are your thoughts on them and what brand are they, I have tried various screens and so far haven't sorted out the buffeting
Hi yes, Mine came with it fitted, ewas had the standard screen. She hated the standard screen the wind was unbearable. These are Puig Touring screens and we run them in the high position. I think its about £80 and well worth while
Many thanks for coming back to me, I'll get one ordered 😊
