    Suggestion from a User: Instead of using the tack tool to pin the bow, you could also edit the fabric properties, at the bottom you can increase the friction and the fabric will become "tackier" and this will serve the same purpose as a tack. Great idea. Thanks!

    So actually you can micromanage simulation itself, so handy 😮🎉

      Yes! Pins are your best friend for manipulating things like this☺️

    Hi! Can you also show how did you do sleeves? Especially the edge. Thank you))

      I’ll try to make some short videos on things like that. They are crystal pleated using the pleats tool and the edge has elastic on it set to a ratio over 100, probably 120-140%

    the hardest thing in CLO3d is not to tie a bow or make good pleats, but so that the simulation does not glitch =)

      Hmm what do you mean by glitch?

      @@yves_jotres Make sure the particle distance on the pieces you're tying is no bigger than 5mm. Increase the "Add'l Thickness Collision" on those same patterns to 4. You also need to be mindful of the tension and not try to pull it too tight. It's tricky and takes practice! Let me know if this helps.

    I tied the ribbon, but it came undone as the fabric overlapped.😢😢😢😢😢

      @ides.studio  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did you adjust particle distance and collision thickness? You need to be sure the ribbon is no larger than 5mm particle distance and the "add'l thickness collision" is at least 4. Make sure you don't pull too hard. Let me know if this helps.

    My knot fabric is crossing each other. Please help

    • @ides.studio
      @ides.studio  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can be really tricky. Make sure the patterns for the ties have 5 particle distance. Also make sure those patterns have "add'l thickness collision" turned up to 4 or 5. And always pull very gently when you're pulling them against each other. It takes a lot of practice. Let me know if this helps!

    How did you get the curly lettuce hem effect on the sleeve.

    • @ides.studio

      Ah funny you should ask! I was JUST making a tiktok on it. Apply elastic at a ratio of over 100%…I usually do 130-140% Only looks good in hi-res just FYI

    This quite simply does not work, and that's not even how you tie bows in real life...

    • @ides.studio
      @ides.studio  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m sorry you’re having trouble. It is definitely tricky! If you’d like more help you can email me hello@ides.studio This is 3D, not real life. You can not do everything exactly like real life, but this is one way to tie a bow IRL and would not have any impact on how the garment fits, so as long as it looks realistic, there is no issue.
